Abstract

This study aims to develop students' podcast skills as part of teaching variations to enhance digital communication capabilities in the industrial revolution 4.0 era. The method employed a structured approach consisting of four main stages: preparation, implementation, practice, and evaluation. The program was conducted at the Sociology Education Study Program, Manado State University, involving 25 students as participants. The preparation stage included needs assessment and learning module design. The implementation stage focused on theoretical understanding and technical skills development. The practice stage involved group projects where students created their podcast episodes, while the evaluation stage assessed both technical and content aspects of the produced podcasts. Results showed significant improvement in students' podcast skills, demonstrated by the increase in test scores from an average of 31.72 in the pretest to 80.56 in the posttest. The evaluation revealed that students successfully developed competencies in podcast production, from conceptualization to final editing. Additionally, participants showed enhanced abilities in digital communication, teamwork, and content creation. This program proved effective in developing students' digital communication skills while providing practical experience in modern content creation.

Abstract

Kelongkong Hamlet, which is located in Sambik Bangkol Village, is one of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) locations for STKIP Hamzar students. The results of observations of students in elementary and junior high schools in this village, especially in Kelongkong Hamlet, revealed that some children had low numeracy abilities. In this case, students focused their attention on elementary and junior high school age students in TPQ Dusun Kelongkong. One of the programs implemented to overcome this problem is tutoring, with the aim of increasing the numeracy skills of TPQ children in Kelongkong Hamlet. This guidance program includes providing numeracy material as well as simple practice questions which will be held from 01 August to 29 September 2024 every Monday to Wednesday, 16:00 – 17:30 WIT. From the results we observed, it shows that this program has succeeded in improving the numeracy skills of students at TPQ Dusun Kelongkong, as seen from their ability to solve the simple questions given.  Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Belajar, Numerasi

Abstract

Optimal early childhood growth and development will determine their health status in the future. Implementing Integrative Holistic Early Childhood Education (PAUD-HI) is an effort to optimize children's growth and development by paying attention to various children's characteristics. Apart from that, implementing balance diet in early childhood is expected to be able to establish optimal nutritional status in children. PAUD Group 2 Bungo Selango, located in Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, has not implemented PAUD-HI optimally due to various risk factors. Kindergarten teachers have never received early childhood balance diet education. This community service activity aimed to optimize the implementation of PAUD-HI and implement balance diet in PAUD Group 2 Bungo Selango. In this community service activity, they are given health education and demonstrations related to the application of balance diet in holistic and integrative kindergarten learning. The results of community service activities showed that there is an increase in target’s knowledge before and after being given education which is not significantly different (Sig.>0.05). It is necessary to get used to implementing balance diet (consuming variety of foods, physical activity, clean and healthy lifestyle, and controlling ideal body weight) in holistic and integrative kindergarten learning.

Abstract

The Samboyang Rope Processing Business Group in Babarura Village is the main partner in this activity. Carrying out pelpangang activities in the traditional way using a manual rolling tool. This has implications for the quality of the rope, the time it takes to make anchor ropes. Apart from that, Tinambung sub-district is the only business The largest anchor rope spinner in West Sulawesi. Apart from that, there has been no innovation in diversifying the forms of products produced from processing anchor ship mooring ropes, until now they have only been used as fishing aids or ship ties, and in the economic marketing and digital bookkeeping sectors. needs to be implemented. Then through a community service program carried out according to the needs of the Samboyang Rope Processing Business Group to increase group productivity. In addition, product diversification from ship mooring rope processing provides new opportunities for the group to increase the added value of their products, marketing training and digital bookkeeping, opening up opportunities for the Samboyang rope processing business group to be competitive in a wider market.

Abstract

Based on the situation analysis, In the 2023 NTB ASPROV League 3, all medical teams of the league recorded ankle injuries experienced by 55% of the total number of soccer athlete injuries. The purpose of the study was to realize effective and efficient ankle injury assistance for NTB soccer players in preventing ankle injuries. The method used is the solution method, namely by holding socialization, training, assistance, and evaluation of the analysis of ankle injury assistance for NTB soccer players which is good according to the branch of the soccer sport. The sustainability of the program from this community service activity will later produce a chronic post-ankle injury guideline module to improve the performance of soccer athletes in the NTB League 3 event, the participants of which are 15 coaches from each NTB League 3 club. Increasing the competence of coaches in this assistance process, the success of achieving athlete achievement depends on the coach. In the community service activity, the assistance for ankle injuries in NTB soccer players was able to handle ankle injuries as a reference material in formulating athlete training programs after ankle injuries so that it could improve athlete achievement in the field of soccer. The positive response of the coaches to the implementation of community service is very good, so that the coaches can implement the material obtained from the training process. The results of this study so that the assistance of ankle injuries to NTB Football players is realized effectively and efficiently in preventing ankle injuries

Abstract

Entrepreneurial Skills Education is an important program to improve entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, especially in the face of increasingly fierce economic competition. This program is designed to provide knowledge and skills and form an entrepreneurial attitude in participants, with the main goal of creating new business opportunities and improving community welfare. One of the PKW implementations was carried out at PKBM Arrahman in Talabiu Village, Woha District, Bima Regency, which focused on sewing skills training. This training aims to empower women by providing practical skills in sewing, which can be used to open an independent business or increase job opportunities. The training activities, which take place from August to October 2024, involve various learning methods including lectures, socialization, and practical training. With an approach that includes business opportunity identification, entrepreneurial learning, and business mentoring, this training equips participants with technical knowledge of design, material selection, cutting techniques, and fashion finishing. The results of the training showed an improvement in the sewing skills of the participants, which can now produce better quality products and reduce dependence on outside services. This training also has a significant impact in reducing unemployment in Talabiu Village, increasing community enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, and encouraging the opening of new businesses. However, for long-term success, it is important for participants to be more disciplined in financial records and pay attention to managerial aspects. Overall, this training not only improves technical skills but also has a positive economic impact on society, with the potential to operate optimally and sustainably in the future.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an essential effort focused on fostering change in different areas, including athletics, social sciences, arts, and local culture. In the realm of sports, community empowerment aims to improve the quality of human resources, athleticism, and performance at provincial, national, and even global levels. It acts as a tool for molding community identity and is vital for the advancement of sports. A goal of this Community Empowerment Program (PKM) is to provide certified training for physical trainers to students in the Vocational Faculty and the Sports Science and Health Sports Study Programs within the Health Faculty. This initiative seeks to promote sports accomplishments at both student and wider levels, encompassing regional, provincial, national, and international tiers. Developing sports success through a systematic, enduring, and sustainable approach is crucial for creating sports excellence as a regional trait and national identity. Community engagement plays a vital role in influencing national sports policies and programs. The enhancement of sports via the Sports Study Program at FV and FIKK is crucial for achieving both community involvement in sports and sports success. The techniques used consist of training physical trainers and the creation of programs. Physical trainer training emphasizes creating physical conditioning that meets the requirements of particular energy systems, sport traits, and periodization to improve athletes' biomotor abilities. Moreover, attendees are taught how to create physical training plans to enhance athlete performance and achieve established goals. This program aims to prepare FV and FIKK sports students to create training plans that improve athlete performance and lead to success. The aim is to develop proficient coaches and top-performing athletes capable of representing East Java and Indonesia in various competitive arenas.

Abstract

Community Service Activities by STAKPN Sentani Postgraduate lecturers and educational staff at the Kalam Kudus Doyo Baru Congregation aim to equip the millennial generation to face the challenges of globalization on faith and spirituality. In the modern era filled with the flow of digital information, values such as secularism, materialism and moral relativism often conflict with Christian teachings. Through lecture methods, group discussions and Biblical training, this activity provides participants with in-depth insight into the importance of maintaining the foundations of faith amidst the negative influences of globalization. This activity also emphasizes the role of technology as a means of deepening faith and the importance of a strong spiritual community among millennials. As a result, the younger generation of the Kalam Kudus Doyo Baru Congregation is better prepared to face cultural shifts without losing their Christian identity. With creative and relevant approaches, such as the use of digital media and innovative services, it is hoped that participants will become more actively involved in church life. This service succeeded in having a significant impact in strengthening the faith and spirituality of the millennial generation, as well as strengthening their commitment to maintaining Christian values in the era of globalization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the MBKM project grant program in the village as an effort to empower the community of Gentungan Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency. The great potential of Gentungan Village is in terms of tourism, culture, and also a strategic location that makes this village have its own opportunities and attractions. Cultural insight by the community is also important to preserve the cultural heritage of the archipelago. This research was conducted with descriptive qualitative research methods and used data collection techniques in the form of observation. The MBKM Grant Program produces several work programs such as, internship programs at the village office, getting to know the variety of archipelago heritage through teaching activities, utilizing Rumah Eduwisata tours through outbound activities, kokedama skills training, and greening programs. The implementation of the MBKM Grant work program is able to encourage motivation, active participation, and optimize the local potential of the Gentungan Village community in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The development of technology that has been supported by the government makes it easier for citizens to get information, and can influence society to get information and participate in public policy. The development of technology carried out by the government starts from public services on digital platforms, such as websites or village applications. Smart Village initiated by Telkom University Surabaya innovates by providing a website to help citizens with easy complaints to providing a space for community aspirations that can be accessed anywhere and anytime by the people of Panjunan Village. The Public Complaints Website has 31 features for citizens, officers and admins, these features have been tested functionally, and have been tested on several users, in the test no functional errors were found in the sense that the system is ready to use.
