Abstract

A sustainable lifestyle has evolved since COVID-19, influencing the growth of organic food consumption in Indonesia. This growth is driven by various factors, primarily related to health and environmental concerns. This study aims to analyze the organic food purchasing intentions of Bali residents using the variables of LOHAS Consumption Tendency (LCT) and Perceived Consumer Effectiveness (PCE), with trust as a mediating factor. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is applied to formulate the hypotheses. A quantitative method is employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to the target respondents. The total sample consists of 205 respondents aged 18 and above, residing in Bali. SEM-PLS is used for data analysis, revealing that LCT and PCE positively impact organic food purchase intention, LCT and PCE positively impact trust, and trust has a positive effect on organic food purchase intention, serving as a mediator between LCT, PCE, and organic food purchase intention.

Abstract

Gender Equality is a very important social issue and is widely discussed in various circles, especially in an organization. Gender equality is applied due to gender discrimination revolving around the inequality of opportunities that employees have in improving work performance and developing careers in a company organization, both private and government companies, especially female workers or employees. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of gender equality on work performance, career development with organizational culture as an intervening variable (case study: Medan city civil servants. The data collection method for this study is in the form of a questionnaire that will be distributed to civil servants in Medan City using Likert Scale Measurement. The population in this study were all employees who work as civil servants in the Medan City area. The population of civil servants in Medan City in 2023 is 10318 spread across all government agencies in Medan City. This study uses snowball sampling, the number of samples in this study is 385 samples. The data analysis method uses quantitative descriptive analysis, namely by distributing online and offline questionnaires. Data analysis using SEM-PLS and SPSS software version 24. The results of the study indicate that gender equality affects work performance through organizational culture and gender equality affects career development through organizational culture

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of descriptive analysis of each variable and also the imfact of the effectiveness of the hybrid work system in supporting employee work-life balance at PT Senang Ganyang Lapar. The quantitative causality method is the method used in this research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires to employees at PT Senang Ganyang Lapar. The technique used for sampling in this study is the census sampling technique. The data analysis method used in this study uses SmartPLS software by conducting validity, reliability and hypothesis testing. The result of this study shows that hybrid working has a positive and significant influence on employee work-life balance at PT Senang Ganyang Lapar.

Abstract

Batam City has become a popular destination for individuals from outside the city seeking employment due to the numerous manufacturing companies established there, both from local and foreign sources. The success of these companies is influenced not only by the abilities of their workforce but also by how well employees adapt to their working environment. This study aims to explore whether intellectual capital and cultural intelligence impact innovation and performance within the manufacturing sector in Batam City, with knowledge sharing serving as a mediating variable for cultural intelligence. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, the study is supported by primary data collected through surveys in the form of questionnaires. The researchers employed SPSS and Smart PLS software to analyze variable data and test the hypotheses. The findings reveal the following: 1) intellectual capital has no effect on innovation., 2) intellectual capital positively affects performance. 3) cultural intelligence positively affects innovation., 4) cultural intelligence positively affects knowledge sharing. 5) knowledge sharing positively affects innovation., 6) innovation positevely affecs on performance, and 7) cultural intelligence affects innovation through knowledge sharing as a mediating variable. In relation to these results, this research is recommended as a reference for managers in improving innovation and performance

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the purchase intention of bottled drinking water (AMDK) in Batam. The sample gathered consists of 400 social media user and consumers of AMDK brand in Batam. The main data was collected via an online surveys using Google Forms. The method of sampling utilized is non-probability sampling. This research uses quantitative analysis methods with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) and data processing and testing using SPSS Statistic. The research findings indicate that elements including entertainment, engagement, current fashion, customization, and e-WOM have a significant positive impact on brand awareness and brand image. However, interaction does not show a significant positive impact on brand awareness. Brand awareness and brand image significantly impact on purchase intention.

Abstract

Company value, which plays a role in determining the company's position, can be influenced by several factors such as CSR, financial performance, and good corporate governance. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of CSR, financial performance, and corporate governance on firm value. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The type of data collection is secondary data obtained from financial reports and sustainability of manufacturing companies in 2018-2022. The data was analyzed using the multiple linear regression method or Multiple Regression Analysis using the STATA application. The results showed that gender diversity has a significant effect on firm value. This research is important to do so that companies know which aspects should be improved in order to advance company value, and it is also important for investors to consider which companies are much better to invest in.

Abstract

The intention of individuals to use cryptocurrency is influenced by several factors, including financial literacy, herding behavior, and perceived risk. The purpose of this research is to explore how behavioral finance affects the intention to use cryptocurrency. This study employs a quantitative method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires based on certain criteria. Data is analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. The sample used for testing consists of 401 respondents who use cryptocurrency. The results of the study indicate that herding behavior and perceived risk have a significant influence on the variable of behavioral intention to use cryptocurrency. This research is important because, before deciding to invest in cryptocurrency, it is crucial for millennials to conduct thorough research, consider their individual risk profiles, and not just follow trends.

Abstract

Efforts by companies to achieve long-term sustainability by emphasizing the importance of Environmental Performance (EP) align with the goals of the SDGs, where environmental preservation is crucial for maintaining sustainability. The manufacturing sector has implemented Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices to address this issue. This study aims to demonstrate that the GHRM variable affects Environmental Performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as a mediating variable. The research sample consists of 363 respondents from seven environmentally friendly companies in Batam. Data analysis was conducted using SEM Partial Least Squares (PLS) by distributing questionnaires to the employees of these companies. The results indicate a significant effect of GHRM and OCB on EP, both directly and indirectly, in environmentally friendly companies in Batam.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of sustainable marketing activities. Customer trust, satisfaction, product quality and price-to-customer loyalty among MSMEs in Batam, with data collected from 311 respondents representing various demographic groups. Using a purposive sampling technique with brand image as the central variable. The research uses a quantitative analytical approach through structural equation modeling (SEM) using Smart-PLS. The main findings reveal a significant positive impact of sustainable marketing activities. Customer trust and satisfaction with brand image while brand image significantly increases customer loyalty. Product quality shows a direct positive impact on loyalty. Meanwhile, price does not significantly affect loyalty. The study concludes that developing sustainable marketing and promoting a strong brand image are important strategies for MSMEs to build long-term customer loyalty.

Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze and prove whether there is an influence of empowering leadership and self-efficacy on employees’ work engagement with work meaningfulness as a mediating variable in wood processing employees of the particle board division in Probolinggo, East Java. The type of research uses explanatory research methods, survey methods, and approaches used quantitively and data was collected using questionaires on 165 employees. The data has been collected, then tested using Structural Equation Model (SEM) method in the SmartPLS3 program application. It was found that the result of the study found that empowering leadership had an insignificant effect on work engagement, while self-efficacy and work meaningfulness had a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Empowering leadership and self-efficacy also have a positive and significant effect on work meaningfulness. Work meaningfulness is able to mediate the influence of empowering leadership and self-efficacy on work engagement positively and significantly.
