Abstract

Islam, science, and colonialism have continuing problems over time. To understand the point that makes this intersection suffer a deadlock, mainly with Islam. The intersection of modernity and colonialism gave birth to many Islamic thinkers who also tried to formulate how Islam stands when confronted with modernity, science, and colonism. This article complements articles related to the intersection of Islam, science, and modernity of various early Muslim thinkers. This article re-examines the confusion because, to this day, the fundamental problems of the intersection of Islam, science, and modernity are increasingly experienced in the digital age. The findings in this article on the intersection of Islam and modernity impact Islam, science, and colonialism. This impact is present in the form of various rejections of Islamic scientists of the existence of modernity, mainly in science. The emergence of various rejection movements related to this advance of science makes it seem that Islam itself is unable to meet the challenges of the age. In addition to the colonialism perspective that reinforces that colonism is embodied in colonization in the domination of science today. This has an impact on the total disbelief of the Muslims in the advancement of science and technology.

Abstract

The prophetic paradigm is a philosophical approach that explores the role of prophets and their messages in religious doctrine. This research aims to outline the various philosophical paradigms and their applications in management. In addition, the Islamic view of economics is also explained through three chronological periods, namely the Meccan period, the Medina period, and the Islamic knowledge structure period. After understanding these aspects, this research focuses on explaining the prophetic paradigm. This research is a literature research with a qualitative approach. The data was analysed using Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis method. The results showed that although the values drawn from this paradigm may vary among religions and traditions, there are often some common values, such as justice, compassion, and wisdom. Some of the implications of this paradigm for management practices can assist managers in implementing Islamic values in their businesses. Islamic values impact management practices through the influence of institutional and individual factors, which in turn contribute to the adoption of ethical behaviour and improved performance within the organisation.

Islam requires its adherents to preach goodness. The media used are various, one of which is art. As a medium of da'wah, it certainly needs to be considered to what extent it can be used so that it does not violate the provisions of the religion itself. This research is qualitative and focuses on literature. The data collection techniques used are documentation and analysis techniques using descriptive-analytical This study concludes that the field of art in Islam is termed tashwir, which is divided into three legal opinions, namely haram, permissible, and mid. Abstract

When the Prophet Muhammad was still alive, there were rarely any divisions among Muslims because he was a source of solutions in knowledge and charity when a problem occurred. However, when he died, little by little problems began to emerge that could not be resolved and the culmination occurred in the Siffin War, resulting in the emergence of various theological schools, one of which was the Khawarij. So this research aims to describe the flashbacks of the Khawarij sect in historical history. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach and then analyzed descriptively. The results of the research show that the Khawarij sect emerged since there was a political conflict between Ali's ranks and Mu'awiyah's troops who held abstruse (tahkim) in the siffin war. Apart from that, in its development, the main doctrines of the Khawarij sect covered the ideological and social fields. From there, several prominent figures were born, including 'Abd al-Karim bin 'Ajrad the founder of the Al-'Ajaridah sect, Nafi'bin Al-Azraq the founder of Al-Azariqah, Ziad ibn Al-Ashfar the founder of Al-Shafariyah, Najdah bin Amir as the founder of Al-Najadat, and Abdullah bin Ibadh as the founder of Al –Ibadhiyyah. The most striking deviant teaching of the Khawarij sect is that it is easy to consider someone who is outside their group as an infidel, even though one creed condemns that person as having committed a major sin so that they deserves to be put in hell.
