Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the strategies and opportunities and challenges of instructional leadership of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bulukumba Headmaster. Research is a descriptive qualitative research with a pedagogical, sociological and philosophical approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study found that 1) Instructional Leadership of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bulukumba went well but the need for policy innovations is to present the campus in Madrasah internal supervision and training activities, 2) Instructional Madrasah Head Instructional Strategy that is implemented is to maximize supervision of Madrasah scope, training the scope of Madrasas and involving teachers and education staff training/workshops/seminars to improve the quality of education in Madrasas in quantity but not yet maximally in quality because internal training and supervision has not been maximized because it has not involved experts in their fields, namely the campus, 3) Opportunities and challenges of the Head Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bulukumba in implementing instructional leadership are 1) Opportunities: (a) Maximum support for teaching and educational staff in order to improve the quality of education, (b) Madrasas have partners who can work together to To improve the quality of education in Madukah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bulukumba, (c) Budgeting for increasing human resource competency in Madarasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bulukumba. 2) Challenges: (a) The portion of the budget is divided so that it cannot maximally develop and improve HR in Madrasahs, (b) Mitra MadarasahAliyah Negeri 2 Bulukumba has not formed a partnership with the campus which is considered to be able to improve the quality of human resources, (c) Educators and education staff have not maximally made individual efforts to improve their performance.

Abstract

This study will discuss stakeholder’s satisfaction with the performance of KI/MPI graduates at the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar. Then try to find out the criteria that stakeholders want. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study were MPI program graduates who were in the district. Jeneponto, Kab. Selayar, Kab. Pinrang, Makassar City, Kab. Barru, and the City of Parepare. The technique used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale instrument. The analysis used is descriptive quantitative. The criteria that the stakeholders want for graduates of the Islamic Education Management Study Program (MPI), Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Alauddin Makassar are: (1) responsibility; (2) productive; (3) target orientation or results; (4) high motivation; (5) patient and work hard; (6) think and act positively; and (7) maintain relationships with peers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth about the application of Toraja cultural values in learning Indonesian language in North Toraja District. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. In the data collection, researchers directly involved observing the phenomena that occur in Indonesian language learning in North Toraja State Senior High School. Technique of data collection is done by observation, recording, documentation, and interview. Data analysis was done by data flow model analysis technique.The results showed that the application of Toraja cultural values in Indonesian language learning in SMA Toraja has built the values of Kasiuluran (kinship), tengko situru '(togetherness), kabassaran (work ethic), sikamali' (love), kapa ' patonganan (religious), siri '(shame), and the value menghangkegi'to mendadianna (devotion children to parents).

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in teacher competency at SMPN 2 Tempuran, Kabupaten Karawang in compiling plans for implementing learning through IHT activities. The subjects of this study were all PNS teacher in SMPN 2 Tempuran Kabupaten Karawang. This research is School Action Research (PTS) which consists of two cycles, each cycle covering the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data analysis technique used is descriptive comparative. From the results of the study it can be concluded that: IHT can improve the professional competence of teachers at SMPN 2 Tempuran in preparing lesson plans. This is indicated by the increasing professional competence of teachers from the preparation stage to the end of Cycle II.

Abstract

Planning basically determines the activities to be carried out in the future. Tihis activity is itended to regulate various resources so that the results achieved are as expected. Pallning management is an act of determining in advance what will be done, how to do it, what to do and who does it. Palnning is often also a bridge that connect gaps or gaps between the present state and the conditions expected to occur in the future. Although the right state of the future si difficult to predict, because many factors beyond human mastery have an affevt on the paln. But, without planning we will surrender the situation in the future to a coincidence.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the work environment influences, work motivation on the performance of the bank employees. The influential subjects in this study were the bank employees with 70 respondents. By collecting interview data, distributing questionnaires, as well as literature study which is also equipped with related tests, namely: validity tests, reliability tests, hypothesis test, and coefficient of determination. And calculated using SPSS 23 aims to get accurate results in order to draw conclusions whether this influence is a positive or negative influence on employee performance at the branch of PT BNI, Tbk. Medan. So it can be concluded that the work environment with work motivation does or does not significantly affect the performance of  employees at branch of PT BNI, Tbk. Medan.

Abstract

School management with a strategic plan is considered successful if it is able to raise the quality of processes and products of quality education and learning. Therefore the ability of school principals, school personnel and others to implement a strategy within a school is very important, in relation to the ability of the principal as a leader and teachers as professionals responsible for the progress of learners. The principal is required to have the ability to manage and formulate the development of school vision, mission and objectives and to identify school programs that can support the learning process including curriculum, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, provision of guidance for educators, and dynamic active participation of parents, including institutions / institutions that have concern for education.

Abstract

Field Experience Practices (PPL) in schools is carried out so that students train themselves before becoming real educators. However, what happens in the field is actually a lot of things that make students not maximal in mastering basic teaching skills. The data was obtained through observation and interviews with students. Some of the problems faced by PPL students are from themselves because they lack training and lack of confidence; student not ready to learn, do not ignore the arrival of students, late in class, do other activities, feel bored, and out of class when learning takes place; the time of learning that is not well controlled, subject is not mastered, as well as inadequate learning tools and media. Based on the problems they faced, students should be given special guidance with controlled exercises or microteaching, so that students can reduce errors that can occur when directly involved in the field.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the conception of Islamic Education from the perfectives of Al-Ghazali. This article used library research to review Al-Ghazali’s thoughts and conceptions on Islamic Education. The results shows that Al-Ghazali had a thorough understanding of Islamic Education. This paper also reveals his thoughts and understanding on education management, managing learners, and managing curriculum. This paper concludes that education according to Al-Ghazali is the process of humanizing humanity until the end of their lives towards a self-approach to God so that they become perfect human beings. Al-Ghazali describes the things that must be fulfilled by students in the learning process: learning is a soul process, requires concentration, must be based on the attitude of tawadhu'. Regarding a curriculum, he paid special attention to the religious and ethical sciences and was based on two tendencies: religious tendencies and Sufism; and pragmatic tendencies.
