Abstract

Early childhood development is an essential period for establishing the groundwork and gaining abilities that will impact a child's life ahead. A child's growth is influenced by the stimulation they experience; when they receive adequate stimulation in their early years, children will mature and develop suitably for their age. Some of the essential areas of growth include cognitive abilities and fine motor skills. An engaging educational task that promotes both cognitive skills and fine motor abilities is creating collages. Collage consists of crafting art by adhering dry leaves or various materials to a flat surface or drawing with glue. This service seeks to present new strategies for children, promote imaginative learning techniques, and enhance the growth of cognitive and fine motor skills to guarantee healthy development. The service involved 30 children between the ages of 4 and 6 through techniques like parent socialization, training, and mentoring for children. The technique of creating collages was especially effective for improving cognitive and fine motor skills, as it allows children to enhance their problem-solving skills and reinforces their small muscle development.

Abstract

Sexual violence is a systemic problem rooted in patriarchal structures and gender bias in society, including in Lombok. Emerging cases, such as those involving religious education figures, show the need for a preventive approach based on collective awareness. This service activity aims to strengthen anti-sexual violence awareness among the younger generation through participatory public dialogue. Taking place at Kedai It's Milk in Mataram City, this activity involved youth, students, law enforcement officials, child protection agencies, and academics. The fishbowl discussion method was used to encourage equal and open participation. As a result, the dialogue raised critical awareness, formed a community action network, and initiated a digital platform as a safe space for sharing and education. This activity confirms the importance of an inclusive dialogical space to dismantle the culture of silence, and encourage social change through multi-stakeholder collaboration and intersectional approaches that are relevant to local conditions.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the transformation of the academic administration service system in higher education towards a more efficient and transparent direction. The Academic Information System (SIKAD) is present as a digital solution in managing academic data, which includes information on grades, attendance, class schedules, and other administrative processes. However, the level of student understanding and utilization of this system still needs to be improved. This community service activity aims to socialize the use of SIKAD to Lombok Business Academy students in order to create a comprehensive understanding of the functions and benefits of the system in supporting accountable and efficient academic processes. The implementation method includes delivering materials, demonstrating system usage, direct practice, and evaluation through discussions and questionnaires. The results of the activity show that students gain a better understanding of the features of SIKAD and realize the importance of this system in supporting openness and effectiveness of academic services. With this socialization, it is hoped that there will be an increase in student participation and independence in accessing academic information digitally and in real-time. This activity is also the first step in supporting digital transformation in the higher education environment, especially in efforts to realize transparent and technology-based academic administration governance.

Abstract

Field lighting in schools is one of the important elements that support educational activities, especially at night. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of a solar panel-based lighting system at Madinathul Ilmi School located in Muara Gembong District. By utilizing renewable energy sources, namely solar energy, this system is designed to overcome the problem of limited access to electricity in remote areas and reduce dependence on fossil energy sources. The research methodology includes the planning, installation, and performance evaluation stages of the lighting system used. Analysis was carried out on energy efficiency, operational costs, and the resulting environmental impacts. The results of the study indicate that the solar panel-based lighting system is able to provide adequate lighting with lower operational costs compared to conventional systems. In addition, the use of solar panels also contributes positively to reducing carbon emission.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance teachers' ability to create Teaching Modules as a replacement for the Lesson Plans that have been commonly used in the previous curriculum. The Merdeka Curriculum needs to be understood by teachers in relation to the formulation of Learning Objectives, Learning Objective Pathways, teaching materials, teaching methods, and assessment of the learning process and outcomes. The systematic preparation of teaching modules as a substitute for Learning Plans has not yet been mastered by teachers, resulting in the available Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) being less comprehensive in providing an overview of Learning Planning. Based on the aforementioned issues, this technical guidance activity involves mentoring the dance teacher learning community in Serang City to develop teaching modules in accordance with Phase D as specified in the Merdeka Curriculum. The activities begin with the analysis and mapping of Learning Outcomes in Phase D, setting learning objectives and their progression, and finally compiling ready-to-use teaching modules, which can serve as a reference for other dance teachers in Indonesia.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology in the cyber era has opened up wide access to information, communication, and digital services. However, this progress has also given rise to challenges in the form of increasing cybercrime targeting vulnerable groups, including people with visual sensory disabilities. Limitations in receiving visual information make this group more vulnerable to threats such as phishing, theft of personal data, and digital fraud. In response to this, a community service activity entitled "Optimizing Digital Communication in Dealing with Cybercrime for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities" was held at the Raudhatul Makfufin Foundation, South Tangerang on June 15, 2025. This activity was attended by 37 blind participants aged 17-60 years, most of whom were active users of screen reader-based digital technology. The training method was carried out in a participatory manner through the delivery of materials, discussions, and simulations. The results of the training showed an increase in participants' understanding of various forms of cybercrime as well as the ability to recognize and anticipate digital crime modes. The training also equipped participants with secure digital communication skills, including the use of two-factor authentication and security applications. It is hoped that this activity can increase inclusive digital literacy and strengthen cyber resilience for the blind sensory disability community.
