Abstract

This research aims to reveal and know the role of family education in building social construction offered by Hamka in Tafsir al-Azhar as an effort to provide solutions to the community regarding the attitude that families need to take in implementing education. This research is qualitative by using library research to obtain research data and is descriptive-applicative. The main source in this research is Tafsir al-Azhar by Hamka and the secondary sources in this research are articles, scientific works, and documents relevant to this research. The results of this study are, first, according to Hamka to justify a society must justify its main joints, namely a person's soul, second, according to Hamka, fathers and mothers have an important role in the family to shape the soul of a child and parents must ensure that they provide good education to children so that children will be able to live social life in society well.

Abstract

Child education in Islam plays a crucial role in shaping the character and morality of individuals from an early age. This article aims to investigate the concept of child education in Islam from the perspective of Ibn Sina, a prominent scientist and philosopher in the 11th century. A descriptive-analytical method is employed to analyze Ibn Sina's concepts related to child education. The research findings reveal that Ibn Sina emphasizes education as a holistic journey involving the development of each child's unique potential. He views education not only as the transfer of knowledge but also as moral and spiritual guidance. Ibn Sina's contributions to child education include character development, balance between intellectual-moral-spiritual aspects, and the crucial role of educators as moral role models. In the Islamic context, child education encompasses not only religious aspects but also moral values forming the moral foundation for future generations. Ibn Sina's concepts weave Islamic values with philosophical thoughts, providing a broad dimension to the understanding of child education in Islam.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing development and large potential of waqf in Indonesia, but it has not yet been implemented optimally. Waqf, as an Islamic philanthropy, has a very important role in Islamic history. Waqf is also useful as a source of funding for the construction of mosques, hospitals, public facilities, and schools. The aim of this research is to determine the waqf management development model in Islamic boarding schools that are managed with waqf funds. This research is useful as 1) a reference and point of reference for stakeholders and waqf nadzir in developing waqf fund management, especially in Islamic boarding schools; 2) to provide information and socialize the community regarding the waqf development model for Islamic boarding schools in Pekanbaru city; and 3) to become an academic text for the development of sharia economic studies in general and waqf in particular. This type of research is field research with qualitative methods and a non-interactive qualitative approach. The data collection technique for this research uses interview techniques, documentation, and literature. The output of this research will be published in an accredited national journal and submitted as proceedings.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors factors associated with knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the application of eating manners according to the Qur'an and Sunnah. This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional study design. The inclusion criteria of the subject were adult moslem aged 19-59 years old, reside in urban area, and able to read and write. The subject were 111 education staff at the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, South Tangerang City, Indonesia. The data collection was conducted by filling out an online questionnaire using Google Form application. Results shows that most of the respondents had a fairly good level of knowledge (75.7%), attitudes (53.2%), and behavior (55.9%) regarding eating etiquette according to the Qur’an and Sunnah. The level of education was related to the knowledge (p-value = 0.027), attitudes (p-value = 0.005), and behavior (p-value = 0.023) of respondents’ eating etiquette. Marital status was related to respondents' attitudes on eating etiquette (p-value = 0.012). There is no relationship between respondents' knowledge and attitudes with their eating etiquette practice (p-value > 0.05). The university is recommended to provide education regarding eating etiquette according to the Qur’an and Sunnah, especially to employees with lower education level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mother's role in child custody after divorce from the perspective of tarbawi hadith, focusing on integrating Islamic educational values. A qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods and taḥlīlī analysis techniques was employed. Data were collected through library research utilizing primary and secondary sources from classical and contemporary Islamic literature. The research procedure included theme selection, hadith selection, takhrij analysis, and interpretation of educational values. The findings highlight that tarbawi hadith legitimizes maternal priority in custody as long as moral and spiritual criteria are met, with profound educational implications. Mothers, as the first educators, play a strategic role in ensuring emotional stability, supporting psychological development, and internalizing children's spiritual values. These findings significantly contribute to the Islamic educational perspective on child-rearing, particularly post-divorce.

Abstract

Nowadays, women do not only play the role of housewives. Instead, she plays an active role in meeting the family's financial needs by pursuing his profession. So that activities outside the home have a significant role in supporting family finances. However, in the household, career women are still required to provide services like women who do not work. In fact, in some cases, career women are often blamed for problems that arise in the family. The time taken to develop one's career and potential is seen as a source of conflict that shakes the family bond. This article aims to examine the ideal position of career women in the Koran, in order to educate husbands in treating working wives. The method used in this research is tafsir tahlili which examines a verse comprehensively, by placing QS Al Baqarah: 228 as the main verse with several supporting verses. The results of this research indicate that career women should be given more recognition according to the burden they bear. A husband is expected to provide assistance to his wife in doing housework, as appreciation for his wife who has helped earn a living.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out how the implementation of moral and religious values ​​was instilled in children at the Harapan Bunda Sungai Pagar PAUD Post, Kampar Kiri Hilir District, Kampar Regency. Qualitative research with a descriptive approach is the research method used in this research. This involved two main informants, namely teachers at the PAUD Post and one person as a supporting informant, namely the Principal of the PAUD Post School. Data collected for research uses interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, analyzing this research begins with collecting data, reducing the data, then presenting the analyzed data and finally withdrawing the data for verification. The results of this research show that the instillation of moral and religious values ​​at the Harapan Bunda PAUD Post is carried out by teachers through 1) the storytelling method, this method is used because it is considered effective in instilling religious and moral values ​​in children, children understand more quickly if the instillation of religious moral values ​​is carried out. by telling stories. 2) habituation, this method is carried out every day through examples given by the teacher and this is always done so that children become accustomed to it and 3) conversations between the teacher and students.

Abstract

The psychological thoughts of Abubakr Muhammad ibn Zakariyya Al - Razi (854-925 AD) were very important in the development of psychology because Al - Razi (854-925 AD) made an important contribution to understanding the relationship between physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual in humans. Al - Razi (854-925 AD) developed a theory about human personality and temperament and identified environmental factors that influence human development. This study aims to reveal the thoughts of Al - Razi (854-925 AD) about human personality and environmental factors that influence human development, as well as the psychological therapies that are developed. The method in this study is a qualitative method using library research, while the object of this study is psychological thinking from the perspective of Abubakr Muhammad ibn Zakariyya Al - Razi (854-925 AD). Al - Razi's thought (854-925 AD) showed that (1) Al - Razi revealed that human personality consists of four elements: blood, mucus, yellow bile, and black bile. (2) Al - Razi emphasized the importance of seeing human beings as complex beings and that human physical and mental health are interrelated and influence one another. His thoughts and research are very relevant and useful for the development of psychology. (3) In the view of Al - Razi (854-925 AD), holistic and integrated treatment and therapy is the key to achieving optimal mental health. Al - Razi developed various kinds of therapy, including pharmacotherapy, physical therapy, psychological therapy, and spiritual healing.

Abstract

يُعد الدكتور الحاج عبد الكريم أمر الله، المعروف باسم "حاكا"، من أبرز علماء مينانكابو الذين أسهموا في تطوير الفكر الإسلامي ودراسة الحديث النبوي في إندونيسيا. تمحورت جهوده حول تنقية العقيدة من البدع والخرافات، والدعوة إلى العودة إلى القرآن والسنة كمصدرين أصيلين للتشريع والفهم الديني. وتناولت مؤلفاته قضايا متنوعة في العقيدة والفقه والأخلاق، مؤكدًا على مركزية الحديث النبوي في بناء الأحكام الشرعية. اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج التحليلي الوصفي، من خلال تحليل نصوص مختارة من كتب حاكا مثل "سُلَّم الوصول"، و"القول الصحيح"، و"الشرعة"، للكشف عن منهجه في نقد الأحاديث واستخدامها في مواجهة الانحرافات الفكرية والفقهية. وتُبرز نتائج البحث أن حاكا اتبع منهجًا نقديًّا متوازنًا يجمع بين التحري الحديثي والطرح الإصلاحي. وقد بيّنت الدراسة أن لإسهامات حاكا أثرًا ملموسًا في ترسيخ الفكر الإصلاحي، وتأسيس مؤسسات تعليمية دينية ذات توجه حديث، بالإضافة إلى توسيع الروابط العلمية بين إندونيسيا والعالم الإسلامي، خاصة في الحجاز. وتتمثل النتيجة الرئيسة في أن حاكا مثّل نموذجًا متقدّمًا في الجمع بين الأصالة والحداثة في فهم الحديث النبوي وتوظيفه في سياق اجتماعي معاصر.

Abstract

Modernization and materialism increasingly dominate daily life, making it difficult for individuals to find spiritual and emotional balance. This study investigates Muhammad Iqbal's Khudi theory within Islamic psychology and its application to modern psychological issues, particularly OCD. Using a qualitative literature-based approach and Spradley's analytical model, including Domain Analysis, Taxonomy Analysis, Componential Analysis, and Cultural Theme Analysis, the research leads to three key conclusions. First, traditional psychological methods often fall short in addressing the existential and spiritual aspects of mental health crises, especially in disorders like OCD. Second, applying Iqbal's khudi principles-focusing on self-development, self-understanding, and spiritual growth-provides a holistic approach that effectively aids individuals in managing obsessions and compulsive behaviors. Third, incorporating khudi principles such as love, faqr, courage, tolerance, and personal honor into OCD therapy yields significant benefits. Love and personal honor enhance self-esteem and dignity, while faqr reduces reliance on rituals. Courage and tolerance enable individuals to accept imperfections, thereby decreasing anxiety and improving overall emotional and spiritual well-being.
