Abstract

Jerawat atau acne vulgaris adalah gangguan inflamasi pada unit ploesebasea, yang berlangsung secara kronis dan dapat sembuh sendiri (self-limited disease). Sirih cina (Peperomia pellucida) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai antibakteri terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri penyebab jerawat. Hasil skrining fitokimia tumbuhan sirih cina atau suruhan ini mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin dan triterpenoid. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen untuk membuat sediaan face balm stick dari daun sirih cina (Peperomia pellucida) sebagai obat jerawat yang dapat menghambat bakteri Propionibacterium acne penyebab jerawat. Metode untuk mendapatan ekstrak adalah dengan maserasi dikarenakan metode dapat menarik senyawa yang tahan pemanasan maupun yang tidak tahan pemanasan. Formula face balm stick yang dibuat akan memvariasikan lanolin dan cera alba sebagai pembentuk masa. Kemudian hasil yang didapat akan dievaluasi terhadap persyaratan fisiknya yaitu meliputi uji pH, uji titik leleh, uji daya lekat, uji organoleptis, uji homogenitas, dan uji iritasi

Abstract

Background: Hand washing education is an effort to convey information, skills and understanding to individuals and the community regarding the importance and correct way to maintain hand hygiene with the aim of increasing awareness of the importance of maintaining hand hygiene in preventing the spread of infection. This is also a collective effort to improve habits in society regarding hand washing. The aim of the research was to see the characteristics of respondents based on gender and age, level of knowledge and the influence of the educational methods provided on knowledge. Methods: Quantitative research design using the pre-experimental method Design One Group Pretest- Posttest (initial test-single group final test). The population in this study was 60 people with a total sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires and data analysis used. namely the Dependent T-test Results: The research results show that the p value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), this means there is a significant difference between the pre and posttest. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha fails to be rejected. So there is an influence of the combined educational method on hand washing knowledge in teenagers at SMPN 39 Samarinda. Conclusion: There is an influence between providing combined education on hand washing on knowledge

Abstract

Background: This research was motivated by observational data which showed that students' knowledge of obesity was very low. To respond to this, researchers conducted research aimed at increasing students' knowledge with the help of booklet media. The objectives to be achieved in this research include increasing students' knowledge about obesity. This research was conducted on students in grades 7 and 8 with a total of 27 students. The results of the research using pre-experimental methods showed an increase in students' knowledge after being given booklet media. Methods: This research was carried out as a quantitative research with a pre-experimental type. The pre-experimental method or One Group Pre-Post Test research is a research method that only uses an experimental group without a control/comparison group. With the form of a pretest-post test design, this research aims to see the differences in obese students before and after being given prevention and treatment using booklet media. Results: Based on statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, it was found that the p-value = 0.000 (smaller than 0.05), which shows that there is a significant difference between students' knowledge before and after being given education. Conclusion: Based on the results of statistical analysis, it shows that the use of booklet media has a significant influence in increasing students' knowledge regarding the prevention and management of obesity.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a condition in which the hemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood is lower than normal is caused by several factors, one of which is the level of knowledge and adherence to the consumption of iron supplements (TTD). The prevalence of anemia among female adolescents at MTs Al Huda Bandungbaru, Adiluwih Subdistrict, was 47%, and in 2024 it increased to 68.2%. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of adherence to iron tablet consumption with the incidence of anemia in female adolescents at MTs Al Huda Bandungbaru, Adiluwih Subdistrict. Methods: This study is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach. The bivariate analysis in this study used the Gamma test. while the sample size was 80 students. Results: The results of this study show that 71.3% of female adolescents were anemic, with the majority having insufficient knowledge (45%) and a high level of non-compliance with iron supplement consumption (76.3%). The bivariate analysis showed a p-value < 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and adherence to iron supplement consumption with the incidence of anemia in female adolescents at MTs Al Huda Bandungbaru, Adiluwih Subdistrict. Conclusion: The high incidence of anemia in young women is influenced by a lack of knowledge and non-compliance with taking blood supplement tablets.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a nutritional problem that often occurs in teenagers. Anemia is a condition where the hemoglobin (Hb) concentration is below normal values, characterized by lethargy, lightheadedness, dizziness and pale skin, which can cause a decrease in school activity and performance due to lack of concentration. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a nutrient that acts as an effective antioxidant or overcomes free radicals which can damage cells or tissues, including protecting the lens from oxidative damage caused by radiation. Method: This research is an experimental study with a complete randomized design of non-factorial experiments that are used homogeneously or there are no other factors that influence responses outside the factors studied. Then continue with organoleptic tests and laboratory tests of the best syrup formula nutrients. Results: Based on the results of this study, the receipt of color was most preferred by panelists in formula 3, 53.3%, the receipt of aroma was most preferred by panelists in formula 3, 53.3%, the receipt of taste was most preferred by panelists in formula 3, 50.0%, the receipt of texture was most preferred by panelists in formula 3, 50.0%. The best formula after an organoleptic test is F3 treatment. And the results of the proximate analysis of F3 treatment per 100 ml are 100.74 Kcal, protein <0.04 grams, fat <0.02 grams, carbohydrates 25.185 grams, water content 74.26%, ash content 0.555%, and vitamin C 4.145%. Conclusion: The best formula for syrup from pineapple peel and orange peel waste is F3 treatment.

Abstract

Background: Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (NSTEMI) involves partial or subtotal obstruction of the coronary arteries, leading to chest pain. This pain is typically managed with pharmacological therapy, followed by further observation in the Intensive Cardiology Care Unit (ICCU). During their care, nurses assist patients with all activities, which can hinder adaptation to the new environment and increase anxiety, negatively impacting sleep quality. Sleep quality is often neglected, despite being crucial for the healing process. This study aims to analyze the implementation of non-pharmacological interventions, specifically nature sound instrumental therapy and foot massage therapy, to improve sleep quality in NSTEMI patients at RSUD Aji Muhammad Parikesit Tenggarong. Methods: This study employs a case study design involving two NSTEMI patients in the ICCU experiencing sleep disturbances. The respondents received an innovative intervention combining nature sound instrumental therapy and foot massage therapy for 7 hours over three nights. Sleep quality was measured using the Sleep Quality Questionnaire (KKT) before and after the intervention, with scores ranging from 0 to 28, where higher scores indicate better sleep quality.Results: After three nights of intervention, Case I showed an improvement in sleep quality from a score of 10 (poor) to 20 (good), while Case II increased from a score of 12 (poor) to 24 (good). There was a significant enhancement in sleep quality following the combination of nature sound instrumental therapy and foot massage therapy.Conclusion: The innovative intervention combining nature sound instrumental therapy with foot massage therapy is effective in improving sleep quality in NSTEMI patients in the ICCU. This method can be beneficial in nursing care for managing patients with sleep disturbances in the ICCU. Abstract

Background: : Training in schools on First Aid in Wounds and Bleeding is intended not only for teachers, but also given to students or all residents in the school environment and this first aid is needed in various emergencies such as injuries and accidents both at home, on the road, at school, and other places. For helpers who lack sufficient knowledge and motivation, tend to avoid helping victims and doing help without being equipped with knowledge will result in fatal conditions in victims and death can occur. Therefore, students' lack of knowledge about first aid in wounds and bleeding can be overcome by providing counseling and training that aims to increase knowledge, and motivation to become better and more knowledgeable in providing first aid in accidents. Objective: To determine the effect of accident first aid training on injuries and bleeding on students' knowledge at MAS Miftahul Ulum Anggana. Methods: The research design used in this study was pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. Results: Results obtained before being given health education average pre-test and post-test scores of 11.89 with std deviation of 1,323 while scores after being given health education average pre-test and post-test of 13.14 with a standard deviation of 1,287, this indicates an increase in student knowledge in filling out questionnaires before and after being given health education. Conclusion: students' lack of knowledge about first aid in wounds and bleeding can be overcome by providing counseling and training that aims to increase knowledge, and motivation to become better and more knowledgeable in providing first aid in accidents
