Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan masih sering terabaikan dalam pembelajaran sastra, padahal karya sastra dapat menjadi media efektif untuk menyampaikan nilai ekologis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pendidikan lingkungan, sastra lingkungan dan SDGs dalam cerita rakyat Madura Ki Ageng Tarub. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data utama cerita rakyat Madura Ki Ageng Tarub, dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak catat. Analisis menggunakan teori sistem terbuka, organisasi selalu berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar. Hasil penelitian cerita ini mengandung pesan konservasi lingkungan dalam menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan melalui penghijauan. Selain itu, mencerminkan sastra lingkungan hubungan manusia dengan alam disimbolkan melalui reboisasi, perlindungan flora dan fauna, serta kelestarian air. Cerita ini memiliki tujuan berkelanjutan seperti SDG 3, SDG 6, SDG 8, SDG 13, dan SDG 15..

Abstract

Instilling of environmental love character is important to be applied to early childhood through nature-based education, given the increasing environmental problems that require serious attention. One method that is expected to have a positive impact is the activity of Tadabbur Alam. This study aims to examine instilling of environmental love character through Tadabbur Alam activities in children at RA Adirasa Jumiang and its contribution to clean social awareness. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, where data is obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation of activities. The results showed that Tadabbur Alam activities succeeded in increasing children's awareness of the importance of preserving nature, as well as building a sense of social responsibility for the surrounding environment. The children involved in this activity showed a more caring attitude towards cleanliness and environmental sustainability. In addition, this activity also plays a role in strengthening clean social values, such as responsibility and cooperation. This research contributes to broadening the understanding of how nature-based education can support the character building of children who care more about the environment and society.

Abstract

The increase in air temperature is one of the indicators that climate change has occurred in Indonesia, according to the historical air temperature data of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) from 1981-2018. The data shows an increase of around 0.03°C each year. Actions that can be taken related to climate change by involving the entire community to increase awareness of the environment. One of the ways to take action on climate change is through agents of change. Agents of change must have critical thinking and solution on every impact that causes damage and loss. This research uses qualitative methods and primary data collection with Focus Group Discussions (FGD), observations and secondary data with literature studies. The use of the STEM or Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics approach is carried out indoor and outdoor to foster the ability of students as agents of change. Students as agents of change will carry out several strategies in climate change action which includes the 13th goal in the Sustainable Development Goals. Activities that can be done by forming FGD to examine the problems that are being faced and how they will affect the future for students.

Abstract

The Labour-Intensive Program is a policy of the Surabaya City Government that is oriented towards empowering human resources and developing public welfare for low-income communities in the City of Surabaya after the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to describe; 1) the transformation of the Surabaya City Government's public policy from a social welfare orientation to a labor-intensive policy after changes in the implementation of PERWALI No. 35 of 2022 concerning Amendments to the Surabaya Mayor's Regulation Number 9 of 2022 concerning Social Rehabilitation of Uninhabitable Houses in the City of Surabaya; and 2) the implementation of the labor-intensive program policy. This research method is a qualitative-descriptive research with data collection techniques through literature studies, observations and in-depth interviews with policy implementers (Public Housing & Human Settlements Office) in the Dupak Village area, Krembangan District. This study produces several conclusions: 1) changes in the implementation of PERWALI NO. 35 of 2022 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Mayor of Surabaya Number 9 of 2022 concerning Social Rehabilitation of Uninhabitable Houses in the City of Surabaya, is the interest of the policy actor (Mayor of Surabaya) as a consequence of the shift in the policy paradigm from a social welfare-based program to a labor-intensive program. 2) The implementation of labour-intensive policies aims for public welfare in reducing poverty and unemployment, and national economic recovery in order to support sustainable development goals.

Abstract

Literature plays a crucial role as a medium for social education transformation, particularly in supporting sustainable development in Indonesia. This study aims to explore how local literary works can be integrated into education through the lens of literary anthropology to strengthen character formation and promote the values aligned with sustainable development goals. The research focuses on two contemporary Indonesian novels rooted in local cultures, analyzing their potential to convey ethical, cultural, and social values relevant to inclusive and transformative education. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the study applies content analysis and thematic interpretation guided by literary anthropology. Two novels—Gampo: Robohnya Rumah Gadang Kami and Negarabatin: Negeri di Balik Bukit—were selected as the primary corpus. Cultural symbols, narrative structures, and value systems embedded in these texts were examined and interpreted in relation to educational objectives and sustainable development themes. The findings reveal that both novels reflect rich local wisdom, including values such as communal cooperation, religious devotion, familial responsibility, and indigenous leadership. These values are strongly aligned with core educational goals, especially those related to quality education, social inclusion, and peaceful institutions. Cultural symbols like the Minangkabau rumah gadang and the Lampung term uyung serve not only as literary elements but also as pedagogical tools for character education. Furthermore, the study demonstrates how these texts can be integrated into contextual learning models, encouraging critical literacy, ethical reasoning, and cultural empathy among students. The study concludes that local literature is not merely a cultural artifact but a strategic educational resource capable of advancing inclusive and value-based education. By adopting literary anthropology as both an interpretive and pedagogical framework, the research contributes to the design of culturally grounded curricula that support transformative learning and sustainable development in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the rapid growth of Financial Technology (Fintech) services, including digital banking. Ease of use, effectiveness, and transaction security have become the main factors encouraging the adoption of these services, especially among Generation Z, who are known for their adaptability to technology. One of the prominent digital banks among students is Seabank, which is recorded as the most widely used digital bank by accounting students at UPN "Veteran" East Java, with a usage rate reaching 82.9%. The purpose of this study was to analyze how ease of use, effectiveness, and risk perception influence the interest in using SeaBank digital banking among accounting students at UPN “Veteran” East Java. This study employs a quantitative method with the analysis technique of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). This technique is used to examine the relationships among variables in the research model. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to 50 Accounting students (class of 2022–2023) at UPN "Veteran" East Java. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The research conducted reveals that the variables of ease of use, effectiveness, and risk perception have a positive and significant impact on the interest in using Seabank digital banks among accounting students at UPN “Veteran” East Java.

Abstract

In the course of history after the New Order, conflicts between religious communities often occurred, but in Pamekasan itself, including part of Madura, there has never been a conflict between religious people, all hudup are harmonious and tolerant. Therefore, this study analyzes multicultural education in supporting the strengthening of religious moderation in Avalokitesvara Pamekasan Temple using historical methods, The first is the process of collecting sources, primary sources are in the form of interviews with the head of the monastery, teachers and people considered important in this research, archives and observations of researchers, while secondary sources are obtained from books, scientific articles, and proceedings. Second, source criticism with internal and external criticism. The third step is interpretation and the last is historiography. Structural Functionalism theory approach from Talcott Parsons. The results of the study show that multicultural education is effective in supporting the strengthening of religious moderation for students at Avalokitesvara Temple, because students can see firsthand the diversity in the Temple. Multicultural education produces an understanding of religious moderation, and religious moderation produces an attitude of tolerance, inclusiveness, harmony and respect for differences, so as to create harmony between religious communities in the Land of Salam Gate (Pamekasan).

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang rekonstruksi pembelajaran pendidikan bahasa Indonesia di era Society 5.0, adanya perubahan besar dalam teknologi dan cara komunikasi, khususnya dalam konteks digital, pendidikan bahasa Indonesia perlu disesuaikan untuk menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ditawarkan oleh kemajuan tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi tantangan, peluang, dan strategi dalam rekonstruksi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan komunikasi siswa di dunia maya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode study kasus melalui Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik rekam, catat, dan sadap, serta observasi pembelajaran di beberapa sekolah yang menerapkan teknologi dalam pengajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa tantangan utama dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di era Society 5.0, seperti penggunaan bahasa yang tidak baku di media sosial, kesenjangan keterampilan digital di kalangan guru dan siswa, serta kurangnya kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan teknologi secara efektif. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dapat membuka peluang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi digital siswa, mempermudah akses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, serta mendorong kreativitas dalam berkomunikasi melalui platform digital. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pelatihan teknologi bagi guru Bahasa Indonesia, pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih adaptif terhadap perkembangan digital, dan peningkatan keterampilan literasi digital siswa agar pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tetap relevan di era Society 5.0.

Abstract

The limitations of learning media that are gender-responsive and not gender biased are one of the obstacles to achieving gender equality in the world of education. Meanwhile, the presence of the Lets' Read digital page is a digital-based learning media that is often used to improve literacy and reading skills, but has not been optimally utilized in promoting gender equality issues. This research tries to explore how Let's Read digital media captures gender narratives and women's empowerment through stories set in Indonesia. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The method used in data collection is observation through strict reading, either literary texts that are used as research objects as primary data or other texts that come from journals and supporting books in accordance with the formal object of research as secondary data sources. Data analysis uses descriptive and explanatory approaches. The results of the study showed that the 12 story titles contained diverse gender narratives with multicultural story contexts. In addition, the stories set in postcolonial culture also show the tendency of women to support each other so that a strong empowerment discourse is realized through the diversity of professions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the urgency of controlling smoking behavior among school students in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia, especially SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). The method used is a literature study by analyzing various studies and survey data in the last ten years related to the prevalence of novice smokers, factors that influence smoking habits, and their impacts on health, economy, and education. The results of the study show that the number of novice smokers in Indonesia has increased, influenced by social, economic, and environmental factors, such as peer influence, cigarette advertising, and lack of strict regulations in the school environment. The impact of smoking on students not only hinders their academic achievement and health, but also increases the economic burden on families and the national health system. Prevention efforts through stricter regulations, health education, and school and family involvement are needed to reduce the number of novice smokers and create a healthy educational environment and support the achievement of SDGs in Indonesia.
