Abstract

Popok sekali pakai (diapers) merupakan sampah anorganik yng sulit untuk diurai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa dengan penambahan ekoenzim dalam mendegradasi popok sekali pakai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Non-faktorial yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah P0= Kontrol, P1= Bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa (5%), P2= Ekoenzim (5%), P3= Bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa dan Ekoenzim (5%). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar perlakuan digunakan uji Anova dan dilanjut dengan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf signifikasi α = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengurangan berat kering popok sekali pakai pada perlakuan P0= 3.7%, P1 = 41.8%, P2 = 50.1% dan P3 = 59.1%. Pada hasil pengurangan ukuran popok sekali pakai pada perlakuan P0 = 0.08, P1 = 0.09, P2 = 0.19 dan P3 = 0.2. Aktivitas bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa dengan penambahan ekoenzim mampu mendegradasi popok sekali pakai pada pengurangan berat kering popok sekali pakai tetapi tidak mampu dalam mengurangkan ukuran pada degradasi popok sekali pakai. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between students' immune system knowledge and students' attitudes and behavior in maintaining body immunity. This research uses a quantitative approach located at SMAN 3 Barru. The independent variables in this research are attitudes and behavior to maintain students' immune systems and the dependent variable in this research is students' immune system knowledge. The population in this study was Class Research data was obtained through distributing knowledge questionnaires related to students' immune systems, and attitude and behavior questionnaires related to maintaining students' immune systems. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis which starts from testing normality, linearity and regression. Based on the results of data analysis, the significance value for the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 0.268>0.05. It can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between attitudes and behavior in maintaining body immunity and knowledge of the immune system of students at SMAN 3 Barru.

Abstract

Agaricomycetes belong to the group of macrofungi in the Basidiomycota division, which generally form fruiting bodies and reproduce sexually using basidiospores. This group of fungi can be found in terrestrial environments and mostly function as decomposers. Agaricomycetes are commonly found in Indonesia, especially in humid and shaded locations. For example, Situ Gede, a lake located in Dramaga, Bogor, provides a suitable environment for the growth of Agaricomycetes, such as Lycoperdon sp. and Lentinus sp., which are Agaricomycetes that can be found on the ground or decaying wood. However, descriptive data on these two types of fungi have not been widely published. A study was conducted to determine the morphological characteristics and distribution of Lycoperdon sp. and Lentinus sp. found in the forest around Situ Gede lake. The study involved documenting and observing samples morphologically and microscopically in the Biology Department Laboratory of IPB University, Bogor, West Java. The morphological observations revealed that Lycoperdon sp. has a cap and stalk with brownish-white color, brown spots, and gleba containing mature brownish spores, as well as basidiospores and basidiospores on the stalk, as observed under the microscope. Lentinus sp. has a brownish-white cap, brown stalk, yellowish-white gills, septate hyphae, and ellipsoidal basidiospores. This study contributes to documenting the presence of Agaricomycetes fungi in Indonesia and provides a basis for further research on the potential and utilization of these fungi

Abstract

Burns are damage that occurs to skin tissue due to direct contact with the surface of the body. The healing process of burn wounds can be accelerated by using traditional plants, namely lemongrass. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of lemongrass extract ointment in healing second degree burns and to determine the most effective dose of lemongrass extract ointment in healing burns in rats. This study used a completely randomized design, rats were divided into five treatments, namely K- (given vaseline), K+ (brand X ointment), P1 (5% extract ointment), P2 (10% extract ointment), P3 (15% extract ointment). Mice were given burns on the right back with an area of ​​3 cm x 2 cm, the area of ​​the wound was measured for 15 days. The results of statistical tests using One-way ANOVA and further tests with Duncan showed that there was no significant effect between the K+ treatment group (given bioplaceton) and treatment 3 (15% extract ointment). Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the P3 group (15% lemongrass extract ointment) with a remaining wound area of ​​1.26 cm is the most optimal treatment in accelerating the healing of burn wounds in mice.

Abstract

Based on the Central Statistics Agency (2022), red spinach production is said to be unstable at this time. The application of eco farming and gibberellins as well as utilizing the home environment to use a wall planting bag planting system is one strategy to overcome this problem. The aim of this research is to determine the correct dosage for the growth of red spinach plants planted using a wall planter bag system. This research was conducted in September-October 2023. This research used a factorial randomized block design, namely E0 (control), E1 (8 ml/l), E2 (16 ml/l) and E3 (24 ml/l) with G0 (control , G1 (200 ppm) and G2 (250 ppm). Based on the observations made, the combination treatment had a significant effect on plant height and leaf area, but had no effect on plant fresh weight. The E3G2 treatment was the most effective dose in this study.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara tropis yang memiliki keanekaragaman flora dan fauna yang harus dilestarikan dan dikembangkan, salah satunya adalah tumbuhan paku-pakuan. Tumbuhan paku dapat tumbuh dengan baik di tanah terbuka. Cahaya matahari yang cukup, derajat keasaman (pH) 3,5–6,5, dan suhu 21-27°C, tumbuhan paku dapat tumbuh setelah kebakaran hutan atau hutan yang tertutup tajuk pohon. Kalimantan Barat memiliki iklim tropis yang lembap, habitat yang beragam, tanah yang kaya nutrisi, kanopi hutan yang rapat, kurangnya gangguan manusia, dan proses ekologis alami yang kompleks, tumbuhan paku tumbuh dan hidup dengan beraneka ragam jenis di hutan Kalimantan Barat. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yaitu mencari sumber primer atau literatur berupa jurnal nasional dan internasional pada satu dekade sebelumnya (2014-2024). Terdapat 16 famili dengan dengan 34 spesies. Spesies yang paling banyak ditemukan berasal dari famili Polypodiaceae.

Abstract

Tumbuhan kantong semar (Nepenthes spp.) adalah tumbuhan karnivora dengan kantong yang berfungsi untuk menangkap dan mencerna serangga. Provinsi Kalimantan Barat merupakan habitat berbagai jenis kantong semar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang keanekaragaman jenis kantong semar di Kalimantan Barat melalui studi kepustakaan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelusuran menunjukkan adanya 13 jenis kantong semar, yaitu N. albomarginata, N. ampullaria, N. bicalcarata, N. gracilis, N. mirabilis, N. rafflesiana, N. x hookeriana, N. cantleyi, N. reinwardtiana, N. x trichocarpa, N. x neglata, N. pilosa, dan N. hirsuta. N. ampullaria adalah spesies dengan jumlah paling banyak karena ditemukan di setiap hasil riset pada artikel yang dianalisis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk studi ilmiah dan acuan dalam penelitian terkait keanekaragaman jenis kantong semar di Kalimantan Barat

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian campuran onggok dan ampas tahu terfermentasi (OAF) sebagai pengganti jagung dalam pakan terhadap konsumsi pakan (g/ekor), pertambahan bobot badan (PBB) (g/ekor), konversi pakan (FCR) dan berat karkas (g/ekor) ayam pedaging. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 1 bulan terhitung mulai dari tanggal 7 September 2023 sampai 7 Oktober 2023 di Kandang Lapang Program Studi Peternakan, Universitas Nusa Nipa, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, dengan menggunakan metode Eksperimen. Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan, PBB, FCR dan berat karkas menggunakan 200 ekor ayam dibagi dalam 5 perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan masing-masing 8 ekor ayam pedaging. Kelima perlakuan adalah P0: Pakan kontrol; P1: Pakan kontrol dengan jagung disubtitusi 5 % OAF; P2: Pakan kontrol dengan jagung disubtitusi 10 % OAF, P3: Pakan kontrol dengan jagung disubtitusi 15 % OAF dan P4: Pakan kontrol dengan jagung disubtitusi 20 % OAF. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis of varians (ANOVA), jika hasil analisis menunjukan beda nyata maka dilakukan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) untuk mengetahui beda nyata antara perlakuan dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bahwa penggunaan 5 % OAF; 10 % OAF; 15 % OAF dan 20 % OAF sebagai penggati jagung dalam pakan memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan (g/ekor), PBB (g/ekor), konversi pakan dan berat karkas (g/ekor). Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan OAF sampai level 15 % sebagai pengganti jagung dalam pakan ayam pedaging tidak memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), konversi pakan (FCR) dan berat karkas ayam pedaging.

Abstract

The biology learning scores of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tinondo have not achieved the expected results. This is thought to be due to a lack of involvement in learning media, especially audio-visual media. Meanwhile, biology often involves complex and abstract concepts. Audio visual media such as animated videos can help students understand these concepts more clearly and concretely. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effect of implementing animated videos on the biology learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tinondo. This research was a pre-experiment type involving one experimental class with a total of 17 students. Class determination uses totally sampling technique. Through the test technique, pre-test and post-test learning results test sheets are used, each consisting of 10 multiple choice questions and 3 essay questions. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially (paired-sample t-test). The research results showed that the average student pre-test score was 39.18 (poor category) and student post-test score was 77.65 (good category). From the results of hypothesis testing, a sig value was obtained. 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of animated videos on the biology learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tinondo.

Abstract

The low level of students' science process skills is one of the problems faced in the learning process. Aspects of science process skills formulate hypotheses, apply concepts, ask questions, plan experiments, conduct experiments, predict, interpret data, communicate, and conclude. The type of research used is development research. The development model used is the 4 D model (define, design, develop, and dessiminate). This research only tested the validity of the science process skills instrument. The instrument used was a science process skills validity questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of material, construction, and readability. From the research that has been done, it is obtained that the science process skills instrument on the material of biotechnological innovation phase F 81% with a valid category. The instrument can be used to measure students' science process skills in biology subjects.
