Vocational schools are expected to increase the professionalism of teachers in guiding their students to improve learning achievement. Studying the implementation of School-Based Management by identifying factors influenced in vocational school was one of the ways to find out the answer. With the sample of vocational schools in Karanganyar district, this study used qualitative method to collect the data and by snowball sampling to choose the informant, whose directly involved in the implementation of school based management. The results of this study identified that input, process, and output proved to increase learning performance. Input can be identified from vision, mission, goals, and school targets; process can be identified from constructing planning and program of quality improvement by Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats (SWOT) analysis; while output can be drawn from evaluating program implementation and formulating new goals. Other side, limited number of teachers who were not accompanied with good understanding about school-based management encourage lower performance.

This research is motivated by differences in personality types that caused by differences in thinking abilities which also have an impact on student learning outcomes. The purposes of this study was to identify and analyze the personality types of students and their implications for learning history at SMAS Pusaka 1 Jakarta. The personality types that used in this study are extrovert and introvert personality types according to Carl Gustaf Jung (Arip et al., 2017). The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS at SMAS Pusaka 1 Jakarta for the 2020/2021 school year. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using a questionnaire to collect data on student personality types and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that extrovert students were more able to build work communication in groups so that they could find more information related to the problems given. However, the information managed by extrovert students is still superficial and less logical. Meanwhile, introverted students are able to use information in answering the problems given by in-depth analysis. The implication of this research is teachers must be able to better understand the personality types of students, both extrovert and introvert to generate more effective learning.

The children's ability on literacy is essential for their ability development and academical achievement. The purposes of this article are 1) describing fairy tale stories, 2) describing the culture of literacy reading, 3) describing fairy to grower of literacy for primary school students. The research method used was literature study. The data was obtained by doing research study towards some literatures, books, reports and notes included the research problems. The results of this research explains about 1) the description of fairy tale stories, 2) the description of the culture of literacy reading, 3)the description of the usage of fairy tale stories as the literacy culture for children in primary school. The conclusion of this research is that fairy tale is fictional, imaginative, morale and understandable story so that it could be used as an alternative in growing the literacy culture particularly literacy reading for primary school students.

This article describes the improvement of student learning outcomes in the thematic learning of healthy food for the content of science subjects with the discovery learning method through audio-visual. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 28 students of class V SDNGandrungmangu 01 Cilacap in the academic year 2020/2021. Data collection techniques using tests. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Discovery learning can improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning Healthy food for science subject content for class V SDN Gandrungmangu 01 academic year 2020/2021 as evidenced by a percentage of 65% completeness of learning outcomes in the cycle I, 75% in cycle II.

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in science learning of the fifth grade. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in three cycles, each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subject of this study is 11 students of the fifth grade of SDN Guntur in the academic year 2020/2021. Data collection techniques use observation and tests. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that the use of learning video media can improve science learning outcomes of the fifth grade students in the academic year 2020/2021 evidenced by the percentage of learning outcomes completeness and class average score. In the first cycle only reaches 72,73 % and the class average score is 72,36, in the second cycle becomes 100 % with the class average score 82,09 and in the third cycle reaches 100 % with the class average score 86,91.

The objective of this research is to improve the experimental skills of 4th grade students of SD N Surakarta year 2017/2018 through the application of Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) learning model in learning natural science. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects of this research are teacher and fourth graders of SDN N Surakarta Year 2017/2018 consisting of 12 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique used is inte-ractive analysis model which has four components consisting of data collecting, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Data validity test uses content validity and triangulation. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that the application of Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) learning model can improve the experimental skills of 4th grade students of SD N Surakarta Year 2017/2018.

One of the problems faced by elementary school teachers is the problem of making and using learning media in schools.This is due to the lack of readiness of human resources about understanding media in learning. For this purpose the community service activities are: (1) increasing the competence of elementary school teachers about learning, (2) developing learning media in elementary schools, (3) structuring learning media in elementary schools. This Community Service activity uses the design of the transfer of science and technology from the university to the stakeholders which includes: (a) workshops, (b) training and mentoring. This dedication activity was carried out in the activities of the Teachers Working Group Cluster "Banyumudal" in Kebumen District year 2019. The results of these community service activities are: (1) improvement of teacher competency about learning media in elementary schools, (2) products of various types of learning media in elementary schools, (3) the formation of "Mini Laboratory" for learning in elementary schools

Pancasila as a basis and ideology of the nation has demonstrated its role in leading citizens' attitudes life in filling every process of life. Pancasila became a guide to the life of a nation projected through its people's attitudes always have some noble value as a starting capital in building civilization. Strengthening the value of the nation's younger generation of character is valued highly, using mainly indigenous knowledge (non-western knowledge) based on local wisdom to build a paradigm of thought and attitude. One form of Nusantara's local wisdom that contributes to ideas in affirmation the character of the nation is through game. The gala-gala as traditional Balinese game has demonstrated its role in giving life learning about the values of life that have relevance to strengthening character for the nation's younger generation. The study examined the exploration of Pancasila values in traditional gala-gala folk games as an effort to strengthen the character of Indonesia's younger generation. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis, which means in both descriptive and analysis of the theme under discussion. The result this study is concept of reinforce the character of the younger generation based on Pancasila values in gala-gala traditional game.

Indonesia is a multicultural country that has various ethnicities, races, religions and cultures. However, the sense of mutual respect, respect and tolerance among Indonesians is now starting to diminish. This is of course a threat in itself for the Indonesian people, especially it will have an impact on the characteristics of the younger generation as the next generation who will determine the fate of the Indonesian people in the eyes of the world. Therefore, education is the main solution in dealing with these problems. Through multicultural education in history learning given in schools, it is hoped that a young generation of Indonesian character will emerge with character in order to increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian nation. This writing method uses a qualitative descriptive method. This writing aims to provide an idea or a new concept in the field of education, especially multicultural education in history learning in schools as an effort to strengthen the character of the nation. The conclusion of this writing is that through multicultural education in history learning, later we will have a young generation with character and uphold multicultural values. It is hoped that with this, the younger generation can be useful and participate in the efforts of the Indonesian people to face global competition in the international world.

The library in a school can be said to be the heart because it is a source of information for teachers and students.The library provides opportunities for students to expand and deepen their knowledge by reading various books.Thus, the library facilitates school residents to find information and knowledge needs and skills needed such as today, including literacy skills.The fact that exists today is that the use of libraries is less organized, the arrangement of books is less neat, and the number of inadequate books is an obstacle in increasing students' interest in reading activities.This study focused on: (1) what is the school literacy movement ?; (2) how to optimize the library for school literacy movements? The results of this study include: (1) school literacy movement is an effort or participatory activity involving all school residents to increase students' interest in reading;(2) optimization of the library carried out by making library activity programs, implementing library programs, and giving rewards related to library programs.
