Abstract

The rising use of digital financial services specifically the "buy now, pay later" service Kredivo on the Shopee platform reflects a shift in the transaction behavior of university students. Ease of use, promotions, and perceived risk are hypothesized to influence the intention to use this service, though the specific impact of each factor requires empirical verification. This study aims to analyze the influence of ease of use, promotions, and perceived risk on the intention to use Kredivo on Shopee. A quantitative approach employing descriptive and associative methods was used, involving 87 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at PGRI Palembang University, selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that ease of use and perceived risk significantly influence the intention to use Kredivo, whereas promotions do not have a significant effect. Collectively, the three variables significantly influence the intention to use Kredivo, explaining 49.2% of the variance in usage intention, with the remainder attributed to factors outside the scope of this study. These findings suggest that enhancing service ease and managing perceived risk are crucial factors in boosting the intention to use Kredivo.

Abstract

The Rammang-Rammang Karst is one of Indonesia's prominent nature-based tourism destinations with significant geological, ecological, and tourism values, requiring effective operational risk management to ensure its sustainability. The increasing number of tourism activities has the potential to generate operational risks that may affect service quality, visitor safety, comfort, and environmental conservation if not properly managed. This study aimed to evaluate the performance and importance levels of operational risk attributes and to formulate operational risk mitigation strategies to support the sustainability of the Rammang-Rammang Karst Area in South Sulawesi. A quantitative approach was employed using purposive sampling involving 190 visitors. Data were analyzed using the Risk Evaluation Matrix (REM) to assess risk levels based on frequency and impact, and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to identify the priority of operational risk attributes according to visitors' perceptions. The findings revealed that Operational Risk Management Strategy were classified into retain risk, transfer risk, reduce risk, and avoid risk categories. The IPA results indicated that most operational attributes were positioned in Quadrant IV (Possible Overkill), while three attributes toilets, waste bins, and directional signage were located in Quadrant I (Concentrate Here), indicating that they require immediate improvement. Accordingly, the proposed mitigation strategies emphasize improving supporting facilities and infrastructure through regular toilet maintenance, strengthening waste management systems, and providing more informative directional signage. These strategies are expected to reduce operational risks, improve service quality, enhance visitor satisfaction, and support the sustainable management of the Rammang-Rammang Karst as a nature-based tourism destination.

Abstract

The evolution of digital payment systems has prompted MSMEs to offer transaction methods that are practical, fast, and aligned with consumer needs. Transaction convenience and the use of QRIS are believed to influence purchasing decisions, yet the specific impact of each factor requires empirical verification. This study aims to analyze the influence of transaction convenience and the QRIS-based digital payment system on purchasing decisions at the Al-Amin Bakery MSME. A quantitative, associative research approach was employed, involving 90 respondents selected via purposive sampling from a total population of 864 consumers. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, t-tests, and F-tests using SPSS version 26. The results indicate that transaction convenience has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, whereas the QRIS-based digital payment system does not have a significant effect. However, when considered together, transaction convenience and the QRIS-based digital payment system exert a significant influence on purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that transaction convenience plays a more pivotal role in driving purchasing decisions than the use of the QRIS-based digital payment system.

Abstract

The rising use of TikTok Shop as an e-commerce platform reflects a shift in consumer shopping behavior, particularly among university students who are heavy social media users. Live streaming features and sales promotions are believed to drive impulsive buying, although the specific impact of each factor requires empirical verification. This study aims to analyze the influence of live streaming and sales promotions on impulsive buying among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Palembang, who use or have used TikTok Shop. A quantitative approach employing descriptive and verification methods was used, with 91 respondents selected via non-probability sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results indicate that live streaming has a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying, whereas sales promotions do not have a significant effect. However, when combined, live streaming and sales promotions exert a significant influence on impulsive buying. These findings suggest that the interaction and product information delivery facilitated by live streaming are crucial drivers of spontaneous purchases, while sales promotions are more effective when supported by engaging and communicative live streaming sessions.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Pentahelix collaboration model for wellness tourism development targeting Generation Z at Sikunir Hill, Telaga Warna, and Sikarim Waterfall in the Dieng area, designated as a National Geopark in May 2025. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observations, structured interviews, and document analysis. Fourteen informants were purposively selected from Pentahelix elements—government, academia, business, community, and media—as well as Generation Z tourists. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Generation Z represents a dominant visitor segment, with healing and stress relief as primary motivations. They rely heavily on social media for travel information and seek authentic, Instagrammable, and sustainable experiences. Pentahelix collaboration has been implemented but remains partial. The government primarily functions as a regulator and infrastructure facilitator, academia provides scientific knowledge, while businesses and local communities contribute to the local economy through souvenir businesses, homestays, and tourism services. Social media also supports destination promotion and environmental conservation campaigns. However, development is constrained by weak cross-sector communication, the absence of a sustainable coordination forum, limited local tourism human-resource capacity, government dominance, and inadequate integrated digital promotion, infrastructure, and technology adoption. The proposed model emphasizes a shared vision, regular coordination forums, community empowerment, an integrated “Dieng Wellness Escape” package, Augmented Reality (AR), and collaboration with influencers and content creators.

Abstract

The waste problem in Kosar Village, Cipeundeuy Subdistrict, Subang Regency, does not stem solely from inadequate infrastructure, but also from the way residents perceive and manage waste, particularly the habit of mixing kitchen waste with plastic wrappers and cans in a single disposal container. This study aims to examine the extent to which residents of Kosar Village understand the differences between organic and inorganic waste, as well as to identify the factors underlying their relatively simple waste management practices. The researchers conducted direct field observations, interviewed community leaders and environmental cadres, and reviewed supporting documents from the village office. The findings indicate that residents' understanding of waste classification is relatively adequate; however, this understanding is rarely followed by consistent action. Waste sorting is still considered inconvenient and has not yet become part of residents' daily habits. This condition is largely influenced by limited environmental education, the lack of adequate waste-sorting facilities, and long-standing practices of burning or indiscriminately disposing of waste. This study concludes by proposing several practical measures, including continuous and tiered environmental education and strengthening the role of environmental cadres, which are expected to encourage changes in residents' habits toward more organized and sustainable waste management.

Abstract

The implementation of the Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T) in Bukit Sangkal Urban Village, Kalidoni District, Palembang City, was motivated by the limited use of digital media for promoting MSME products and managing public information, as well as the need to optimize local environmental potential and green open spaces. The program aims to enhance community understanding and skills regarding digital marketing, strengthen public communication, develop a QR Code-based digital flora information system, and encourage sustainable environmental management. A participatory approach was employed, involving observation, coordination, interactive outreach, training, mentoring, and direct collaboration between students and the community. Activities included training on digital marketing and MSME branding; seminars on entrepreneurship and product packaging; QR Code-based flora digitization at the ProKlim Park; optimization of the Organic Waste Bank through the processing of dry leaves into compost; and community-wide cleanup events and fitness exercises. Results indicated an 85% improvement in MSME players' understanding and skills in using digital media for promotion, the creation of digital product catalogs and QR Code-based flora information, and the successful conversion of dry leaf waste into useful compost. The initiative demonstrates that a participatory approach integrating public communication, MSME digitization, simple technology, and environmental management can deliver tangible benefits to the community while supporting the sustainability of economic and environmental assets in Bukit Sangkal Urban Village.

Abstract

The implementation of English language learning at the primary education level requires teachers to be prepared in terms of both English language competence and pedagogical competence. This Community Service (PKM) activity aimed to improve the competence and readiness of teachers at SDN Girimekar 3 Bandung to prepare for and implement English language instruction. The activity was conducted through several stages: needs analysis, pre-test, training, microteaching, and post-test. A learning-by-doing approach was implemented through demonstrations, practice, feedback, and reflection. The microteaching sessions provided teachers with opportunities to practice the use of classroom English, giving instructions, questioning, games, speaking activities, the use of teaching media, and classroom management. The results indicated an improvement in teachers’ competence and readiness, as reflected in the comparison of pre-test and post-test results, microteaching performance, and participants’ reflections. The activity demonstrates that integrating English language competence, pedagogical knowledge, teaching practice, and reflection represents a relevant approach to preparing primary school teachers for the implementation of English language instruction.
