Kahayan Market in Palangka Raya is more famous as a market for herbal medicines. The benefits of single black garlic are familiar, but for the people of the city of Palangka Raya, the single black garlic is still unfamiliar. Black garlic is known to have higher anticancer content than ordinary garlic, as well as anti-bacterial activity. The many properties possessed by black garlic, provide space for people to consume herbal medicines as well as considerable opportunities to become businesses. Seeing the high enthusiasm of the participants involved in the training activities of making black garlic it can be concluded that the training participants were greatly helped by the existence of this training. Participants can absorb training material and immediately practice making black garlic well. After the training activity, the participants were able to make quality products in the form of black garlic. With the high response from the participants and also the products produced, it can be concluded that the training activities for making black garlic were successfully carried out well. The suggestion of this activity is the need for ongoing monitoring related to the manufacture of Black Garlic going forward, it is necessary to increase the spread of market share targets to increase product sales, as well as the need for broader cross-sector collaboration to increase the productivity of black garlic going forward

Training on making new herbal drinks in containers has been carried out at the Mojolangu Health Center, Malang city. The aim of the training on making new herbal drinks is to provide skills to partners in order to help improve the family economy through the creative economy. So the products produced can be marketed in public facilities such as schools and food stalls and grocery stores. The output of the training activities is to provide solutions to problems faced by the community in partner villages in an integrated manner to increase the economic value of the local community. Besides that, there is a noble value to be conveyed by the author, namely that herbal medicine is better known globally by not reducing its usefulness. Training on making new herbal drinks can be used as product ingredients/industrial development by partners as entrepreneurs. Issuance of certificates given to residents who took part in training as a form of appreciation, they have participated in training in making new herbal drinks, increased knowledge, skills, and confidence of health center cadres in the field of traditional medicine in tackling health in the community quickly and accurately. These community service activities will include experiences that are not only useful for the partner community but also the immediate family and the surrounding environment.

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a disorder caused by the process of atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries which results in disruption of blood flow to the heart muscle. Various attempts have been made to control CHD but have not given optimal results. One of the basic steps in controlling is to do a health screening that is checking blood cholesterol. The purpose of this service activity is to improve the control of CHD risk factors by detecting hypercholesterolemia so that it is expected to reduce the incidence of CHD. The program was carried out in collaboration with Siak District Hospital and Siak branch IDI. Prospective service participants register online and fill in data in the form of the name, gender, age, address, occupation, height, and weight. On the day of the activity, participants were re-registered. Next is a blood cholesterol check and education about hypercholesterolemia and its management. The effort to detect hypercholesterolemia and education in the Sri Inderapura Siak City community was carried out in August 2019 at the Tengku Maharatu Building. Measurement of community cholesterol levels is done by using a digital inspection tool. On examination found that most participants had normal total cholesterol levels which were 55.94%, while hypercholesterolemia was found in 26 participants (44.06%).

The inability to deal with emergency patients is generally caused by failure to recognize risks, late referrals, lack of adequate facilities, and community knowledge and skills in recognizing high-risk situations. Counseling and training are important efforts to improve the knowledge and skills of ordinary people in providing prehospital help. The target output is to increase the knowledge and skills of the fishing community about Basic Life Assistance (BHD); able to know and understand and practice BHD. The implementation method is in the form of giving pre-test questionnaires, providing counseling, conducting post-tests, and BDH training/simulations. The results obtained showed that 30 participants were working as fishermen with all-male sex, participants were able to understand counseling materials about BHD, there was an increase in knowledge between before and after counseling, and participants were able to practice BHD correctly. The conclusion obtained is an increase in community knowledge and the ability to create independence to help by the competencies obtained from counseling and training.

The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Palangka Raya City is also far from the target set by the government. Palangkaraya Health Profile in 2017 from 10 main Puskesmas in Palangka Raya City, the three lowest coverage health centers was Jekan Raya Health Center (2.58%), Menteng Health Center (6.13%), and Kayon Health Center (9.42%). The purpose of this community service is to provide assistance to improve the role of the husband in supporting exclusive breastfeeding in the Jekan Raya Community Health Center in Palangka Raya City. The community service was carried out three times to target pregnant/postpartum mothers and their husbands/families.

The prevalence of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus continues to increase every year. Teenagers today cannot be separated from unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking, eating fast food, online gaming, and lack of physical activity. The data obtained that 60 to 80 smoker students in Ambon State Aliyah Madrasah which is the work area of the Air Besar Health Center. In the Air Besar Health Center in the past year, there were 207 diabetes mellitus sufferers. The expected outcome and outcome of this Community Service is increasing students' knowledge and skills towards diabetes mellitus with CERDIK behavior in schools. The service method is carried out through education and training through demonstrations. Demonstrations were given related to CERDIK behavior such as how to prevent smoking, how to manage stress, and how to read food packaging labels to reduce sugar consumption. So the results and outcomes obtained are increased knowledge and skills of students as participants of CERDIK behavior in schools. The series of community service activities can be carried out properly according to the plan. And it is expected that the person in charge of the UKS will provide other students with the CERDIK module in the school that has been given and the involvement of the Health Center is running the Non-Communicable Disease program in schools as a continuation of community service.

This community service aims to improve the management and governance of the home industry of Familo's Ginger Javanese Sugar through training and mentoring marketing management with e-commerce systems. The program of community service activities is carried out through several stages, namely the preparatory stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results achieved through this activity are participants be able to market their products by e-commerce system optimally.

Tahai Baru Village is one of the villages in Maliku Subdistrict, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan, which received funding for the implementation of the koro sword (cangkordang) cultivation activities through the Joint Family Business Program (KUBE) program (PKH). Training and assistance need to be done considering that the Tahai Baru village community does not yet have the knowledge and skills and do not yet know the technology. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the people of Tahai Baru Village, Maliku District, Pulang Pisau Regency, in seeing alternative uses of natural resources, especially cangkordang, and increasing community income through processing and packaging of processed cangkordang products. Some approaches are carried out through counseling, training, mentoring, exposure of activities, and evaluating the sustainability and success of the program. The results of the activity showed that the community of Tahai Baru village had knowledge and skills about processing cangkordang and marketing several processed cangkordang products. The implementation of the Mitra Desa Development Program is expected to be able to bring a change in the impact on improving the social welfare of KUBE PKH members and establishing a sustainable partnership between Tahai Baru Village and Palangka Raya University.

Natural soap is a soap with basic ingredients using herbal ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil, and milk. MayangSari natural soap is produced by a joint business group in the Pesanggrahan Village, Batu City. The problem of natural soap production in the Mayangsari business group is that there is no selling permit from BPOM, the liquid soap production process has not been maximized where it does not yet know the technique of mixing milk with other ingredients so that it is easily separated, lack of equipment so that production is not optimal and bookkeeping management and marketing are still manual. The aim of the Community Service Program (PUBM) is to improve the quantity and quality of etawa goat milk soap, expand the product marketing network, and improve the group's managerial ability. The method used in the Community Service activities includes 4 stages, namely the practice of production, training, mentoring, and product publication. The result of the implementation of the Community Service program is to increase the productivity of the agroindustry of "Olive Milk" etawa goat milk soap, among others through the practice of natural soap production by utilizing grant equipment from DPPM-UMM.

Waste pickers are the riskiest group for disease transmission through waste, so have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is needed as a tool used by workers to protect themselves against potential dangers and work accidents. Although there are no definitive data on the existence of accidents or occupational diseases in TPS or TPA, the risk of health problems or the spread of disease due to exposure to various types of waste is very possible. Likewise with the waste pickers who are in the Temporary Shelter (TPS) in the Kelurahan Langkai City of Palangka Raya. The purpose of community service activities is to assist in the application of PPE by providing education and socialization about the possibility of potential hazards and workplace accidents as garbage collectors and the risk of exposure to diseases that can be transmitted through waste, training, and demonstrations about the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when work and hand over a set of PPE tools to the scavengers.
