Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyse the effect of intellectual capital and financial performance on firm value, with the analysis testing multiple linear regression with SPSS Version 26 software. The data utilised in this study are audited financial statements for companies in the manufacturing sector that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2020-2023. The study utilised a sample of 72 manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during the 2020-2023 period, employing a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study determined by the t-test output using SPSS show that the intellectual capital variable partially affects the company's value. Partially, financial performance has no significant effect on firm value. The results of the F test show that intellectual capital and financial performance simultaneously have a significant effect on firm value in the manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2023.

Abstract

One of the industries affected by the growth in the number of internet users and advances in digital technology in Indonesia is online transportation. However, the inDrive company showed the smallest performance, which only reached 4.03 million downloads, this merchant was very far behind its competitors, namely Gojek, Grab and Maxim. InDrive has implemented a unique concept, namely the bidding feature in order to achieve fairness and transparency and maximize services with the SHIELD security feature. Therefore, this study aims to identify the effect of value for money, perceived quality on trust, mediate trust in value for money and perceived quality on customer loyalty, and trust in customer loyalty. This research is a quantitative study, with data sources obtained from online questionnaires distributed to 130 respondents who have used the inDrive application in Indonesia who were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model on SmartPLS. The findings of this study are that perceived quality and value for money has a positive and significant effect on trust, trust mediates perceived quality and value for money on customer loyalty and trust has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Trust is the most significant variable affecting customer loyalty, so inDrive Indonesia management must focus on maintaining consistency and increasing consumer trust

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Financial Rewards, Work Environment, and Personality Types on Accounting Students' Interest in becoming public accountants. The research employs Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) methodology. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software, involving two main stages: estimating the structural model through the PLS Algorithm and testing significance using Bootstrapping. The results from the PLS Algorithm indicate that both Financial Rewards and Work Environment hurt Accounting Students' Interest, while Personality Types show a positive effect. However, the significance test results from Bootstrapping reveal that only Personality Types have a significant impact, with a t-value of 2.338 (>1.96), whereas the effects of Financial Rewards and Work Environment are not significant. Additionally, an R-square value of 0.215 indicates that 21.5% of the variability in students' interest can be explained by this model. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Personality Types are the most influential factor affecting Accounting Students' interest in pursuing a career as a public accountant.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Lecturer's Teaching Style and Learning Motivation on Student Learning Achievement in higher education. The motivation behind this research stems from the need to understand how teaching methods and student motivation collectively influence academic performance, especially in the context of modern learning environments. The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis to analyze data from 51 students. The findings indicate that both Lecturer's Teaching Style (β = 0.554, p = 0.028) and Learning Motivation (β = 0.342, p = 0.036) significantly affect Student Learning Achievement, with Lecturer's Teaching Style showing a slightly stronger influence. These results suggest that enhancing teaching strategies and fostering student motivation can improve academic outcomes. The study underscores the importance of adapting teaching methods to diverse learning needs and creating a motivating learning environment to boost student performance. Educational institutions are encouraged to invest in training programs for lecturers and strategies to enhance student motivation. Future studies may explore additional factors influencing student achievement, such as self-regulation and socio-cultural aspects.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of energy use management, water management, and gender diversity on the future performance and value of companies in the energy sector, focusing on those listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2021 and 2022. A quantitative research design with descriptive analysis is applied. The sample is selected using purposive sampling, based on criteria such as the availability of sustainability reports. Secondary data is sourced from the sustainability reports of energy firms. The research explores future firm value, represented by Tobin's Q, and future firm performance, measured by Return on Assets (ROA), as dependent variables. The independent variables include energy consumption, water usage, and the proportion of female board members. Data is analyzed using SPSS, with descriptive statistics, assumption tests, and regression analysis. Findings suggest that energy use management has a positive effect on future firm value, whereas water management and gender diversity do not significantly influence firm value. On the other hand, both water management and gender diversity are positively linked to future firm performance. The study's scope is limited by its focus on the energy sector and the short time frame of analysis. Future research could broaden the scope and sample to enhance generalizability. The study recommends that companies adopt transparent and consistent sustainability practices to enhance performance and value, while suggesting that the government consider implementing mandatory sustainability reporting for firms listed on the IDX.

Abstract

Purchasing decisions are the result of various factors, including promotion and customer satisfaction, which are important for the success of companies in the competitive automotive industry. This study aims to analyze the effect of promotion and customer satisfaction on purchasing decisions on motorcycle products at CV Kompo Motor Purbalingga. The research uses quantitative methods with data collection through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the analysis show that promotion and customer satisfaction have a significant and positive relationship to purchasing decisions, with customer satisfaction having a more dominant influence. The linear regression test shows a coefficient of determination of 65%, which indicates that the variability of purchasing decisions can be largely explained by the promotion and customer satisfaction variables. The implication of these findings is the importance of companies to develop promotional strategies that are aligned with improving service quality in order to increase customer satisfaction. However, this study has limitations on the scope of the research location, so further research is recommended to expand the scope of the study to other regions or industrial sectors to strengthen the generalization of the results.
