Abstract

Pandeglang is one of the tourist cities that is a destination for tourists, both local and foreign tourists. In view of this, STKIP Syekh Manshur Research and Community Service Center (P3M) along with the Elementary School Education Study Program conducted research related to the development of tourist villages in developing and empowering the community. This research was conducted in a qualitative method by dividing it into three stages; data reduction, organization and interpretation of data. Data reduction was carried out to identify the raw data obtained through observation and interviews. Organizing is done to collect and unify data information obtained from the results of the initial identification (data reduction process) which is then interpreted to produce a conclusion as clearly discussed in the manuscript.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' reading skills by using the Quick Reading in learning Indonesian short story reading material for class III at SDN Bandung II, Banjar District, Pandeglang Regency. This type of research is a class action research with the John Eliot model using two cycles. The subjects of this study were third grade students of SDN Bandung II for the 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 16 students. Based on the problem formulation regarding students' low understanding of the Indonesian language, it encourages the author to conduct research on how the teacher's efforts to improve understanding in fast reading short story material for elementary school students in this research use the Quick Reading method. This research method refers to the classroom action research design according to John Elliot which includes (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results showed that the use of the quick reading could improve learning activities and students' ability to read short stories. The increase in reading comprehension ability using the quick reading in the first cycle was the initial condition was 67.75 increased to 74.62, the second cycle increased by in the initial condition 74.62 increased to 85.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of physical activity of TNI-AD soldiers in the 201/Jaya Yudha Mechanic Yonif Unit during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a survey method. All TNI-AD Soldiers in the 201 / Jaya Yudha Mechanic Yonif Unit, totaling in 1 company, consisted of 108 people, and the sample was taken using purposive sampling technique, so the sample used was 23 people. The instruments used were a questionnaire about physical activity from Baecke and analysis of BMI (Body Mass Index) with the formula BMI = BW (Kg)/TB (m) 2. The technique of calculating and analyzing data in this research is through a quantitative approach in the form of a percentage. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the results of the average physical activity index when exercising get an average value of 3.4 in the fairly active category, mean that physical activity at the time when you get an average value of 3.5 is in the active category, and the results analysis on the Body Mass Index (BMI) of the soldiers scored 24.2 kg / m2, which means that they are in the Normal category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the practicality of interactive learning media with augmented reality (AR) based on STEAM in learning mathematics in junior high school. This study uses the ADDIE type of research and development method. The subjects of this study were 2 schools consisting of 1 school for the experimental class (15 students) and 1 school for the control class (15 students). The number of teachers involved was 2 teachers for the class. The data collection technique used a questionnaire aimed at teachers and students. The results of the study can be concluded that STEAM-based augmented reality practicum can improve the quality of mathematics learning in junior high school. The results showed that for the individual test, namely 2 teachers who teach mathematics subjects, the percentage was 88.20%. are in the practical category, while in the small group trial, namely 15 students, the percentage of 90.24% is in the very practical category. This study implies that research results can be input for teachers to optimize media and learning approaches, one of which is the use of the STEAM approach with augmented reality media

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the practicality of Teaching Materials in the form of Mathematical Comics using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in learning for junior high school students. Comics are reading materials that are generally more in demand than textbooks by children, especially teenagers. Based on its characteristics, comics contain stories in the form of: Images and text are loaded in text balloons and presented in the form of panels. If comics are presented like the application of a realistic mathematical approach, especially in learning mathematics, it is expected to create an interesting learning atmosphere for students. This research is a development research with ADDIE model. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAN 1 Jambi. While the sample is class X-1 as many as 15 students. The instruments in this study were individual tests by teachers and small group tests by students. Based on the analysis of the data, it was found that the results obtained from the teacher's response questionnaire were 89.40% including practical criteria and student assessments in the form of small group tests 92.40% with very practical criteria. Results Based on the assessment, the mathematical comics developed are valid and can be used as additional material.

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of supervision in the process of monitoring and evaluating MBM activities at the Pandeglang State Madrasah Aliyah. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data is generated through interviews, observation and document analysis. Based on the results of the study it was found that there were still many obstacles faced by schools in implementing MBM. So it is difficult for schools to achieve the desired performance achievements.

Abstract

The study's objectives were to ascertain how the teacher enhanced the recount writing abilities of community clinical pharmacy students at STIKes Widya Dharma Husada Tangerang by having them to watch the "Earth Song" video clip and to assess how much their writing abilities had improved both before and after. Based on the problem regarding the lack of students’ knowledge and interesting media to share ideas in writing. A pre-test and post-test control group design was utilized by the researcher as a quantitative method using a true experimental approach. The respondents were 64 of first semester community clinical pharmacy students, and they were divided into two classes, 01FKKP008 as the experimental class and 01FKKP007 as the control class. In the experimental class, the researcher taught recount writing by using the video clip, whereas in the control class, only the conventional method was used. The result showed that the experimental group's mean score increased from 41.81 to 81.59, while the control group's score went up from 37.31 to 58.93. It can be concluded that teaching recount writing through the "Earth Song" video clip has been implemented appropriately, as evidenced by the fact that the score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. As a result, the video clip was an effective medium to be used in enhancing recount writing skills.
