Abstract

The problems faced by parents towards their children who have difficulty in providing an understanding of learning in school, so there must be an effort, one of which is through the Sunday Teaching Program initiated by the Community Reading Gardens to improve learning skills in reading, writing and counting (Calistunng). The purpose of this research is to find out the efforts of Taman Bacaan Masyarakat in improving children's literacy and numeracy. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through observation interviews and documentation. The results of the field findings that the Baitul Mu'minin Community Reading Garden (TBM) in an effort to improve reading, writing and counting skills (calistung) in children through the Sunday Teaching program carry out interesting activities ranging from: (1) activities to read books one sheet per session, (2) free tutoring, (3) attracting children's interest in reading by reading books together, then the book is read by the tutor, (4) creating a comfortable and pleasant learning atmosphere, through the use of learning media, (5) as well as a varied collection of reading books so as to attract children's interest in learning. TBM Baitul Mu'minin handles learning activities with a playful approach and becomes an alternative choice for the community, especially parents, to help their children improve their learning skills. In conclusion, the efforts of community reading garden in improving calistung, the results can help children improve their ability to read, write, count better and increase.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the picture and also the relationship between the skills of applying variations in tutor teaching and the learning motivation of residents studying Package C at SPNF SKB Kota Pariaman. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach. The population of this research is all students registered in the package C pursuit program at SPNF SKB Kota Pariaman for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely 72 people. The sampling technique in this research was carried out using cluster random sampling, so the total sample that the researchers took was 50 residents studying package C at SPNF Kota Pariaman. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire format and a list of statements as a data collection tool, the data analysis technique uses percentages to find correlations using the product moment formula. The results of this research are: 1.) Skills in applying variations in tutor teaching to students studying at SPNF SKB Kota Pariaman are classified as less than optimal, 2.) Motivation of students studying Package C at SPNF SKB Kota Pariaman is classified as less than optimal and 3.) There is a significant relationship between skills in applying variations in tutor teaching with learning motivation for residents studying Package C at SPNF SKB Kota Pariaman.Keywords: Variasi Mengajar, Motivasi Belajar, SKB.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning activity of the learning communities in participating in the learning process of the PKBM Uhibbu Ummi Kab. Lima Puluh Kota. Researchers suspect that the cause of the low learning activity in learning communities may be due to the lack of application of the andragogic approach by tutors. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the use of andragogic approaches, descriptions of active learning, and the relationship between the two. This type of study is a correlative descriptive quantitative research. The research population was students of class XI and XII Package C who met the criteria of 37 people and the entire population was used as respondents. The data collection technique is survey-based using survey-based data collection tools. The data analysis method in this study uses the formula for percent and product moments. Results of this study indicate that: (1) the use of the tutor's andragogy approach is still low, (2) community learning activities are still low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between the tutor's andragogy approach and the learning activities of Package C residents at PKBM Uhibbu Ummi Kab. Lima Puluh Kota.

Abstract

In practice, Pancasila and Citizenship education has a large role in shaping the character of students in Indonesia. However, in its implementation problems are often found that need to be resolved seriously in order to increase the effectiveness of learning. Due to the various problems above, researchers feel the need to research more deeply into the Problems of Educational Learning Practices. The aim of this research is to find out direct problems in the field using literature studies in Indonesia so that these problems can find the right solution to improve the quality and relevance of education. . This research was obtained from literature observations through national article findings. The scope of this research study is in the form of problems found in the implementation of Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning in various regions in Indonesia. This research produced findings in the form of 4 problematic topics in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education, namely Learning Materials, Learning Methods, Teacher and Student Readiness.

Abstract

This service aims to assist teachers in developing an independent curriculum that integrates local wisdom in early childhood learning activities to make it more enjoyable in the Tilatang Kamang sub-district, Agam Regency. The method used is 1) creating a guidebook that can be used by PAUD teachers in developing the curriculum, the guide is equipped with identifying local local wisdom topics, integrating local wisdom-based topics into independent curriculum topics, teaching modules, lesson plans, and formats. assessments that can be used, 2) providing in-depth study of material related to local wisdom and the independent curriculum, 3) assisting teachers in developing more fun and innovative media and learning tools based on local wisdom, 4) assisting teachers in creating learning activities based on the Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile Project ( P5) which is integrated into local wisdom. The results of the implementation of this assistance involved 20 TK/RA in Tilatang Kamang District with 21 representatives from each school. After participating in mentoring activities, it was seen that teachers already understood the development of an independent curriculum based on local wisdom. This was shown by an increase in teachers' understanding of integrating local culture into topics in the independent curriculum, creating teaching modules and lesson plans as well as implementing the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5 ) with more programmed and contextual activities.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low entrepreneurial behavior of cosmetology training graduates at the Keja Rane Training Institute, which is suspected because the implementation of the training at the Keja Rane Training Institute in Padang City is not good. This study aims to reveal the description of the implementation of the training in the tying training at LPK Rane, the entrepreneurial behavior of graduates of the cosmetology training at LPK Rane, and reveal the relationship between the implementation of the training and the entrepreneurial behavior of training graduates at LPK Rane, Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The population in this study were 32 cosmetology training graduates, while the sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique of 78%, namely 25 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. And the technique used in data analysis is the percentage formula and the spearman rho formula correlation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the implementation of training in cosmetology training at LPK Rane is still relatively low, 2) entrepreneurial behavior of training graduates is low, 3) there is a significant relationship between training implementation and entrepreneurial behavior of cosmetology training graduates at LPK Rane Padang city.Keywords: Implementation Of Training, Entrepreneurial Behavior

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of creativity of young children in the Sago Salido district, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is correlational using a quantitative approach. The population of this study was 117 parents who had children aged 5-6 years by taking a sample of 30% of the population, namely 35 people using the Disproportionate Cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage formulas and product moment formulas. The results of the research show that: (1) The family support system for children at home in Nagari Sago Salido can be said to be not good, this can be seen from the percentage of respondents' answers dominated by rare answers, (2) Early childhood creativity in Nagari Sago can be said to be not good This can be seen from the percentage of respondents' answers dominated by rare answers. (3) There is a significant relationship between the family support system and early childhood creativity in Nagari Sago Salido, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This can be seen from the results of the analysis using the product moment formula, that the value r = 0.974 > 0.334. So the researcher's hypothesis was accepted.Keywords: Family support system, early childhood creativity

Abstract

This research is motivated by success of embroidery skills training program which was marked by the success of the embroidery training participants at the UPTD Social Institution for Youth Development in Padang Pnajang City who were absorbed in the world of work market. This is allegedly due to the management of the implementation of the training program. This study aims to describe the management of the embroidery skills program in terms of planning, evaluation and implementation. It is type research a quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were embroidery training participants at the UPTD Center for Community Development in Padang Panjang City. The samples taken were 50 training participants. The collection data technique used by researchers is a questionnaire. Data collection instrument used by researchers is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of the research show that the management of embroidery skills Training Program at the UPTD Social Institution for Bina Adolescents in Padang Panjang City, from a planning perspective, was categorized as a planned program according to needs. Second, in terms of implementation, the material provided is categorized as needed. Third, in terms of evaluation, it is categorized as training participants who are able to understand the theory and practice provided well.Keywords: Program management, training institusion

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing dressmaking at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan. One reason is the low family support. The purpose of this study was to describe family support and interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing dresses at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan and to see the relationship between family support and interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing dresses at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The population of this study were 50 PKW graduates sewing fashion at LKP Kasih Bunda in 2021. The sample of this study consisted of 35 people using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques and tools using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage and product moments. The results of this study indicate that (1) the support provided by the family is low; (2) the interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates in sewing fashion at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan is low; and (3) there is a significant relationship between family support and the interest in entrepreneurship for PKW graduates sewing fashion at LKP Kasih Bunda Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at KB Jannatul Na'iem Kampung Padang Pariaman. Children's low cognitive abilities are caused by several factors, namely lack of facilities, biological maturity, physical activity, environmental interactions, balance of new information. Of these many factors, less attractive learning facilities/media is the main factor. This research aims to determine the increase in cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years using papinka media at KB Jannatul Na'iem. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. The research design used was pretest and posttest. The population of this study was 21 children. The research sample consisted of 21 children taken from the entire population. Purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used the T test. The results of the research can be concluded (1) before taking action (pretest), children's cognitive abilities were grouped into early development stages, (2) after taking action (posttest), children's cognitive abilities were grouped into developing stages according to expectations . and (3) there is a significant influence of papinka media in improving the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years.
