Background – The results of the prior assessment of thematic villages by the Tangerang City Government have not found maximum results, because thematic villages that are included in the main cluster are still below fifty percent. This shows that the performance of thematic village organizations still needs to be improved. Aim – This study aims to find a management strategy model in developing thematic villages in Tangerang City. Thematic villages have the opportunity to support the development of Tangerang City through good strategic management. Design / Methodology / Approach – The approach used in this research is qualitative. The object of research is thematic villages in Tangerang City. Informants are the leaders of thematic villages, the determination of informants is done purposively, using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used observation, interview documentation and triangulation. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Findings – This study show that most thematic villages in Tangerang City have not used a strategic management model in developing thematic villages in the form of determining a vision, conducting an environmental assessment, setting goals and implementing strategies. Conclusion – Institutional strengthening needs to be carried out through the implementation of a management strategy model assisted by the Tangerang City Bappeda. Research Implication – The implications of this study, with the results of the study in the form of a strategic management model can be used as input for the development of management science. Abstract

Background – The mental well-being of employees is crucial for both the individuals and the organizations they belong to. Employees who enjoy mental prosperity are often more productive, underscoring the importance of fostering a supportive work environment. Aim – This study investigates the impact of workplace spirituality on the mental well-being of employees in Java, examining the roles of happiness at work and mindfulness as intermediary factors. Design/ methodology/ approach – Employing a quantitative approach, this research engaged 352 respondents from various organizations across Java. Data collected were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software, focusing on the relationships between workplace spirituality, happiness at work, mindfulness, and employee mental well-being. Findings – The study reveals that workplace spirituality significantly contributes to both happiness at work and mindfulness. Moreover, it directly influences employee mental well-being. However, while mindfulness serves as an effective mediator in this relationship, happiness at work does not significantly mediate the impact of workplace spirituality on mental well-being. This suggests that the pathway through which workplace spirituality affects employee mental well-being is primarily through mindfulness. Conclusion – Workplace spirituality emerges as a positive force, enhancing employee happiness and mindfulness, which in turn, contributes to better mental well-being. The study underscores the importance of mindfulness as a mediating factor, highlighting its role in leveraging spiritual values in the workplace to support employee mental health. Research Implication – The findings suggest that organizations should consider integrating mindfulness training and spiritual values into their employee development programs. Such initiatives can help mitigate stress, anxiety, and work-related pressures, fostering a healthier and more supportive work environment conducive to employee growth. Limitations – While this study identified happiness at work and mindfulness as potential mediators, the former did not significantly mediate the relationship between workplace spirituality and mental well-being. Future research might explore alternative mediating variables to fully understand the dynamics at play.

Design / methodology / approach – This type of research is quantitative research, namely analyzing data in the form of numbers. The data used in this research is primary data which is data directly obtained from the first data source. Data was obtained from the results of a questionnaire distributed to respondents, namely Hikmah Travel pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis with moderator effects. Findings – The results of this research are that the service quality variable (X1) has no effect on consumer satisfaction (Y), the price perception variable (X2) has no effect on consumer satisfaction (Y), the trust variable (X3) has no effect on consumer satisfaction (Y), the empathy variable (X4) has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction (Y), healthy perception (Z) moderates the influence of service quality (X1) on consumer satisfaction (Y), healthy perception (Z) is unable to moderate the influence of price (X2) on consumer satisfaction (Y), healthy perception (Z) is able to moderate the influence of trust (X3) on consumer satisfaction (Y), healthy perception (Z) is unable to moderate the influence of empathy (X4) on consumer satisfaction (Y). Conclusion - The ability of health perception to moderate consumer satisfaction is seen from the quality of service, price perception, trust is good, so this needs to be a concern for hajj and umrah services. However, the absence of health perception will actually result in compromised customer satisfaction. Research implication – Empathy has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, so travel agencies should pay attention to the empathy factor so that it can increase consumer satisfaction and can be used to attract Hajj pilgrims to use their travel services. Apart from the empathy factor, healthy perceptions are able to moderate the factors of service quality and trust in customer satisfaction, so travel agencies must also pay attention to these factors to get potential customers. Limitations – The population in this research is Hajj and Umrah travel services in East Java, while the sample from this research is Umrah and Hajj pilgrims at Hikmah Travel.

Abstract

Background – Based on these data, it can be seen that the tendency to achieve sales volume targets as a performance target for PT credit card units. Bank Mandiri is stagnant or flat, but the achievement figure is still below the predetermined target value, namely still below 100%. Achieving targets that are still below 100% is a threat to Bank Mandiri's credit card unit because it reduces revenue and unit valuation when compared to other units. Apart from that, from the employee side, if the target achievement is below 100%, it will have an impact on the absence of incentives issued as rewards, which is feared will reduce employee motivation and satisfaction with the Bank Mandiri credit card unit. Aim – This research aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence on performance by considering job satisfaction and job stress as mediators. Design/ Methodology/ Approach – Using a quantitative approach, this research involved 90 employees of Bank Mandiri Regional VIII Surabaya City. The data collected was analyzed using SmartPLS 3.5 software, with a focus on the relationship between emotional intelligence, employee performance, job satisfaction, and job stress. Findings – This research shows that 1) emotional intelligence has a positive effect on employee performance, 2) emotional intelligence has a positive effect on employee performance through job satisfaction, and 3) emotional intelligence has a positive effect on employee performance through work stress. Conclusion – Emotional intelligence in the workplace as a form of improving employee performance is basically a necessity for employees. However, emotional intelligence will cause employees to achieve job satisfaction and reduce work stress. Research implication – In connection with emotional intelligence, companies should be able to maintain and improve the optimistic attitude of employees to achieve success. In relation to job satisfaction, companies should pay attention to aspects of providing work according to the tasks and functions given. In relation to work stress, companies should be able to create a conducive climate within the company. Limitations – This research is supported by data from bank employees, especially Bank Mandiri. There is a possibility that other banks will also provide the same or different results, which thus requires additional justification to see this at other banks.
