Abstract

The teacher mentoring activity carried out through the Community Service Program (PkM) integrated with the Student Community Service (KKN) at SDN Pluit 03 primarily aims to support digital transformation in elementary education as a strategic effort to enhance school performance. This transformation is implemented by providing broad access to digital learning resources that can be accessed anytime and anywhere, thereby overcoming spatial and temporal limitations in the learning process. Additionally, the activity is specifically designed to strengthen the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, with an emphasis on project-based learning that promotes independent learning and knowledge exploration. In this context, strengthening digital literacy among teachers and students becomes crucial—not only to improve technological capabilities but also to broaden the range of richer and more varied teaching materials. The benefits of this empowerment initiative include improved teacher competencies in utilizing various digital tools and online learning resources, which in turn support the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Besides offering practical insights into digitalization, the program also fosters new habits among teachers to be more adaptive and open to the use of educational technology, enabling them to design lessons that are more responsive to student needs while remaining aligned with the flexible and student-centered principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The implementation of the PkM KKN program at SDN Pondok Kopi 03 aims to empower elementary school teachers in realizing digitally literate schools through the use of digital games as a means to build literacy collaboratively with Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This approach is designed to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and student engagement by creating a more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning environment, while also promoting the development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. The main objective of this activity is to strengthen teachers' pedagogical capacity, digital literacy, and creativity through an understanding of educational game design principles, selecting curriculum-relevant games, and integrating them into effective teaching strategies. The results of this program demonstrate improvements in teacher competence in creating innovative and adaptive learning environments, which are expected to contribute significantly to the sustainable improvement of the quality of primary education. The collaboration between schools and higher education institutions has fostered a supportive educational ecosystem and strengthened the roles of both parties in developing learning innovations. The application of educational technology through this approach has also fostered greater confidence among teachers in using digital tools in the classroom.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve operational and financial efficiency for MSMEs engaged in animal health services, namely Zenith Animal Care Animal Clinic, located in Pekanbaru. Previously, this clinic did not have a digital system for managing patients' medical records, cashier applications, and modern payment systems, which resulted in low service efficiency and accountability of financial transactions. In this activity, the service team provided education and assistance in the use of the SIMRAISHA application as a digital medical record system and integrated cashier system, as well as implementing QRIS-based digital payment methods. In addition, the team also helps compile price lists for clinic services so that price information is more transparent and easily accessible to customers. The method of the activity was carried out through a participatory approach, direct training, and evaluation of implementation results for two weeks. The results of this activity show that the partners are able to operate both applications independently, as well as an increase in transaction time efficiency and ease of tracking veterinary medical records. The use of QRIS also provides ease of payment for customers who were previously limited to cash methods. This activity shows the importance of education on the digitization of operational systems for health service MSMEs as part of strengthening the digital economy

Abstract

Pengampon Village in Kabuh District, Jombang Regency, relies heavily on agriculture as the primary source of income. This dependence makes the local economy highly vulnerable to weather changes, commodity price fluctuations, and land conversion. To mitigate these risks, a 3D schematic design for a Public Open Space (POS) was developed as an alternative solution to promote rural economic diversification. The POS is envisioned not only as a social interaction space but also as a hub for economic and creative activities, such as local product promotion, cultural events, and collaboration among small businesses (SMEs). The planning process included site surveys, field observations, focus group discussions (FGDs) with village authorities, and participatory design finalization. The resulting 3D design provides a clear visual representation to ensure comprehensive understanding among stakeholders. It is expected that the designed POS will serve as a catalyst for sustainable community-based economic development, ultimately improving the welfare of Pengampon Village residents in the long term.

Abstract

Desa Pengampon merupakan desa yang berada di Kabupaten Jombang, tepatnya berada di Kecamatan Kabuh. Desa Pengampon dikelilingi oleh lahan pertanian yang subur, sehingga mayoritas penduduknya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani. Dimana rata-rata setiap masyarakat desa dapat memanen padi 2-3 kali dalam setahun. Pasca panen terdapat banyak sisa dari penggilingan berupa limbah kulit padi (sekam) yang belum dmanfaatkan secara maksimal. Berdasrkan hasil obesrvasi ditemukan 3 kesenjangan pada masyarakat desa pengampon, antara lain: minimya potensi ekonomi lokal, banyaknya limbah sekam padi yang belum bisa dimanfaatkan secara maksimal, dan minimnya pengetahuan pengolahan limbah disekitar. Sehingga melalui ekgiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa Universitas Darul Ulum Jombang mengadakan pelatihan Pemanfaatan Limbah Sekam Padi Menjadi Nilai Ekonomi Baru Masyarakat di Desa Pengampon. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode persiapan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Program ini menghasilkan peserta mempunyai pemahaman bahwa limbah sekam padi dapat diubah menjadi produk yang mempunyai nilai jual dan produk khas lokal desa pengampon, peserta pelatihan mempunyai kompetensi baru dalam mengolah limbah sekam padi menjadi media taman, briket aroma terapi, dan pupuk organic cair (POC).

Abstract

Mathematics is a learning material at the level of education that cannot be separated from human life activities, both personal activities and social activities, personal activities such as the need to see the clock or cook cakes. While social activities such as buying and selling transactions where buyers and sellers must have the same ability in calculating addition and subtraction, integer subtraction operations have been taught since grade II in elementary school. However, during the learning process it is not as easy as imagined, there are things that hinder learning objectives from being achieved, such as material that is difficult to understand because the teacher's explanation does not reach the students. This requires teachers to be able to solve problems in class, so that the teacher's explanation can be understood by students, a technique is needed to teach subtraction material, this technique separates 1 number from a number which is then stored, and at the end of the subtraction process the number 1 will be added back. With the socialization of this storage technique, it is hoped that it will make it easier for students to learn subtraction material.

Abstract

Many elderly people experience stress because of the problems they face, family problems, especially children who lack attention, lack patience When taking care of them, there are even those who do not care about the absence of guidance in old age, causing them to have a minimal understanding in the field of religion in the community of RW 02 Karangrejo Wonokromo Surabaya there are some people who can recite and lack understanding about religion Method: lecture and question and answer methodto find out the level of knowledge of the respondent can be found by conducting a pre-test in the form of a questionnaire that will be filled out by the respondent to find out the level of knowledge of the respondent about the Stress experienced by the elderly. The pre test is carried out before counseling is given, to find out the increase in respondents' knowledge about the effect of reading prayer on the stress of the elderly can be found by comparing the results of the post test that have been filled in by the respondents after the counseling is carried out with the results of the pre test. The result was that there was an increase in public knowledge because the post test score was higher than the pre-test score

Abstract

This community service program was implemented through a Thematic Community Service (KKN-T) activity with an Eco Pesantren approach at Baitul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, Jember. The program aimed to enhance the capacity of students and administrators through limited-area organic farming training, compost and eco enzyme production, entrepreneurship training focusing on UMKM branding and 7P marketing strategy, public speaking training, digital financial management using Excel, and technology diffusion through eco design-based gate architecture. The implementation methods included training, community education, consultation, and science-technology diffusion. Evaluation was conducted through observation, interviews, and participant documentation. The results showed significant improvements in farming skills, design and marketing capabilities, public communication literacy, and digital financial management. Furthermore, the pondok gate design provided a concrete contribution to strengthening the pesantren's eco-friendly identity. This program demonstrated that the integration of practical and collaborative methods to improve the pesantren’s human resources. Sustainability is recommended through independent follow-up mentoring and ongoing internal monitoring by pesantren administrators.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to assist elementary school teachers in implementing digital game-based education as an effort to increase students' learning motivation while also creating more effective, interactive, and meaningful learning experiences. Through this approach, students are not only encouraged to be more active but are also trained in critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, which are highly essential in the 21st century. To ensure optimal implementation, teachers need to have a solid understanding and specific skills in designing and adapting educational games in accordance with the applicable curriculum. Therefore, intensive training and mentoring are key elements in teacher empowerment. The implementation of this program at SD Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School has shown significant improvements in pedagogical skills, digital literacy, and teacher creativity, ultimately supporting the creation of a more innovative and sustainable learning environment. Additionally, teachers have begun to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational games used and adapt them to suit students’ learning needs. The use of various digital platforms such as Kahoot, Wordwall, and Scratch Jr has enriched the diversity of learning methods. Teachers have also started forming peer-sharing communities to support each other in implementing this method. It is expected that this mentoring model can be replicated in other elementary schools as a strategy to strengthen teachers’ capacity in facing the challenges of digital education.

Abstract

The problem faced in Oneeha Village, Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency is the low community understanding of Village Regulation Number 4 of 2019 concerning livestock control, which results in frequent crop damage caused by livestock. This community service aims to optimize the implementation of livestock control policies by increasing public understanding and awareness. The method employed was socialization conducted through meetings at the village office with participation from 30 community members and 10 village officials, using pretests and posttests to measure changes in participants’ understanding. The results showed that before socialization, many community members were unaware of the sanction amounts and there was controversy regarding the fines. After socialization, there was a significant increase in community understanding and awareness of the importance of complying with regulations to maintain order and prevent mutual losses. Furthermore, the community and village government proposed evaluating the regulation, which has been in effect for six years, to better suit current conditions. In conclusion, socialization effectively improves community knowledge and supports the harmonization of agricultural and livestock activities, while policy evaluation is necessary for more adaptive and sustainable implementation.
