Abstract

The advancement of 21st century education demands mastery of higher-order thinking skills, especially critical thinking, but learning in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional approaches that are teacher-centered and lack active student involvement, making it less effective in developing these abilities. This study aims to evaluate learning models that effectively improve critical thinking skills among elementary school students. Using the narrative review method, this study analyzed the literature on the implementation of innovative learning approaches. The results showed that learning models such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Discovery Learning, and Project-Based Learning (PjBL), as well as cooperative strategies such as Jigsaw, Think Pair Share (TPS), Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), Teams Games Tournament (TGT), and Make a Match proved to be effective in learning. These models can increase students' participation, collaboration, and logical and analytical thinking skills. Therefore, the application of diverse and innovative learning models is a strategic approach to strengthen critical thinking in elementary school mathematics education.Kemajuan pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut penguasaan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, khususnya berpikir kritis, namun pembelajaran di sekolah dasar masih didominasi pendekatan konvensional yang berpusat pada guru dan minim keterlibatan aktif siswa, sehingga kurang efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi model pembelajaran yang secara efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar. Dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan naratif, penelitian ini menganalisis literatur tentang penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran yang inovatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran seperti Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Discovery Learning, dan Project-Based Learning (PjBL), serta strategi kooperatif seperti Jigsaw, Think Pair Share (TPS), Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), Teams Games Tournament (TGT), dan Make a Match terbukti efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Model-model tersebut dapat meningkatkan partisipasi, kolaborasi, serta kemampuan berpikir logis dan analitis siswa. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model pembelajaran yang beragam dan inovatif merupakan pendekatan strategis untuk memperkuat pemikiran kritis dalam pendidikan matematika sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Numeracy is an important skill for learners to master in understanding and solving daily life problems. This study aims to comprehensively review the literature on numeracy skills of primary school students. This research method is a systematic literature review (SLR). The scientific articles analyzed were articles published from 2020 - 2025 using the keywords numeracy skills, student numeracy factors, mathematical reasoning, and elementary school in the Google Scholar database. The results showed that the numeracy skills of primary school students are basic skills that are broader than ordinary mathematical calculations, including the application of numbers and mathematical symbols to solve various issues faced in everyday life, as well as the ability to analyze data in various formats. Various factors affect numeracy skills, namely cognitive and non-cognitive aspects (self-confidence, mathematical disposition, discipline), variations in student ability levels, lack of numeracy literacy-related training, as well as learning approaches and curricula that need to be adapted to the context of students' real lives.  Thus, it is necessary to improve efforts in developing primary school students' numeracy skills through innovative learning strategies by considering other factors that influence it.Kemampuan numerasi merupakan kemampuan yang penting untuk dikuasai peserta didik dalam memahami dan memecahkan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji literatur tentang kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar dengan secara komprehensif. Metode penelitian ini adalah systematic literature review (SLR). Artikel ilmiah yang dianalisis merupakan artikel yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2020 – 2025 dengan menggunakan kata kunci kemampuan numerasi, faktor numerasi siswa, penalaran matematis, dan sekolah dasar pada database Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuam numerasi siswa sekolah dasar merupakan keterampilan dasar yang lebih luas dari perhitungan matematika biasa, meliputi penerapan angka serta simbol matematika untuk memecahkan berbagai isu yang dihadapi dalam keseharian, serta kemampuan dalam menganalisis data dalam beragam format. Berbagai faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan numerasi yaitu aspek kognitif dan non-kognitif (self eficacy, disposisi matematis, kedisiplinan), variasi dalam tingkat kemampuan siswa, minimnya latihan terkait literasi numerasi, serta pendekatan pembelajaran dan kurikulum yang perlu disesuaikan dengan konteks kehidupan nyata siswa.  Dengan demikian diperlukan upaya peningkatan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar melalui strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhinya.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar menunjukkan perlunya inovasi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan konteks kehidupan dan budaya siswa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas V B di SD Negeri 1 Sokanegara dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang di kombinasikan dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subyek  penelitian adalah    kelas V B  tahun  ajaran 2024/2025  berjumlah  31 siswa.  Instrumen  penelitian yaitu lembar observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Sementara analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan numerasi siswa pada tahap awal hanya sebesar 13% (kategori kurang), kemudian meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 45% (kategori kurang), naik lagi pada siklus II menjadi 68% (kategori cukup), dan terus berkembang pada siklus III menjadi 77% (kategori cukup). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL dengan pendekatan CRT efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa.

Abstract

The limitations of conventional media in delivering greenhouse effect material hinder the development of creative thinking skills among elementary school students. This study aims to analyze the need for Augmented Reality (AR) learning media to enhance the creative thinking skills of 4th-grade students. A systematic literature review method was employed by analyzing three key journals that met the criteria of validity and relevance. The findings indicate that AR media can concretely and interactively visualize abstract concepts, increase learning motivation, and support the development of students' creative ideas. However, challenges were identified, including limited access to devices, teachers' readiness, and the complexity of developing content suitable for children's characteristics. In conclusion, effective AR media development requires accurate needs analysis, teacher training, and collaboration between developers, educators, and educational institutions. Keterbatasan media konvensional dalam menyampaikan materi efek rumah kaca menghambat pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality (AR) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas 4 SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review melalui analisis tiga jurnal utama yang memenuhi kriteria validitas dan relevansi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media AR mampu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak secara konkret dan interaktif, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan memfasilitasi pengembangan ide-ide kreatif siswa. Namun, ditemukan tantangan berupa keterbatasan perangkat, kesiapan guru, serta kompleksitas pengembangan konten sesuai karakteristik anak. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan media AR yang efektif membutuhkan analisis kebutuhan yang tepat, pelatihan guru, serta kolaborasi antara pengembang, pendidik, dan institusi pendidikan.

Abstract

Deep learning emphasizes conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and the interconnection between topics to create meaningful learning experiences. The aim of this study is to identify the role of teachers in implementing deep learning in both regular and inclusive classrooms. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing 32 sources, consisting of relevant journal articles and academic books. The data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively using a thematic approach based on the main themes: teacher roles and instructional strategies. The findings indicate that teachers play a central role in applying deep learning. In regular classrooms, teachers act as designers of differentiated instruction and facilitators of dialogue that support individual student needs. Meanwhile, in inclusive classrooms, teachers are also required to implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL), collaborate with teaching assistants, and create an inclusive learning environment. Pedagogical competence, empathy, and the ability to collaborate are key factors in the successful implementation of deep learning.Pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) menekankan pemahaman konsep, berpikir kritis, dan keterkaitan antarmateri untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) menekankan pemahaman konsep, berpikir kritis, dan keterkaitan antarmateri untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran mendalam di kelas reguler dan inklusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis 32 sumber, terdiri dari artikel jurnal dan buku relevan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif melalui pendekatan tematik berdasarkan tema utama, yaitu peran guru dan strategi pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran sentral dalam menerapkan pembelajaran mendalam. Di kelas reguler, guru bertindak sebagai perancang pembelajaran diferensiatif dan fasilitator dialog yang mendukung kebutuhan individu. Sementara itu, di kelas inklusi, guru juga perlu menerapkan Universal Design for Learning (UDL), berkolaborasi dengan pendamping, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif. Kompetensi pedagogis, empati, dan kemampuan berkolaborasi menjadi kunci utama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya capaian hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Matematika yang didominasi metode ceramah dengan minimnya keterlibatan aktif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) yang dipadukan dengan media Rantai Petualangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penerapan model TGT berbantuan media Rantai Petualangan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model spiral dari Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Purwokerto Lor. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa: dari 70,91 (54,54%) pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 80,91 (77,27%) pada siklus II, dan mencapai 90,00 (95,45%) pada siklus III. Selain peningkatan aspek kognitif, penerapan model TGT juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

The material about the solar system contains abstract ideas and cannot be witnessed directly; therefore, observation is needed to understand the processes that occur in the cosmos. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and process of creating POBISISTAR (Solar System Pop-Up Science Book) teaching materials for sixth-grade elementary school students. The R&D approach created by Brog and Gall, which consists of the following stages: introduction, product design, product validation, and product trial, was used in this work. Data collection methods included student response questionnaires and questionnaire validation from media experts and material experts. The research findings showed that, according to validation from media experts and material experts, the POBISISTAR (Solar System Pop-Up Science Book) teaching materials for sixth-grade elementary school students were 80% and 78.67%, respectively. Ninety-five percent of students answered the questionnaire. According to the research findings, sixth-grade elementary school students can use POBISISTAR (Solar System Pop-Up Science Book) teaching resources. Materi tentang tata surya mengandung gagasan yang abstrak dan tidak dapat disaksikan secara langsung; oleh karena itu, pengamatan diperlukan untuk memahami proses yang terjadi di kosmos. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan kelayakan dan proses pembuatan bahan ajar POBISISTAR (Pop Up Book IPA SistemTata Surya) untuk siswa kelas enam sekolah dasar. Pendekatan R&D yang dibuat oleh Brog dan Gall, yang terdiri dari tahapan-tahapan berikut: pendahuluan, desain produk, validasi produk, dan uji coba produk, digunakan dalam karya ini. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi angket respons siswa dan validasi angket dari ahli media dan ahli materi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, menurut validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi, bahan ajar POBISISTAR (Pop Up Book IPA SistemTata Surya) untuk siswa kelas enam sekolah dasar masing-masing adalah 80% dan 78,67%. Sembilan puluh lima persen siswa menjawab angket. Menurut temuan penelitian, siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar dapat menggunakan sumber ajar POBISISTAR (Pop Up Book IPA SistemTata Surya).

Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan: 1) Gambaran efektivitas implementasi manajemen mutu terpadu Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathla’ul Huda Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung 2) Gambaran kinerja Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathla’ul Huda Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung 3) Gambaran efektivitas implementasi manajemen mutu terpadu Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathla’ul Huda Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan: 1) Efektivitas Implementasi Manajemen Mutu Terpadu di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathla’ul Huda Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung ditinjau dari unsur Total Quality Management 2) Kinerja Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathla’ul Huda Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung sangat baik ditinjau dari lingkungan pembelajaran dan sarana-prasarana. Kecepatan dan ketanggapan pelayanan terhadap konsumen sangat baik. 3) Dari hasil penelitian tentang implementasi Manajemen Mutu Terpadu Dalam Meningkatkan Layanan Pendidikan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mathla’ul Huda Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung disimpulkan bahwa layanan pendidikan terhadap pelanggan sangat baik dari hasil kelola dengan proses manajemen yang efektif.

Abstract

Textbooks play a crucial role in achieving learning objectives, as they contain instructional materials that help enhance students knowledge. A high-quality textbook should meet the content feasibility standards established by the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP), thus contributing to improved student learning outcomes and academic performance in schools. This study aims to evaluate the content feasibility of the third-grade Bahasa Indonesia textbook published by EG. The research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis methods and field note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, and data validity was ensured through technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the content of the third-grade Bahasa Indonesia textbook by EG largely aligns with the content feasibility criteria, particularly in terms of alignment with learning objectives, material accuracy, and the presence of supportive learning materials. The study concludes that the textbook meets the content quality standards and is suitable for use as a supplementary textbook during the learning process.Buku teks berperan penting untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, karena pada buku teks berisi materi-materi yang mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa. Buku teks yang memiliki kualitas baik, memenuhi standar kualitas kelayakan isi yang sesuai dengan standar Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) yang ditetapkan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan prestasi siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan isi buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas III dari penerbit EG. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi, dan menggunakan teknik catatan lapangan. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik untuk mengukur keabsahan data. Hasil analisis isi dalam buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas III dari penerbit EG sebagian besar sudah sesuai dengan kelayakan isinya berdasarkan komponen kesesuaian capaian pembelajaran dan tujuan pembelajaran, keakuratan materi, dan materi pendukung pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kualitas buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas III dari penerbit EG sudah sesuai dengan kriteria kelayakan isi buku teks, dan layak dijadikan sebagai buku pendamping dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract

The low understanding of Grade 4 students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah regarding multiplication operations with whole numbers is one of the main obstacles in mathematics learning that must be addressed promptly. This study aims to determine the effect of using dakon mathematics media on multiplication operation ability and to enhance the effectiveness of mathematics learning among Grade 4 MI students. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach and a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class used dakon media, while the control class used conventional methods, with 20 students in each class.The data collection technique in this study was carried out using pretests and posttests to measure students' multiplication ability before and after treatment. The data analysis technique used was quantitative statistical analysis with a t-test to examine the difference in average multiplication ability between the experimental and control classes.The results of the study showed a significant increase in multiplication operation skills in students who used dakon media compared to those who did not use the media . The dakon media proved effective in helping students understand the concept of multiplication through a concrete and enjoyable approach. Thus, the use of dakon mathematics media has a positive impact on improving multiplication skills in Grade 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students.
