Abstract

This study aims to produce a folklore comic about the origin of the sungai sorai for fifth grade elementary school students and to determine the feasibility of the sungai sorai origin folklore comic for fifth grade elementary school students. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method or research and development using the Four-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaires and written tests. The feasibility of folklore comics was obtained from the results of validation, product trials and written tests. Validation is carried out by design experts, linguists and practitioners. The product trials conducted were limited to only 10 students. The written test used is in the form of objective questions to determine students' knowledge and understanding of folklore comics. The results showed that the validation of design experts obtained an assessment with a very valid category. In validation, linguists obtained an assessment with a very valid category. The next validation is practitioner validation with a very valid category. The product trial used is a limited product trial with the category of student response assessment which is very good. The student's written test in the form of objective questions about folklore comics received an assessment in the very good category. The results of this development research indicate that the folklore comic "The Origin of the Sungai Sorai" is very suitable for use for fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) increase student activity during the learning activities of sub-theme 1energy sources; (2) Improve learning outcomes in sub-theme 1 energy sources; and (3) Producinglearning media for sub-theme 1 sources of innovative energy that can increase motivation and learning outcomes in sub-theme 1 energy sources. This type of research is a classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This media is motivated by the students' mastery of the subject matter is low, the activity of students during the learning process is very lacking, students are less interested in the methods and media used by researchers. This innovative work consists of two types of media, namely the Spinning Wheel and the Smart Puzzle. This rotating wheel uses iron and used parabolic plates. Meanwhile, this Smart Puzzle is made from Styrofoam and Asturo paper. The wheel will stop pointing to a source of energy for the students to arrange their smart puzzles. The results obtained in the practical application of this media are that it can increase motivation and learning achievement in sub-theme 1 energy sources for fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sigli. It is proven in the first cycle of 33 students who achieved complete learning, 16 students or 48.5% obtained an average score of 68.2. Then the complete students increased again in the second cycle to 28 students or 84.9% with an average score of 77.6 which exceeded the indicator achievement target of 70. Based on the results of observations, this learning process was in a good category. .

Abstract

Learning media can be found anywhere. Media has become apart of our lifes in our daily life. Now a days peoples are easier get an information and an enlightenment because of the learning media.The aims of the study is to find out the speaking skill learning effect of students of grade V Primary Civil School 095135 Sipolha Horison,Pamatangsidamanik District, Simalungun Regency in learning English language before using Audio Visual Media. And to find out the Speaking skill effect of students of grade V Primary Civil School 095135 Sipolha Horison, Pamatangsidamanik District, Simalungun Regency after using an Audio Visual Media. From the research result and from the discussion taken by the author , we ot some conclusion : After adopting Audio Visual media, we know that students of grade V Primary Civil School 095135 sipolha Horison,Pamatangsidamanik District, Simalungun Regency are easier to understand the materials or an information which is delivered by the teacher. It means that the aim of the learning can be succeded effectifelly for the subject English language on Muatan lokal subject on students of grade V Primary Civil School 095135 Sipolha Horison,Pamatangsidamanik, District, Simalungun Regency.After developing English Language using an Audio Visual,proves that using an audio visual are more effectively than before taking the develope one.

Abstract

The Covid pandemic requires blended learning (a combination of face-to-face and online learning). The low ability to think critically in class makes the learning process not optimal, therefore it is necessary to increase students' critical thinking skills using the Blended-Problem Based Learning learning model. The method used is classroom action research with a sample of 73 semester VI students in the learning media course for Primary School Teacher Education at Padang State University. Students 'initial critical thinking ability was in the very poor category with a percentage of 41%, after the first cycle there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills by 15% and cycle II by 27%. It can be concluded that the Blended-Problem Based Learning learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

Masalah yang terjadi di Sekolah dasar 04 Sintang pada kelas IV B adalah rendahnya nilai hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi KPK dan FPB. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media dakon matematika. Dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika materi KPK dan FPB dengan menggunakan media dakon matematika. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri 04 Sintang Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 23 orang siswa. Sumber data berasal dari siswa kelas IV B, guru kelas IV B, kegiatan pembelajaran, dan dokumen. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi (guru dan siswa), soal tes, dan lembar wawancara siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) dengan menggunakan media dakon matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi KPK dan FPB dengan kategori sangat baik dan siswa berperan aktif. (2) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan media dakon matematika pada siklus I diperoleh hasil belajar siswa rata-rata sebesar 71,30 dan meningkat pada siklus II mencapai 81,73 sehingga terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 10,43 tingkat ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 65,21% dan tingkat ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus II sebesar 91,30% sehingga terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 26,09%. (3) respon siswa melalui wawancara secara langsung menunjukkan respon positif terhadap media dakon matematika. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media dakon matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran matematika materi KPK dan FPB kelas IV B SDN 04 Sintang tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

Berbagai teknologi dipakai dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam dunia pendidikan. Ada beberapa aplikasi bersifat interaktif yang bisa dipergunakan guru dan juga para peserta didik untuk belajar matematika. Salah satunya yaitu penggunaan google classroom.  Pemanfaatan goolge classroom ini dapat membuat kelas maya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis google classroom dalam menyongsong era revolusi industri 4.0 terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen non-equivalent control group desain. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar matematika pada siswa yang diajar tanpa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis goolge classroom dan kelas yang diajar dengan penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis goolge classroom. Disamping itu, penggunaan pembelajaran berbasis google classroom lebih efektif diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI dibanding pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis google classroom.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 1 Sintang for the 2019/2020 school year. Based on the learning outcome data, it shows student learning scores that are good in the conditions and situations of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research aimed to determine the relationship between the task value of students and the daily test scores of students in class VB MIN 1 Sintang for the 2019/2020 school year. The approach used in this research is quantitative while the research method uses the correlation method. Techniques and data collection tools used in this study were documentation techniques, while the tools were documents. Based on the research results, it was found that the average value of the task value of students from the sample was 81.2. Meanwhile, the students' daily test results obtained an average value of 85.9 in the good category. After the data is calculated statistically, it is obtained that rcount is 0.477, which means that it is in the value range 0.40-0.599 in the medium category. The results of the determinant formula obtained KP = 22.75%. From the significant test results obtained tcount of 3.096 where the error level is 5% or α = 0.05 and the degrees of freedom dk = n-2, dk = 32-2 dk = 30, for the ttable value of 2.042. Because tcount > ttable, namely 3.096 > 2.042, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that the conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between the task value of students and the daily test scores of students in class VB MIN 1 Sintang for the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that aims to obtain reflections on distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in Class X biology subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Medan TP. 2020/2021. The research subjects were students of class X. The research instrument was a questionnaire given to students online in a google form format. The results showed that: Distance Learning (PJJ) in Biology subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Medan TP. 2020/2021 has been carried out well. Most students are not accompanied during PJJ because both parents/guardians work, do not understand the material and there are already other people accompanying them, namely older siblings, other family members, and tutors. Most of the students do not understand the lesson well. Students can use online and offline learning tools well which are supported by environmental conditions at home to improve concentration. Most students are ready to study back at school at the TP. 2021/2022.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study which aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of distance learning (PJJ) in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic in biology subject in Class X SMA Negeri 2 Medan TP. 2020/2021. The research subjects were students of class X. The research instruments were interviews with the teacher and giving questionnaires to students. The results showed that: Teachers and students of Class X SMA Negeri 2 Medan TP. 2020/2021 has implemented Distance Learning (PJJ). Students carry out PJJ every day, an average of 5-6 hours per day. Students take online classes provided by the teacher, namely Google Classroom, interact via video conference (zoom cloud meeting), Instagram, group chat (telegram, whatsapp), as well as through other online learning applications. Students think they can still understand the learning material, it's fun, it's easy to get learning resources, and can still concentrate. However, some students complained that they could not ask directly to the teacher or friends, and were bored. .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 22 Medan. Dan sampel diambil secara random sampling dimana satu kelas dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen I yaitu kelas yang diajar dengan pembelajaran Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dan satu kelas lagi dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen II yaitu kelas yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design). Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Uji hipotesis dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dengan kriteria pengujian thitung > ttabel. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thit 4,562 > ttab 3,063. Dengan demikian H0 ditolak sedangkan Ha diterima, berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan tipe STAD di kelas VIII pada materi sistem organ pada manusia.
