Abstract

Cyberbullying is an action taken by a person or group of people against another individual through text messages, pictures/photos, or videos that tend to humiliate and harass. The purpose of this service is to provide an understanding of the impact caused by students' negligence in using social media, increase students' knowledge of intelligence in responding to the world of social media, and increase self-awareness of wisdom in using social media. The location of the service is at SMP Negeri 3 Bilah Hulu, the subject of the service related to the socialization of the impact of cyberbullying on teenagers is teenagers who use social media services or platforms. Most of the teenage respondents said that cyberbullying was inappropriate behavior among teenagers, was an act of crime, harmed others, and endangered others. They also understand behavioral indicators that lead to cyberbullying behavior.

Abstract

The people of Imabatai village live in the Nuduasiwa customary forest group and 45 heads of families work as farmers who practice the shifting farming system. The average area of shifting cultivation carried out is 0.3 ha / KK / year. This means that there is damage to the forest ecosystem of 13.5 ha / year. The purpose of this service activity is to increase farmers' understanding of the impact of shifting farming practices on the destruction of forest ecosystems. This counseling activity succeeded in increasing the understanding of Imabatai village farmers by 80% (36 heads of families were able to understand the impact of shifting farming practices).

Abstract

Background: Caring is an important thing that must be owned by nurses to perform services to patients. Caring must be familiarized starting from educational programs or students. Objective: Increase attitude about caring for nursing students Methods: Using counseling by video method, which was done on 30 nursing students. Results: The results of caring attitudes from measurements before counseling with video media obtained an average score of 3.4 out of a total score of 5, after counseling with video media, which was 4.2 out of a maximum score of 5. Conclusion: Counseling with video media can improve the caring attitude of nursing students.

Abstract

PT Digital Desa Indonesia has a vision to maximize the potential of Indonesian villages through digital products, so it's critical for the businesses to manufacture high-quality goods and support the development of villages. Therefore, the fundamental indicator of a project's success in product development is a professional project manager. Through the incorporation of self-awareness into the project work processes, this service seeks to increase the emotional intelligence of project managers. Application of this program refers to the three phases of the project workflow, namely planning, implementation, and monitoring, and the job description for the position of Project Manager. Project managers have high emotional intelligence as a competency in human resource firm development as a result of applying self-awareness at program. Data were gathered through unstructured interviews and observations. Emotional intelligence is a requirement for project manager jobs to perform their duties and obligations. Self-awareness in particular needs to be grasped as a fundamental component.

Abstract

Suli Village, Salahutu Sub District, Central Maluku Districts is one of the coastal villages located in the east and directly opposite Baguala Bay, Ambon Island. As a Coastal Village, Suli has various potentials for biological natural resources. This existing potential must be managed by taking into account the conservation aspects, namely, protection, preservation, and utilization, to remain sustainable. The problems that arise in Suli Village include the lack of sensitivity among the community to be able to manage the environment properly. If left unchecked, natural resources which are the potential for development will be damaged and cause other problems in society. This is a challenge in the management of natural resources and existing ecosystems because they must maintain a balance between meeting human needs and the sustainability of their use to support life in development. To realize sustainable development, one of the efforts that can be done is to implement conservation activities as mandated in Constitution Number 5 of 1990. One way to do this is to carry out community service activities. This activity aims to conserve natural resources and the biodiversity contain while at the same time encouraging the achievement of sustainable development goals starting from the smallest community groups. The activities carried out are socializing the importance of living natural resources and their conservation efforts, environmental problems due to waste, and encouraging environmental conservation activities by becoming a customer of a waste bank. Finally, this service activity also indirectly contributes to the achievement of several goals and targets in the SDGs. Among the goals achieved were the environmental pillars, especially Goal 13 (handling climate change) and Goal 15 (terrestrial ecosystems).

Abstract

SDN 9 Mamboro is one of the schools in Palu City that has launched a literacy and numeracy program. Observations conducted by the service team showed that the literacy and numeracy practices at this school were not optimal. The implementation is still at the habituation stage, directing students to read for 15 minutes at the beginning of the lesson and the implementation is not routine. The book collection and the number of students visiting the library were also lacking, the reading corner was inadequate, the learning methods used were conventional and most teachers did not have the necessary skills to create ICT-based learning media. Based on these observations, the service team and the principal agreed to provide training and assistance in literacy and numeracy activities through the use of bulletin integrated character education (BICE) media. The expected goal of this activity is to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills. The average pretest score of literacy and numeracy skills was 38.29 and increased to 84.92 during the posttest.

Abstract

The impact of technological advances and globalization’s influence is strongly felt, especially by MSME players. Designing a branding of MSME products and understanding MSMEs in the use of digital as a medium in branding is one of the techniques in sustainable business development. This service program provides education and training on branding and marketing to utilize digital media through the preparation stage, implementation of activities, and evaluation as the final stage of activities. The desired result of this activity is the creation of product brands to increase and promote MSME products and branding recommendations to create trademarks that can increase citizen awareness of MSME products. As well as the skills and knowledge of MSME managers to carry out branding through the implementation of workshops. So that it can strengthen MSME products, which of course can help business actors expand market share, and introduce and promote products to the public and potential MSME customers in Riang Gede village.

Abstract

This service aims to assist BUMDes so they can find out village potential that can be developed. The mentoring method is carried out starting from the FGD to collect various inputs and evaluations on the BUMDes DAU. After that, a field survey was assisted by the Student PMM Team to find out the real condition of BUMDes. Finally, mentoring is carried out to solve all existing problems. The results of this service are several strategies that can be offered to improve the management of BUM Desa Petungsewu, including that BUM Desa needs to develop strategic partnerships in the form of BUMDes cooperation between villages or cooperation with the private sector. Therefore, the Matching Fund Program will be very helpful for the success of this strategy.

Abstract

This article describes the activities of implementing the CEFR-based communicative language approach at the junior high school level. There are 16 students involved and are at the level of Movers A1 and Flyers A2 based on the CEFR concept. The main purpose of this activity is to provide an English learning experience that is different from what is applied in schools. This activity avoids the use of grammatical theory based and prioritizes oral communication activities that connect students with the real environment. Activities using media that are already available in the learning environment of students and learning topics are designed according to the needs of students. The activity is very structured and involves five aspects of assessment, namely Range of Vocabulary, Accuracy, Fluency, Interaction, and Coherence.

Abstract

Prediabetes merupakan kondisi seseorang dengan kadar gula darah berisiko diabetes mellitus, namun belum dikategorikan diabetes mellitus. Berdasarkan data dari setiap Puskesmas di Aceh Barat Tahun 2018 yaitu Puskesmas Johan Pahlawan, Suak Ribe, Meureubo, Peureumeu Arongan Lambalek, Kaway XVI DM selalu menempati 10 penyakit PTM terbanyak, dan terutama yang menyumbang adalah daerah perkotaan. Gampong Kampung Belakang merupakan salah satu kampung yang menjadi wilayah kerja puskesmas johan pahlawan yang terletak di daerah perkotaan yang merupakan penyumbang salah satu kasus DM terbanyak. Berdasarkan hasil survey awal (Putri, dan Is, 2017) Gampoeng Kampung Belakang (40%) penduduknya berada pada kelompok prediabetes disebabkan oleh gaya hidup (pola makan dan olahraga yang tidak sehat). Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah implementasi model pola makan dan olahraga pada kelompok prediabetes dalam upaya pencegahan kasus diabetes mellitus di Aceh Barat. Metode pengabdian adalah dengan melakukan pemicuan pola makan dan olahraga pada kelompok prediabetes dalam bentuk demo masak, olahraga, dan pemberian menu makanan anti diabetes yang diimplementasikan dalam tiga bulan. Hasil pengabdian mampu membentuk pola makan dan olahraga pada kelompok prediabetes, sehingga mampu mencegah diabetes. Kesimpulan pengabdian dalam bentuk pemicuan dan pengontrolan selama tiga bulan mampu membentuk perilaku pencegahan diabetes mellitus pada kelompok prediabetes. Saran kepada aparatur gampong, warga, dan petugas kesehatan untuk dapat melakukan pengabdian serupa secara simultan pada kelompok prediabetes untuk membentuk dan menjaga pola perilaku pencegahan diabetes mellitus.
