Abstract

Verbs will be examined through an interrogative construction, which will elicit the states, processes, and actions of verb members in sequence to analyze the proper identification of verb membership. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Through the use of semantic analysis, this study aims to investigate and describe process verbs in the Minangkabau language. Semantic investigation relates to the roles played by each filler in these functions. The information presented in this paper is based on oral interviews and written data. The primary data source is oral information from Minangkabau dialect informants. The semantic features of process verbs are [+dynamic], indicating the subtypes of event, [+punctual], indicating non-agentive motion subtypes, and [-punctual], indicating process verbs of enduring events. It can be concluded that process verbs in Minangkabau possess semantic components that are [+dynamic] and [+/- punctual]. The semantic structure of Minangkabau process verbs can be explained in their original sense, which serves as the basis for their construction. Process verbs are constructed from the words "HAPPEN" and "DO," which have equivalent or similar meanings. The explanation of Minangkabau process verbs can be accomplished with the help of a set of available original meanings in the natural semantic metalanguage syntax.

Abstract

This research aims to describe categorization semantics verb “mirip marah” (angry-like) in the Toba Batak language. Through the MSA theoretical framework. Research data, both oral and written, was obtained using the listening method and the proficient method with a list of questions consisting of two models, namely (1) the verb lexicon 'like angry' and (2) the verb construction 'like angry' (DCT: Discourse Copeletion Test) .All data was studied using the matching method and the agih method, then presented using formal and informal methods and tested using triangulation techniques. The research results show that the verb “ mirip marah” ('angry-like’) in the Toba Batak Language (BBT) is categorized with the component 'I don't want something like this to happen'. Then the category results are divided into three subcategories, namely: (1) subcategory 'I want something else now', (2) subcategory 'I want to say what I think about this' and (3) subcategory 'I want to do something'.

Abstract

This research was conducted to better understand segmental language sound analysis. The use of language in highland and lowland areas definitely has differences in terms of the loudness and softness of the sounds spoken, the pitch of the sounds, the length and shortness of the sounds, and so on. In the pronunciation of these sounds, the lowland and highland areas have differences in terms of segmental pronunciation sounds. This research method uses a methodological approach and qualitative research methods. The methodological approach consists of a qualitative descriptive approach, while the qualitative approach in research consists of a dialectological approach, especially dialect geography. Dialectological research is basically language research that is systematic, empirical and critical of the target object in the form of speech sounds. The use of this qualitative method is to qualitatively describe perceptions about the use and pronunciation of language sounds in the highlands and lowlands, which are used by people living in these areas, using sound usage (segmental) analysis. From the results of research and data, it is proven that the use of segmental language sounds from the lowlands and highlands proves that high and low sounds do occur in the Pandeglang area, Baros. Based on the results of the analysis above, the pronunciation of segmental sounds in this analysis has found data that in everyday conversation 100% proves that segmental sounds are applied in life, and has found language sounds in daily life conversations such as vowels, consonants, diphthongs. , clusters, as well as the high and low levels of sound produced. Dari hasil penelitian dan data-data yang dilakukan membuktikan bahwa penggunaan bunyi bahasa segmental dari dataran rendah dan dataran tinggi membuktikan, tinggi rendahnya bunyi memang terjadi di daerah Pandeglang, Baros. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diatas pelafalan bunyi segmental dalam analisis ini telah menemukan data-data bahwa dalam percakapan sehari-hari 100% membuktikan bahwa bunyi segmental di terapkan dalam kehidupan, serta telah menemukan bunyi bahasa dalam percakapan kehidupan sehari-hari seperti bunyi vokal, konsonan, diftong, kluster, serta tinggi rendahnya bunyi yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency's hegemony as revolutionary breakthrough for the future financial transaction system prompts an examination of the role of jargon in persuasive techniques on social media platform X. The study aims to explore linguistics form of crypto jargon and recognize how jargon functions in persuasive techniques related to cryptocurrency on platform X. Focusing data on posts from crypto influencer @saylor and crypto exchange @binance, this study identifies 10 types of cryptocurrency jargon, highlighting the dominance of compounding. A new category, Visual Jargon is introduced, emphasizing visual elements like icons and logos, supported by GIF, image, and emoticon features on platform X. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of jargon in fostering group identity within the cryptocurrency ecosystem, as evidenced by survey results indicating over 90% agreement on its positive function as a symbol of membership and prestige. The hashtag feature on platform X facilitates connections among crypto enthusiasts. Semantically, connotative meaning of crypto jargon enables precise communication, reinforcing concept of identification within persuasive techniques. Grammatically, it introduces specific structures that accurately simplify communication. It aligns with the positive function of jargon in improving language efficiency, in accordance with the posting guidelines on platform X which are limited to only 280 characters. However, audience comments indicate potential lack of understandings among those outside crypto community.

Abstract

Kemampuan Tata Bahasa masih dikategorikan belum baik. Rendahnya Tata Bahasa siswa Disleksia disebabkan oleh Tata Bahasa yang tidak sejalan antara guru dan siswa. Untuk mengembangkan kemampuan Tata Bahasa siswa dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong siswa dalam berkomunikasi matematis. Salah satu model yang bisa membantu kemampuan Tata Bahasa siswa adalah model Jigsaw. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan Pola Tata Bahasa yang ditinjau pada model Jigsaw. Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif single subjek. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa Disleksia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan pola kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang bervariasi pada kemampuan Tata Bahasa siswa Disleksia yakni Kategori Rendah, Sedang dan Tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, menganalisa strategi komunikasi orangtua dalam mengembangkan kemampuan Mean of Length Utterances (MLU) yang memiliki anak dengan gangguan pendengaran pengguna Cochlear Implant (CI). Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara kepada orangtua, serta observasi pada anak dan mengambil sampling 75-100 ujaran spontan anak gangguan pendengaran pengguna cochlear implant (CI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orangtua menggunakan strategi berkomunikasi dominan secara verbal dengan melakukan pengulangan dan aktif setelah anak melakukan latihan mendengar, selain itu faktor usia anak menerima implan koklea juga menentukan keberhasilan dalam meningkatnya panjang rata-rata ujaran atau mean of length utterance (MLU).

Abstract

Kurikulum selalu mengalami perubahan pada setiap periode, bahkan beberapa orang berpendapat bahwa penyesuaian program kurikulum ini dikaitkan dengan pergantian dan penyesuaian dengan pemerintahan, dan saat ini telah hadir kurikulum baru yaitu kurikulum Merdeka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk kurikulum Bahasa arab di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Qodiri dan mengetahui impementasi kurikulum merdeka yang dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Al-Qodiri. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deksriptif kualitatif. tehnik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dan hasil penelitian ini yaitu ketika guru Menanyakan bentuk kalimat bertanya, hanya sebagian siswa yang menjawab, karena kemampuan siswa variatif ada yang sebelumnya sudah belajar di pesantren dan pernah belajar ilmu bahasa arab dan sebagian siswa ada juga yang sebelumnya belum pernah belajar ilmu bahasa. Dalam silabus ini juga terdapat sesi diskusi antara siswa dan guru, jadinya pelajaran tidak hanya berasal dari sumber. Serta dalam evaluasi siswa juga mempunyai tugas untuk menganalisis teks tentang kalimat-kalimat tanya dalam bahasa Arab. Serta terdapat beberapa kendala dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka, baik itu di guru, bahan ajar, metode mengajar, serta media yang digunakan.

Abstract

The learning process must involve many parties, which are balanced by technological developments to make it easier to achieve a certain atmosphere in the learning process so that students are comfortable in learning. Learning evaluation itself is carried out to determine the extent of students' knowledge, here evaluation is in a narrow sense. Meanwhile, in a broader sense, learning evaluation itself measures the level of success and failure of a learning process in achieving an expected educational goal. The book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim, namely the cultivation of santri learning ethics is a necessity in the world of learning, because with santri learning ethics participants can study well, in relation to the problem of santri learning ethics, there are three things, namely: about science, procedures for obtaining knowledge, various attitudes carried out by educators in seeking knowledge. Humans are social creatures who always interact with other individuals in order to fulfill their needs. Tasāmuḥ behavior is one of the characteristics that a person can carry out as an answer to how to deal with the differences that exist in humans. Tasāmuḥ behavior should be applied in everyday life so that harmony can be created both in family life, society, and national and state life. This attitude must also be instilled in children and students in the learning process, so that they are able to internalize this attitude in his life. The Mujadi Education Unit (SPM) Ulya Al-Amiriyyah is a school with an increasing percentage of students entering every year and has experienced good progress in a short period of time. SPM Ulya is a formal education unit at the same level as MA, SMA or SMK which is a branch of formal education at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Amiriyyah Darussalam.

Abstract

The decline of the Islamic world in the 18th century was triggered by complacency and rigid thinking, where Muslims understood religion blindly without deep understanding. The Western factor that dominated education in the Islamic world also contributed to this stagnation. Liberals see Western modernization as the key to the success of advanced civilization, especially in technology. This modernization, represented by the airplane, created an impetus for Muslims to pursue technological advancement. The Qur'an, as a universal guide for Muslims, must be interpreted according to the context of the times to remain relevant. Modernism brought disciplines such as economics, psychology, history, law, politics, and social sciences, which have a clear religious legal basis. Modernist thought emphasized the need for modern education in developing Islamic society. Muhammad Abduh, an Egyptian reformer, highlighted the inability of Muslims to build an advanced civilization. His thinking created a reformist project, placing Islamic education as the foundation for creating a modern and moral society. The modernization of Islamic education by figures such as Abduh and Rashid Ridha was geared towards achieving modern scientific advancement and competing on a global level. However, efforts to modernize Islamic education are not always successful. Some efforts, such as those made by Ziya Gokalp and Fazlur Rahman, are trapped in secularism or ineffective. This research uses a literature study method with a Historical-Philosophical and Empirical-Phenomenological approach. The findings show that the modernism of Islamic education in tafsir al-Manār by Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Ridha involves reforms in curriculum, teaching staff, institutions, and teaching methods. This research contributes by digging deeper into the concept of modernism in Islamic education from a historical and philosophical point of view. As a response to social and cultural conditions, modernism in Islamic education is essential to build an Islamic civilization that is dynamic and relevant in the context of an ever-evolving era.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kitab Aqidatul Awwam di SMP Negeri 02 Songgon menghubungkan antara materi dan pengalaman siswa sehingga terjadi interaksi di dalam kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning Aqidatul Awwam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Informan kunci diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik wawancara, studi dokumenter, dan observasi. Peneliti menggunakan metode triangulasi dalam validasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode CTL untuk pembelajaran Aqidatul Awwam menggunakan metode example non example. Pembelajaran ini memiliki beberapa langkah. Langkah pertama adalah guru memberikan arti dari kitab klasik, minimal empat lagu (nadzam Aqidatul Awwam). Kemudian guru menyiapkan gambar-gambar tentang masalah sosial yang berkaitan dengan kajian Aqidahul Awwam. Dan siswa diminta untuk menganalisis tentang masalah tersebut. Kemudian siswa membentuk tiga sampai empat orang dalam satu kelompok untuk berdiskusi. siswa membacakan hasil diskusi untuk dipresentasikan. Dan yang terakhir adalah evaluasi dan penjelasan dari guru SMP.
