Abstract

Landscape is stated as a land that has certain forming elements, composition and characteristics as its differentiator. (Dina et al., 2005) According to Eckbo in his book entitled "Lanscape for Living" landscape as part of the land area built or formed by humans outside buildings, roads, utilities, to the wild nature which is designed primarily as a place for humans to live. According to Simon (19983) landscape is a natural landscape that has certain characteristics that can be enjoyed through all the senses that humans have.

Abstract

Significant developments in the Indonesian economy can be attributed to its tourism sector, as stated by Santosa (2011:34). In recent years, Barreto and Giantari (2015:34) have observed the growth of the Indonesian tourism industry. According to Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism, this sector includes various activities supported by facilities and services provided by individuals, companies, government agencies, and local governments. Certain tourist destinations are promoted, managed, and developed by tourism business actors to increase regional economic income through visitor attraction. This business was created to support tourism growth. The goal is to attract tourists by carrying out activities that meet their needs. Meanwhile, based on Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism, it states that Tourism Business is a business that provides goods and/or services to meet the needs of tourists and organize tourism.

Abstract

Cafes are now a trend for many people and can be found anywhere with a variety of concepts offered to attract interest in visiting. Cafes usually have an attractive and unique interior design, thus creating a comfortable atmosphere for customers. Some cafes have a particular theme or concept, such as a cafe with a vintage concept or a cafe with a nature concept, thus creating a different experience for customers. In general, a cafe or cafeteria is a suitable place for customers who want to enjoy food, drinks and a relaxed and informal atmosphere. This study aims to design facilities and café serenity landscapes. This study used a qualitative method which was obtained through direct visits to Café Serenity. The data collection method is by conducting interviews with the Owner Café Serenity. The results of the discussion from this study are that space planning applies a lot of modern street art styles. The use of color in the cafe does not use a lot of bright colors. The color used is gray. The dominant rural nuance and the combination of streets gives a natural and modern impression. Serenity Café Design Design which is located on Jl. Tiung Raya, State Housing Corporation, Medan City, North Sumatra. This location was chosen by the author because it has a strategic location, especially in urban areas. The Owner Cafe aims to build the cafe, so that visitors can hang out comfortably and provide an industrial, aesthetic concept atmosphere, but still far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Industrial style is an applied art in which the aesthetics and usability (ease of using an item) of an item are perfected.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate Bukit Lawang tour packages through qualitative methods by distributing questionnaires directly to tourists. The main focus is to analyze the level of tourist satisfaction with tour packages and the performance of Bukit Lawang as a tourism destination. The evaluation results show that Bukit Lawang tour packages have managed to achieve a high level of satisfaction, with around 94% of tourists satisfied with their experience. Factors such as the level of satisfaction of the tourist experience are the main reasons for visiting again and the Bukit Lawang area is clean, beautiful and still maintained. In addition, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Cartesius charts are used to evaluate the importance of these factors and the extent to which the tour package has met the expectations of tourists. The results of this analysis provide deep insight into the areas that need improvement in the development of tour packages. Although it has achieved a high level of satisfaction, this evaluation emphasizes the importance of continuous maintenance and improvement to maintain the attractiveness and quality of Bukit Lawang tour packages. This evaluation has an important impact in supporting the development and sustainability of tourism in Bukit Lawang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the culinary potential of pindang in Ogan Ilir Regency as an alternative gastronomic tourism which can be one of the tourist attractions. This research was carried out observantly with descriptive and analytical survey methods. The primary data in this study was obtained from the respondents' answers to a series of questions through questionnaires built and interviews conducted. The descriptive analysis was used to produce statistics on the frequency of respondent data in 2 categories, namely based on demographics and behavior. The characteristics of the work are divided into four groups (ASN/TNI/POLRI/BUMN-BUMD), private employees, self-employed/entrepreneurs and students; and the category of residence location is divided into 4 groups. The results of this consumer preference research showed that the dominance of 84 percent of respondents preferred to pay in cash or cash, while the other 12 percent made payments with the choice of banking QRIS. The preference of consumers was influenced by the following factors: (i) the preferences of consumers were divided into two categories: (1) the preference of a restaurant or restaurant, (2) the preference for a food product, and (3) the preference to eat a meal. In this research, there were three main inputs that can be aimed at managers or owners of restaurants or pin-dang restaurants.

Abstract

This research was conducted as a deepening of previous research results related to consumer perceptions of pindang products. The research is qualitative in nature and was carried out in an experimental form in three stages and a participatory approach method, namely (1) inducing research results to informants/participants, (2) providing assistance and experimentation on pindang products according to consumer expectation findings, (3) and conducting deep interview evaluations on product quality and consumer feedback. The research aims to provide new insights for the informants, who are members of the community/managers of restaurants and eateries in Ogan Ilir Regency, regarding the quality of pindang products. The research shows significant changes in the management of pindang products, both Pindang Pegagan and Pindang Meranjat. Consumers have responded positively to the results of the pindang products with the new management that has been implemented. An increase in sales potential has occurred and the selling value has improved, but further research is needed on this matter through quantitative data findings. In the final stage, the informants agreed to create a distinctive regional culinary image from the produced pindang. In the long term, success will certainly make an attraction for the culinary marketing of Ogan Ilir, which will impact the growth of tourist visits.

Abstract

Marketing is an effort to maintain and keep a business growing and can help expand the business. This study aims to determine how to apply the 7P marketing mix to increase the number of visitors to the Coffee Shop called Ibrato Coffee, and to determine what factors are obstacles and supporters in its implementation. This study is a qualitative study with a description of the 7P variables in the marketing mix, namely product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence. This study uses interview data collection techniques, observation and documentation with purposive sampling techniques. The unit of analysis in this study consisted of 6 informants, consisting of the owner, employees and visitors of the Coffee Shop. The results of this study using interview analysis techniques, show that the marketing mix strategy applied at the Ibrato Coffee Shop to increase the number of visitors in the marketing process has been implemented well and effectively, and has good procedures in dealing with consumers. Consumers who visit are satisfied with the service provided

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the effect of memorable tourist experience on tourists’ revisit intention in Tidung Island. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method and purposive sampling based on non-probability sampling, involving 100 respondents who had previously visited Tidung Island. Data were collected through a Google Form questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS version 25. The results indicate that memorable tourist experience has a significant effect on revisit intention. The indicators of involvement and knowledge showed significant results in creating a memorable impression on tourists visiting Tidung Island. In contrast, the indicators of refreshment and social interactions were not sufficient to provide a significant effect on the memorable tourist experience in Tidung Island. These finding suggests that destination managers need to pay more attention to these aspects in order to enhance the value of memorable tourist experiences and motivate tourists to revisit.

Abstract

Culinary tourism in the tourist area has an important role, where its existence is an inseparable unit of the destination. Therefore, the development of the two tourism companies support each other and have close links. This is seen in the Berastagi tourist destination in Tanah Karo Regency, North Sumatra, where in addition to having beautiful natural scenery and mountains, cool air is also supported by the availability of a variety of traditional Karo culinary processed from raw materials that are processed from raw materials sourced from the natural wealth of the land of Karo itself, making unique, some Asian and Italy foods produced with the taste of Karo which are currently served by many MSMEs (UMKM) in Berastagi Tanah Karo which are expected by sellers or owners of tourist attractions as well as MSMEs (UMKM) culinary tourism, Being one of the culinary tourist attractions and at the same time the introduction of Karo's typical food to tourists who come to visit. This study intends to assess the effect of digital marketing on MSMEs (UMKM) culinary tourism in this case digital marketing through the use of social media as a means of promotion and sales. In addition, this study also examined the application of digital marketing strategies in culinary tourism areas, especially in Berastagi Tanah Karo, North Sumatra. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Research findings revealed that various successful digital marketing strategy methods in promoting efficient online products or marketing succeeded in achieving targets, one of which was digital marketing through social media that had a positive impact on sales and benefits of MSMEs (UMKM) Culinary Tourism.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the perspective of tourism development in Huta Sialagan Village, Samosir Regency, in supporting the existence of the Toba Caldera as part of the UNESCO Global Geopark. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through the library research method, this research explores the concepts, principles, and application of geotourism based on four main aspects: tourism, accommodation, interpretation, and planning management. The results of the study show that the geotourism potential in this village is very large, especially from the cultural and historical aspects, but has not been fully integrated with the geological narrative of the Toba Caldera. The lack of interpretive media, limited eco-friendly accommodation, and the absence of geotourism-based zoning are the main challenges. The research also found that community participation, business involvement, and support from related agencies still need to be strengthened through training, digital promotion strategies, and integrated planning based on geopark principles. Therefore, the development of geotourism in Huta Sialagan Village requires cross-sector collaboration and a sustainable approach to support the preservation of the Toba Caldera while improving the welfare of local communities.
