Abstract

The progress and success factors of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) lie in how they utilize accounting information when making business decisions to manage their operations. One form of such accounting information is the financial reports of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of conducting Community Engagement (PkM) in the form of training for digital-based financial report preparation and reporting for MSMEs in Palangka Raya City is to assist MSME entrepreneurs in composing and generating financial reports for their businesses using technological advancements. The community engagement took place at the Central Kalimantan Directorate General of Treasury Office. The training was held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, and was attended by 15 participants, comprising MSME entrepreneurs from Palangka Raya City. The participants were motivated to enhance their financial administration practices, ensuring that they can create well-structured financial reports for their businesses using digital accounting applications. These reports can then be used by the entrepreneurs themselves for making business decisions, as well as by external parties for providing funding or credit to MSME entrepreneurs in Palangka Raya City.

Abstract

Organic waste makes up the lion's share of solid waste generated by human activities. Therefore, organic waste management efforts are needed to help solve it. One of the efforts that can be made is using BSF larvae to decompose organic waste. BSF larvae or maggots have a high protein and fat content, a chewy texture, and the ability to secrete natural enzymes. BSF females can lay up to 400-800 eggs. After 3-4 days, the eggs will hatch into larvae and consume organic waste, including various types of organic waste such as kitchen, fruits, vegetables, fish, urban, human, and animal waste. The flexibility of BSF larval feed facilitates the cultivation process, and it becomes an ideal insect for decomposing organic waste and becomes a business field because of its fat and protein content. The method of decomposing litter using BSF larvae is quite promising because the opportunities are quite promising, but it is still completely manual. Therefore, IoT-based maggot cultivation, an innovation in maggot cultivation, is needed. IoT design is placed at the maggot breeding stage, with optimal temperature, humidity, and light intensity conditions. This breeding ground is equipped with Arduino, humidity, and temperature sensors to regulate and maintain the best state in each larval breeding process until it becomes a pupa. This design is expected to provide convenience and increase the yield of maggot cultivation.

Abstract

Cangkring Village, Krembung, Sidoarjo, is one of the villages that is always affected by floods when the rainy season comes. One method that can be applied to reduce flooding is through biopores. The purpose of making Biopori Holes is to reduce the occurrence of waterlogging in an area and reduce the volume of organic waste that can be used as organic fertilizer. Biopori Infiltration Hole is a water infiltration facility used to overcome flooding by accelerating water absorption into the ground. Increasing the ability of the soil to absorb water can minimize the chance of surface runoff and reduce the potential for flooding. Biopori can also reduce the volume of organic waste that needs to be appropriately managed. Based on the problems in Cangkring Village, the team carried out service through socialization and training in making biopores. The target of this activity is students of grade IV and V SDN II Cangkring, Krembung, Sidoarjo. This activity aims to train students to know how to overcome waterlogging and use organic waste as fertilizer so that students care more about the surrounding environmental conditions.

Abstract

The eating habits of adolescents in Indonesia, such as eating triple-carbo (noodles, rice, fried foods), hobbies of consuming sweet drinks, consuming less vegetables and fruit, and being lazy to exercise, are the causes of high cases of anemia, obesity, and malnutrition in adolescents. Lack of knowledge related to healthy eating patterns or balanced nutrition is the cause. Therefore, the form of health promotion carried out in this service is counseling using interactive lecture and discussion methods. The lecture/counseling is done within 2 hours. The counseling participants were 32 grade 11 students and female students at the Wihdatul Ulum YW-UMI Islamic boarding school in Kab. Gowa. The data was obtained from the pre-test which was conducted, and it was found that there were only 5-7 santri (15.6%-21.9%) female students who knew about anemia and the concept of balanced nutrition. After conducting counseling on the post-test, it was obtained 22-29 (68.8%-90.6%) of the counseling participants had knowledge related to anemia and balanced nutrition. It can be concluded that it is important to carry out counseling on balanced nutrition and anemia on an ongoing basis, in an effort to improve adolescent behavior in preventing anemia and malnutrition through increased knowledge.
