Abstract

The closure of schools, not only disrupts teaching for students around the world but also affects assessments and causes many exams to be postponed or canceled. The purpose of this study was to determine the e-assessment media used and the barriers for teachers to carry out assessments of economic learning in secondary education units in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive analysis method. The results showed that 59.1% of teachers used google classroom as a medium for assessment and the rest used other applications in the learning assessment process. The obstacles faced include geographical conditions, device specifications, and the level of student activity. The use of this application is tailored to the needs and abilities of teachers and students in combining technology and student assessment needs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of school principals in curriculum and learning management at SDN Manahan Banjasarsari District Surakarta City. The formulation of this research is how the role of school principals in curriculum and learning management, to obtain the data used interview techniques and filling questionnaires. The validity of the data is done by means of source triangulation, ie analyzing the results of interviews and questionnaires based on the theory used and relevant research studies as a comparison material. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis. The results can be concluded that the role of school principals in curriculum management and learning in SDN Manahan is more likely to play a role as a curriculum tool maker. This can be seen from the headmaster not only providing socialization of the 2013 curriculum to teachers and school committees, but also providing socialization to parents.

Abstract

This article describes the results of the study which aims to: (1)  analyze the learning discipline of IVa students of SD Negeri 5 Panjer in 2018; (2) describes the teacher's efforts in overcoming students' indiscipline of learning. This research approach is qualitative by descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of grade IVa SD N 5 Panjer. Data sources of this study are students, teachers, and principals. To maintain the validity of the research data techniques and source triangulation were used. The results showed that the indiscipline of IVa class students included arriving late, not paying attention to the teacher's explanation, entering-leaving the classroom without permission, not collecting tasks on time, not carrying school tools, and skipping school. The efforts made by the teacher overcoming the above include understanding the characteristics of students and  give a warning and advice.

Abstract

School principals had a very important role to create schools which passed Indonesian students who were expected to be smart and competitive so that they could compete in industrial revolution era 4.0. Being school principals was not an easy challenge, especially for novice principals. Transition from teachers to principals inflicted several problems. Therefore, induction program was needed by novice principals. The purpose of this article was to develop an understanding on the concept of induction program for novice principals as an effort to develop professionalism. This article was written based on the result of literature review on novice principals, induction program, and some relevant studies. This article concluded that induction program prepared novice principals to succeed as school principals who were capable to do their roles, main tasks, and functions so that their professionalism was developed. Novice principals would through professional learning process in which they learned to adapt themselves from being teachers to being school principals.

Abstract

Writing poetry is a subject taught at the primary school level. Outdoor learning activities require students directly invited to interact with objects that will be used as material for writing poetry, so that the process of writing poetry learning an object will become more clear and more real. Outdoor learning stimulates the creative power and imagination of the students in order to put their ideas, thoughts, and ideas into poetry. In addition, the teaching and learning process will feel more alive and more fun than by doing the teaching and learning process in the classroom

Abstract

This research activity was motivated by the low interest in learning and the low learning outcomes of students of Aditirto Elementary School, Pejagoan District, Kebumen Regency. This study aims to improve student motivation and learning outcomes in Civics learning about State Institutions in the sixth grade students of Aditirto Elementary School through using the Learning Model "Make A Match with Color Card media". This research is a Class Action Research conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consists of Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. The research subjects were 30 sixth grade students of Aditirto Public Elementary School, in the first semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. Our data collection techniques are done with Observation, Interview and Test as well as data triangulation techniques to maintain data validity and validity. Important results in this study, as well as the conclusions of research activities is that the use of learning models "Make A Match" with Color Card Media" really can improve motivation and learning outcomes of sixth grade students of Aditirto Public Elementary School

Abstract

In Timbulharjo Village, Sewon District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, the Covid-19 pandemic has reached its fifth month. Individual citizens have economic limitations in preventing a pandemic. Refusal of migrants / refugees who need a place of independent isolation has the potential to increase conflict. These conditions make the installation of independent isolation and the accompanying empowerment program needed by community. This program helps solve citizens' problems. The program was built through collaborative community service and facilitation processes, thereby stimulating residents to realize other local initiatives in dealing with Covid-19. This dedication not only provides relief items, but also harmonizes local planning, management and resources that can be carried out independently by the community. Planning and implementation of the program is done on a multi-party basis (pentahelix). Citizens as subjects supported by the village government, educational institutions, business institutions, and the media. University of Pembangunan Nasipnal Veteran Yogyakarta represent educational institutions, in which there are Disaster Management Study Program, Disaster Management Study Centers, Covid-19 Task Force, UPN TV, and Alumni Association.

Abstract

Students are a generation full of potential and achievements. Education at the University should encourage them to develop their hidden potential to become the successor and continuation of national development. Unfortunately, the cultivation of national values is still limited to transfer of knowledge and has not yet reached the transfer of value. Each student has a unique potential that can be developed according to their background and characteristics. There are those who have the potential to become leaders, there are also those who tend to be adaptable and good at establishing interpersonal relationships with other people. But not a few also have temperamental. So it is not uncommon for them to be radical and rebellious. This is where the importance of cultivating the value of nationality so that his critical power is channeled to defend and love his country. This research discusses the program of inculcating national values for the formation of student character carried out by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Sangga Buana University through extra-curricular activities. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach.

Abstract

Education is one important element in changing the life of society. Character education plays a role in shaping the personality of the younger generation. One of the values of character that is not less important to be cultivated to peseta students educate the environment. Through learning social science can include the values of character education by integrating the material in social science learning. Here learners love the environment more in a simple way like throwing garbage in place, taking care of plants, cleaning the environment. To support the learning of Social Sciences then a teacher uses the aid of audio visual learning media so that learners are able to understand the value of environmental care characters. This conceptual article as an insight in instilling the value of environmental caring character in Social Science learning through audio visual media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of students' cooperative skills in entrepreneurial learning. This research approach is a qualitative approach and type of descriptive research. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of Brecong State Elementary School 2 Academic Year 2019/2020. The object of this study is the ability of students to collaborate in learning entrepreneurship. Data analysis was performed using descriptive techniques and existing data in the form of qualitative data from the observation sheets and student questionnaires, which were then described. The results showed that overall the ability of students to collaborate in learning entrepreneurship with "good" criteria with a percentage of 82.75% using the group discussion method. This can be seen from observations that show that students are able to participate in groups, interact face-to-face with their groups, accept responsibility, conduct deliberations, and help each other group members.
