Abstract

This study focuses on the landscape architecture of culinary tourism objects in the paddy field area of Desa Kota Pari. The research aims to explore the potential of utilizing the natural and cultural elements of the site to create attractive and sustainable culinary tourism experiences.The study follows a qualitative descriptive approach, starting with an inventory stage to collect data on the existing conditions of the research location. Information about the unique motifs and ornaments of Desa Kota Pari is also gathered for the design and development concepts.The collected data is analyzed, considering physical and environmental, demographic, economic, and cultural aspects. From this analysis, various design and development concepts are formulated. These concepts include spatial zoning, tourist facilities, hardscape and softscape elements reflecting the local culture.Using 2D CAD applications and Photoshop, a site plan is created for the Pematang Sawah area, complemented by 3D visualizations. The research findings emphasize the potential of the paddy field area as a culinary tourism destination. By integrating the natural and cultural elements into the design, a sustainable and engaging experience can be created.

Abstract

The world of work is currently growing so that it has an impact on the skills needed to achieve a better career. Every college graduate is expected to excel and be skilled at work and have full competence within himself. An educational institution becomes a main pillar in producing competent graduates who have hard skills, soft skills. This study seeks to determine the impact of hard skills and soft skills on the work readiness of students majoring in Digital Business at STMIK Pelita Nusantara. Forty students were surveyed using a non-probability sampling technique and a questionnaire.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain and analyze the effect of community behavior on the mangrove natural resource management strategy in Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedaga Province. Conservation efforts on mangrove forests have significant significance in relation to the function and role of mangroves, as they comprise physical, biological, ecological, and socioeconomic roles. The management of mangrove forests in multiple regions has had a substantial impact on the ecosystem. As a result, mangrove forest areas must be investigated in detail, in depth, and as soon as possible, as it is common knowledge that various development activities conducted in mangrove forest areas have resulted in a number of quite complex and concerning problems. According to the findings of this study, community behavior has a positive and significant impact on policy strategies. Positive and significant effects of community behavior on the management of mangrove forest natural resources. The management of mangrove natural resources is impacted positively and significantly by policy strategies. Through Policy Strategies, community behavior has a positive and significant impact on the management of mangrove forest natural resources. On the basis of the findings of this study, it is anticipated that residents of Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency will be able to increase the income of low-income residents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the influence of commitment and organizational culture on the career development of village officials in Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The specific target in this research is how to improve the career development of Village Officials so that services to the community are maximized.The hypothesis in this study is to look at the influence of commitment and organizational culture on career development. MThe method that will be used in this study is a quantitative method where the quantitative method in this study is related to data that describes the state of village officials. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis with statistical testing using SPSS v. 25. The results of the study show that partially and simultaneously the variables of commitment and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on the career development of village officials in Kota Pari Village.

Abstract

The right learning model is one of the keys to success in learning. The integrative thematic learning model is a model that combines two subjects where in this service activity was carried out the preparation of physical subjects for language teaching, especially foreign languages such as English. This service activity was carried out with the aim of introducing an integrative thematic learning model of physical education in learning English vocabulary so that students can improve their mastery of the language. Located at SD Adhyaksa Medan as an activity partner, assisting in learning English through sports education. The participants in this activity were students who were at the elementary level and carried out using an integrative thematic learning model. Before and after the implementation of the activity, interviews were conducted and the results showed an increase in the participants' interest in learning English vocabulary after being combined with physical activity. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation include the expectation that teachers can develop this learning model in other subjects for variations in teaching.

Abstract

There is a change in how teachers teach and students learn, which was initially done face-to-face at school, but now can be done online. The use of interactive learning media still needs to be improved due to the need for mastery of technology owned by teachers. Many teachers still need to understand practical learning applications for teachers and students. Students become less interested in participating in distance learning activities due to the limited use of various applications. So PKM activities were held as training workshops for making Edpuzzle-based teaching materials. The workshop was held for four days and involved 236 participants from various regions in Indonesia, such as Samarinda, Pekanbaru, and several areas in West Java. The activity method is divided into three steps: 1) preparation, 2) implementation, and 3) evaluation. Evaluation results based on questionnaire data show that 71% of teachers are assisted in monitoring student learning progress, and teachers can implement their work into learning.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of individual investors' investment motivation and knowledge on their desire to invest in the Indonesia Stock Exchange among residents of Kota Pari Village, PantaiCermin District, SerdangBedagai Regency. The willingness to do something is bolstered by the presence of interest, but the incentive to really do it is inextricable from the two. Knowledge is essential for taking action, as ignorance can lead to disastrous consequences. The community's lack of interest stems from their inability to learn about investment opportunities. Realizing how much room there is for growth in Indonesia's economy. The Indonesia Stock Exchange has provided numerous educational and advisory programs for investors. Research submissions showing how investment knowledge and motivation can sway people's interest in investing. The residents of Kota Pari Village in Pantai Cermin District in Serdang Bedagai Regency are hoping to raise their standard of living thanks to the findings of this study. Investing motivation and knowledge were found to have a favorable and significant effect on people's interest in investing in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability of students at MAN 3 Langkat Plus Keterampilan in speaking English. The purpose of this study is to improve speaking skills by using Comics Strips media in learning English. This research method uses Class Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in several stages, namely: (1) planning (planning), (2) action (acting), (3) observation (observing), (4) reflection (reflecting). The subjects of this study were students of Class XI MAN 3 Langkat Plus Keterampilan with a total of 35 people. The instruments used were observation sheets to observe student activities, questionnaires and speaking assessment sheets to measure learning achievement. Based on the results obtained during the implementation of classroom action research, it shows that comic strip media is very relevant and very well used in learning English to improve speaking skills. In the first cycle, the average speaking ability score was 75.55, then in the second cycle, it was 85.00. In cycle III the average value of students' speaking ability reached 90.00 to 92.00. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of comic strips learning media in learning English can improve students' speaking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the development of creative industries and the management of quality human resources in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency in order to achieve sustainable economic growth. The specific objective of this study is to examine how the community, as human resources, can have a great deal of creativity and innovation in developing village potential, thereby contributing to the community's economy. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to evaluate the data. This study will employ a quantitative method related to data that characterizes the people of Pematang Serai Village, particularly household industry players involved in income growth. The study's findings indicate that the Creative Industry and Human Resource Management variables have a positive and statistically significant influence on the achievement of sustainable economic development. Abstract

The research team at Kota Pari Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency set out to answer the question, "How effective and efficient are the communities of Kota Pari Village in achieving sustainable economic growth and creative industries?" The primary objective of this study is to compare the creative industry's financial health before and after the implementation of community effectiveness and efficiency strategies to boost revenues. The research hypothesis is that the success and efficiency of the Kota Pari Village community contributes to the development of both the creative industries and long-term economic growth. The researcher's planned methodology.This technique is a quantitative one; specifically, it pertains to information describing the residents of Kota Pari Village, and more specifically, the homemakers there, and how they might improve their productivity and, ultimately, their earnings from the home-based business sector.Multiple linear regression analysis and statistical testing in SPSS version 25 were used to analyze the data. The study found that Efficiency (X1) significantly and positively affected Long-Term Economic Development (Y). Sustainable Economic Growth (Y) is positively and significantly affected by efficiency. The creative industries (Y2) benefit greatly from sustained economic growth (Y). The Creative Sector (Y2) benefits greatly from effectiveness (X1). The Creative Industries (Y2) benefit greatly from increased efficiency.
