Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to determine the curriculum of the Development Center for Teaching Foreign Language in Secondary School. The truth came, whether or not the curriculum fulfills the elements in the curriculum. They are compiled from the first curriculum-making, curriculum objectives, content or study materials, and the teaching and evaluation process. And the type of research in this research is a field research with a qualitative approach of using the curriculum that has been made in the developmental center for foreign language teaching. Data collection is done with observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis uses four stages, which are through data collection, data consolidation, data presentation and conclusion. As for the results of the research, it is an analysis of the curricula of the Development Center for Teaching Foreign Languages in improving the skill of the Arabic language, and showing that the curriculum used has fulfilled the elements of the curriculum, namely the objectives of the curriculum and the content or study materials and the teaching and evaluation process. The teaching process is still not perfect due to the impossibility of time and the curricula are taught differently. As for the inhibiting factors, it is the gathering time because everyone has a busy life, irregularities between the basis and the wishes of the coach. The supporting factors are the support of the curriculum to a large extent by the institution as a trainer for students to speak foreign (Arabic) fluently. So the curriculum has not been completely maximized.

Abstract

Language wisdom is a language unit selection strategy that is used to become a filter in dealing with language communication in terms of pragmatics in the digital era 4.0. The strategy for selecting language units in this study is based on the classification of speech acts and the principles of politeness in language used in vocabulary in the book chapter “Time for Freedom to Learn” by Nino Indrianto et al. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques using library research techniques. Where the research data is in the form of sentences related to language wisdom with a pragmatic review of the book chapter "Time for Freedom to Learn" section of Language Learning and the source of data in this study is the book chapter "Time for Freedom to Learn" by Nino Indrianto et al. Published by Akademia Pustaka, Tulungagung in 2021, the first printing with a total of 238 pages. The results of this study indicate that there is a link between language wisdom in terms of pragmatics, where the strategy for selecting language units is seen from two aspects, namely the classification of speech acts and the principle of politeness. From the findings of the research, the percentage of speech act classification that is more dominant is derived from directives, with the highest percentage being 58.3% in the second text. Where the directive is a form of speech act that makes the speech partner do something on what is recommended by the speaker. Thus, the second text conveys more positive suggestions or recommendations in an effort to improve language learning. While in terms of politeness principles, it can be concluded that the maxim that often appears in the data text is the side of generosity, with a percentage of 34.69%. Where the reader shows more good nature, generosity, good character, and good character.

Abstract

AbstractReading is considered one of the most important acquired skills that achieve success and enjoyment for every individual during his life, on the grounds that reading is an integral part of personal and professional life and is the key to the gates of various sciences and knowledge. Reading skill is not enough with the student's intelligence, but rather is concerned with the presence of external and internal factors that encourage reading. Reading is the main source for learning the Arabic language and requires special and varied training. The teacher should pay attention to the steps of teaching the skill of reading according to the desired objectives. Teaching the skill of reading to non-native speakers requires special steps between the two types of intensive reading and the extended reading chosen by the teacher in education. And the reading test to reveal the level of the learners so that the problem of weakness of the students appears and the teacher can direct the student to an appropriate study program.

Abstract

AbstractThe goal of this study was to evaluate the implementation in the Language Program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Qodiri Jember, East Java, of direct methods for learning speaker skills other than non-Arabic speakers. Using observation, interview and reporting methods, the approach used is a qualitative method. As for the outcomes of implementing the direct method for learning speaking abilities, this method contributes a great deal to Arabic speaking, especially in the development of a language environment, this method also gives students trust in this school environment.

Abstract

International Muhammadiyah Boarding School (IMBS) Pekajangan Pekalongan regency has implemented an Arabic language environment, but the environment has not developed well, because many teachers and students have not been consistent in using Arabic. The other reason is that IMBS Pekajangan Pekalongan has two management, namely management, namely school management and pesantren management. This research aims to find out how the implementation of changes in management of International Muhammadiyah Boarding School (IMBS) Pekajangan Pekalongan Regency in developing the Arabic language environment and what problems it faces and how the solution. This research uses a qualitative approach with this type of field research, and the analytical method is to select data, display data, conclude and investigate. The results showed that: 1.  The application of changes in pesantren management to develop the Arabic language environment at the International Muhammadiyah Boarding School (IMBS) Pekajangan Pekalongan Regency is in accordance with the correct theory. The proof is that  IMBS Pekajangan Pekalongan Regency  has succeeded in changing its management so that the Arabic language environment there has developed; 2. Problems in implementing management changes include:  a. Rejection from some teachers and employees at the International Muhammadiyah Boarding School (IMBS) Pekajangan Pekalongan Regency, b. The problem of lack of language mastery skills  Arab the teachers and principals themselves, c. Problems in choosing the right method in changing management; 3. Troubleshooting solution: a. All teachers and principals emphasize the importance of management changes to improve the quality of the institution, b. Provide an explanation of the benefits of management changes obtained by teachers and principals, c. Provide guidance and motivation to teachers that this management change will be easy if all elements of change, especially teachers, are against the planned policy, d. Pesantren administrators recruit teachers from pesantren graduates, especially those who have more skills in the field of Arabic, e. Provide Arabic vocabulary training to teachers and employees, f. Pesantren administrators conduct comparative studies to pesantren that have successfully implemented the Arabic environment, g. Consultation with pesantren leaders who have successfully implemented the Arabic language environment, h. Restrictions on interaction between students and teachers and employees who do not understand the language of Arab. This effort aims to minimize the use of Indonesian in everyday conversations.

Abstract

Tujuan dari naskah ini untuk paparan bagaimana cara menganalisis instrumen kualitatif untuk butir-butir tentang dengan benar. Instrumen apapun yang akan digunakan untuk menilai data harus memenuhi syarat sebagai instrumen yang baik. Sebelum instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai dan mengumpulkan data, instrumen menilai terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji coba, sehingga instrumen memiliki ciri tertentu untuk menghasilkan data yang akurat. Abstract

The ability to make all students able to practice speaking Arabic in everyday life is not easy to apply to every particular institute or educational institution. Because it requires an intensive and patient process. The Institute of Reform is a boy's institute but is competitive and proven. The purpose of this research is: 1. To learn the implementation of speech skill education. 2. Detecting the factors supporting speech skills at the Institute of Reform in Jigwah. 3. Detection of inhibiting factors to learn the skill of speech at the Institute of Reform in Jigwah.This research used the qualitative input, the descriptive approach, which was signed at the Institute of Reform in Jigwah. The way to identify the search detective is in the "purposive sampling" way. Data collection method:1. Note 2. Interview 3. Documents. The researcher uses data analysis on three identical activities, including data classification, data presentation and summary. The results of this research are: implementation of speech skill education at the Institute of Reform in improving the quality of speech skill for students of the Reform Institute has several stages: 1. Vocabulary Preservation, 2. Speech Application, 3. Understand the rules. Supporting factors that support the successful implementation of speech skill education at the Institute of Reform in the formation of students who are experts in the practice of speech skill, among other things. Compulsory Arabic System, B. Professional Teacher, J. Morning Grammar Method, D. Effective and Appropriate Environment.3 Inhibition factors hinder the successful implementation of speech skill education at the Institute of Reform in the Formation of Students who are experts in the practice of speech skill, among other things: A. Abstract

Online learning media used by lecturers in lectures requires them to provide several links to materials and assignments to students. The number of links provided has the potential to cause difficulties for students to store, remember and access these links. This study aims to explain the creation and use of the At-Talkhis Learning Management System (LMS) for learning Arabic. This research method uses the agile method, which is one method that is quite popular today because it offers flexibility, so the author can return to an earlier phase if any changes are needed. The results of this study are the process of making At-Talkhis using hyperlinks on MS Power Point to create a format (Portable Document Format), how to use it and the results of the student response survey, based on the survey results 98.7% of students gave a positive response to the use of At-Talkhis. in Arabic courses. The advantage of At-Talkhis is that it is easy to use because its features are common, cheap because the features are free for the public and can be added with various other media to support Arabic learning. the disadvantages of At-Talkhis are internet signal constraints, not all lecturers can make attractive designs and difficulties in compiling what features will be included in the Learning Management System.

Abstract

The dictionary is a tool that man generally uses to facilitate his understanding of the meaning of a particular word, whether in Arabic, English or any language in the world. Because dictionary function is a tool to help other people know the meaning of language, it is also appropriate that the dictionary is prepared in a systematic way that is easy to understand and easy for users to use a dictionary. As Tawfiq al-Rahman mentioned, the full dictionary is a dictionary that contains all words in a particular language and is equipped with an explanation of its meaning and derivation and the technique of expression and arguments (evidence) that explain the use of the word. From this point of view we can understand that the dictionary created or designed must contain criteria that can make it easier for users to find the meaning of words and facilitate their use on users.This research is qualitative research according to the study issue of this thesis, then this type of research belongs to the category of literary research (library research), that is, first, by recording all the results related to the driving of consumption in general in each research discussion found in literature and sources, and/or other discoveries on consumption-driven behavior that can affect the cycle of supply and demand. After taking notes, secondly, mix any results, whether they are theory or new results about consumer behavior III, analyze all the results from different readings, related to the absence of each source or feature or relationship about the speech discussed in it. The last is criticism, giving ideas. Similarities between the previous two dictionaries, the KABA and MUNAWWIR dictionary, are located in the writing system and dictionary type. The writing system that uses the principle of orderly (serial) alphabets makes these dictionaries equal to each other. It is also about the type of dictionary that is a kind of verbal dictionary in terms of the differences between these two dictionaries, namely kaba dictionary (great dictionary of Arabic) and munawwir dictionary is largely, but in short the researcher can state that the writing of the KABA dictionary almost reaches the complete and perfect dictionary method, while the MUNAWWIR dictionary is so far from perfect that it is not worthy as the perfect dictionary in terms of rules. But it is still very biased to use for those who know the basic rules of Arabic.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to describe the role of central language improvement section of Modern Islamic Boarding School Gontor for Girl to improve student’s speaking skill in their language event. Research method used to collect data is observation, interview and reporting, the approach used is a qualitative method. The result of this study is the central language improvement holding many language events to motivate students in their Arabic speaking and to improve student’s speaking skills.
