Abstract

Penelitian di latarbelakangi oleh keterampilan bahasa Indonesia anak usia dini dikategorikan rendah. Hal ini diduga karena penggunaan bahasa daerah yang masih kental, sehingga budaya komunikasi lingkungan sosial kurang mendukung pada anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran budaya komunikasi berbahasa indonesia di lingkungan sosial dan keterampilan bahasa Indonesia anak usia dini di Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tebo serta membuktikan apakah ada hubungan signifikan antara budaya komunikasi berbahasa indonesia di lingkungan sosial dan keterampilan bahasa indonesia anak usia dini Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tebo. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang mempunyai anak usia dini usia 4-6 tahun, berdomisili di RW 03 Bogorejo Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tebo yang berjumlah 36 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik area random sampling, sehingga jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 28 orang tua. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan spearman rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) budaya komunikasi berbahasa indonesia di lingkungan sosial di Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi kabupaten tebo belum terlaksana dengan baik,(2) keterampilan bahasa indonesia anak usia dini di Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tebo masih kurang berkembang, (3) terdapat hubungan signifikan antara budaya komunikasi berbahasa indonesia di lingkungan sosial dengan keterampilan bahasa indonesia anak usia dini Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tebo.

Abstract

The low level of cultural literacy among adolescents in Padang City is an issue that needs attention, especially because of the lack of understanding and appreciation of local cultural values. Tanah Ombak Reading Park as one of the community reading facilities has a strategic role in improving adolescent cultural literacy. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of community reading facilities at Tanah Ombak Reading Park and the level of adolescent cultural literacy. This study uses a quantitative, correlative approach method. The research data were obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 20 adolescent respondents who routinely accessed the reading facilities at Tanah Ombak Reading Park in Padang City. The results of the analysis showed a significant relationship between the use of community reading facilities and adolescent cultural literacy. The study found that the frequency of adolescents in utilizing reading parks was relatively low. The frequency of adolescents utilizing reading facilities is directly proportional to their cultural literacy, especially kato nan ampek. This finding confirms that community reading facilities have an important contribution in supporting the development of cultural literacy and encouraging active involvement of adolescents in preserving local culture.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of bag knitting training participants, this was thought to be influenced by the delivery of material from the training instructor. The aim of this research activity is to find out: the delivery of material by the instructor, the learning outcomes of bag knitting training participants, and the relationship between the delivery of material by the instructor and the learning outcomes of bag knitting training participants at PKK Nagari Campago. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The research population was 25 participants who took part in bag knitting training activities. Meanwhile, the research sample was taken using a total sampling technique, namely 25 people. The research instrument for collecting data uses a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage and rank order formulas. The research results show that: (1) The delivery of material by the instructor is categorized as not optimal; (2) The learning outcomes of bag knitting training participants are categorized as low; and (3) There is a significant relationship between the delivery of material by the instructor and the learning outcomes of bag knitting training participants at PKK Nagari Campago. Research suggestions for bag knitting training instructors are to optimize the delivery of material by studying several methods in delivering material and for further researchers it is recommended to make a more in-depth theoretical study of this research, namely regarding the delivery of material by instructors with the learning outcomes of training participants.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an extracurricular program, the Madrasah Security Patrol Program (PKM), which is still relatively new and has good education at MAN 2 Padang City and has a myriad of achievements. This study aims to determine the management function of the extracurricular program, the Madrasah Security Patrol Program (PKM). This study uses a qualitative approach, with a case study research method. This research took place at MAN 2 Padang City, located at Jalan Gajah Mada No. 100 Padang, Padang Utara District, Gunung Pangilun Village, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The researcher conducted a study on how to manage the extracurricular security patrol (PKM) at MAN 2 Padang City. The sources of this research were obtained from research subjects and research informants, namely the research subjects were the researchers themselves and the research informants were the supervisors, trainers, and members of the PKM extracurricular. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique used triangulation techniques (methods, techniques, and sources). The results of the study show (1) the form of extracurricular planning for this PKM program is determining the organization's goals, determining what materials will be given to extracurricular members during one semester and the training schedule. (2) the form of organization in this PKM extracurricular is the formation of an organizational structure, determining the team leader or danton and forming small groups to practice different variations of movements. (3) providing motivation in this PKM extracurricular is providing words of advice, support, and encouragement to members each and after training. (4) supervision of PKM extracurricular activities is carried out directly. This supervision means that the instructor and trainer are directly involved in every activity that takes place. (5) there are several aspects that are assessed in this PKM extracurricular, namely: Attendance, Mastery of Material, Practice, Attitude, and Solidarity. The results of the assessment of these aspects will be included in the report card grades of extracurricular members.

Abstract

Reading interest among primary school-aged children has become a critical issue in the field of education in Indonesia. One initiative aimed at fostering children's reading interest is through Community Reading Gardens (Taman Bacaan Masyarakat, TBM). This study seeks to explore the efforts of TBM Al-Istiqomah in enhancing children's reading interest in Cileunyi Kulon Village, Bandung Regency. The research employs a qualitative approach, conducted at TBM Al-Istiqomah, Cileunyi Kulon, Bandung Regency, from January to April 2023. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that TBM Al-Istiqomah has implemented various strategies to improve reading interest among primary school-aged children, such as providing engaging reading materials, organizing appealing and interactive literacy activities, and collaborating with PKBM institutions and other non-formal educational organizations. However, several supporting factors and challenges have been identified in these efforts, including limited funding for development, a lack of human resources, and difficulties in establishing partnerships with local government authorities

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of spiritual discipline at TPQ Surau Tabek Payolansek. This is thought to be caused by several factors, one of which is a less supportive social environment. This research aims to see a picture of the social environment, a picture of santri discipline, and to see the relationship between the social environment and santri discipline at TPQ Surau Tabek Payolansek. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. The population of this study was 31 students at TPQ Surau Tabek Payolansek, while the sample was 24 students. Samples were taken using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and the Spearman Rho formula to see the relationship between the two variables. The results of this research show that: 1) The description of the social environment at TPQ Surau Tabek Payolansek Payakumbuh City is categorized as poor. 2) The description of student discipline at TPQ Surau Tabek Payolansek Payakumbuh City is categorized as low. 3) There is a very significant relationship between the social environment and the discipline of students at TPQ Surau Tabek Payolansek Payakumbuh City.

Abstract

The main problem studied in this research is the lathe machine training process, because this research wants to get various facts about the lathe machine training process at the UPTD Job Training Center (BLK), both in terms of objectives, processes, training methods, skills, evaluation and training results, The author chose to use a qualitative research method so that the research could be more precisely directed according to the research objective, namely finding out how the lathe machine training process is at the UPTD Vocational Training Center (BLK) Karawang, so that this research is more appropriate using qualitative research using the case study method which was carried out with clear facts. Obtained in the field. The results of this research are (1) the lathe machine training process equips the trainees with practical skills in operating a lathe machine, so that they are able to do the work more efficiently and accurately (2) the skills of the trainees after attending lathe machine training at the UPTD Job Training Center (BLK ) Karawang has succeeded in increasing knowledge of how to operate a lathe machine safely and efficiently, lathe machine training participants can also increase the specified dimensions and tolerances, set the machine correctly, including speed and cutting depth, understand safety procedures when operating the machine which also shows their understanding of the risks involved.

Abstract

Community empowerment is one of the efforts that can be done by providing resources, opportunities, knowledge, and skills to the community to improve their ability to become independent and prosperous. In an effort to empower the community, it can be done by holding programs that aim to empower the community. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the stages, facilities, community participation, and program impacts of the community empowerment program carried out by the Pesona Sumpur Tourism Awareness Group in Kampuang Minang Tourism Village Nagari Sumpur West Sumatra. So that it can be known regarding what empowerment programs are implemented. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study method, data obtained through observation, interviews, and document review. The subjects in this study were 4 people and the research informants totaled 4 people.The results show that the stages of the community empowerment program include identification of needs, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The programs implemented include river tubing training, article writing training, traditional speech training. This program has a positive impact in the form of increased income, cultural preservation, and additional knowledge and skills. Community participation is carried out using the CBT or Community Based Tourism approach which aims to enable the community to participate in all forms of activities carried out. In addition to community participation, support from various parties is the key to success so that every activity carried out in various community empowerment programs can be carried out properly.

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of low learning achievement of grade I elementary school children at SD Negeri Soka. This is thought to be due to the lack of social encouragement given by parents to learners. This study aims to reveal learning achievement in terms of parental social support in elementary school students. The population of this study amounted to 138 people, the sample selected was 19 people with cluster random sampling. This type of research data uses quantitative research with a correlational design. The correlational method is one of the various quantitative research methods used in evaluation. Especially to detect the extent to which variation in a factor is related to variation in one or more other factors based on correlation coefficients. The data collection technique for parental attention uses the questionnaire method. Data on student learning achievement using the documentation method by looking at the summative value of the end of semester II of Pancasila education subjects. After the data is collected, data analysis is then carried out using Pearson's product moment correlation. Hypothesis testing using Pearson's product moment correlation aims to prove that the research hypothesis that has been proposed is accepted or rejected. Data analysis was carried out using computer assistance with the SPSS version 26 program. The results of the person product moment correlation analysis showed that the relationship between parental social support and learning achievement of Grade I students of SD Negeri Soka Kapanewon Tempel obtained a correlation of 0.844, which means that the level of relationship between the two variables is classified as very strong because it is in the range of 0.80 - 1.000. Keywords: Parental Social Support and Learning Achievement

Abstract

The family environment has an important role in supporting children's development, especially in the initial education provided by parents. Based on Vygotsky's sociocultural theory, children's development is influenced by social interactions and the culture around them, making learning a social process. This research aims to describe the role of the family in early childhood learning in Talunpring Hamlet, Lamongan Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Informants were determined using purposive sampling, consisting of 5 key informants and 2 supporters. Data validity is carried out through extended observations, increased persistence, and triangulation. Data analysis is carried out through reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the family has played a role as a guide and motivator, especially in learning through play and developing character values, even though the approach used is still simple. However, families do not fully understand the principles of learning that are oriented towards child development, so the approach applied is not appropriate to the child's development stage. Apart from that, the role of the family as a facilitator in providing learning facilities and resources at home is still limited
