Abstract

This study explores the educational values contained in the Qur’an and Hadith as the fundamental foundation for character education in Islamic learning contexts. Amid the challenges of moral decline and the weakening of ethical awareness in contemporary society, this research aims to identify and analyze key Qur’anic and Prophetic values that contribute to the formation of holistic character development. Using a qualitative library research method with a thematic analysis approach, relevant verses of the Qur’an and selected Hadith were examined to uncover core educational principles, including integrity, responsibility, discipline, compassion, justice, and spiritual consciousness. The findings indicate that the Qur’an and Hadith present an integrative educational framework combining moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social dimensions, which supports the development of balanced and ethical individuals. These values are not only normative teachings but also provide practical guidance for educational processes rooted in exemplary conduct, habituation, dialogue, and reflective learning. The study concludes that integrating Qur’anic and Prophetic educational values into modern character education curricula is essential to strengthen moral identity and foster socially responsible learners in the contemporary era.

Abstract

This study examines the modernization of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) through the actualization and relevance of the educational thought of Maulana Syaikh TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in the era of Society 5.0. Amid rapid technological advancement and shifting social dynamics, the study aims to analyze how Maulana Syaikh’s philosophy-rooted in spiritual intelligence (al-aql al-ruhani), moral leadership (al-qiyadah al-akhlaqiyyah), and social transformation (al-taghyir al-ijtima'i)-can serve as a conceptual foundation for Islamic educational reform that remains ethically grounded while responsive to contemporary challenges. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using historical, philosophical, and phenomenological methods. Data were collected through field observations and in-depth interviews at Pondok Pesantren Darun Nahdlatain NW Pancor and Pondok Pesantren Syaikh Zainuddin NW Anjani, as well as document analysis of primary texts, particularly Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru, complemented by relevant secondary literature on pesantren modernization and the Society 5.0 paradigm. The findings indicate that Maulana Syaikh’s educational vision integrates ta'lim (instruction), tarbiyah (character formation), and ta'dib (ethical cultivation) into a holistic model that harmonizes knowledge ('ilm) and righteous action ('amal). His emphasis on tawhid and tazkiyah al-nafs as moral foundations aligns with the human-centered learning orientation promoted in Society 5.0, which prioritizes ethical digital literacy, creativity, and social empowerment. The study concludes that pesantren modernization inspired by Maulana Syaikh’s thought is not a departure from Islamic tradition but a dynamic synthesis between spiritual values and technological innovation, offering a transformative framework for nurturing morally grounded, socially responsible, and future-ready Muslim learners.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of quality management in human resource development as a strategic approach to enhancing the global competitiveness of Islamic educational institutions. In the context of increasingly complex educational challenges driven by globalization, technological advancement, and shifting labor market demands, Islamic educational institutions are required to strengthen the competence, professionalism, and spiritual integrity of their human resources. This research aims to analyze how quality management principles-encompassing planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement-are conceptualized and practiced in the development of educators and educational staff to achieve institutional excellence. The study employs a qualitative descriptive library research approach, drawing on systematic analysis of scholarly journal articles, academic books, policy documents, and authoritative literature related to Total Quality Management (TQM), human resource development, and Islamic education management. Data were examined using thematic content analysis to identify key patterns, strategies, and conceptual linkages across sources. The findings indicate that the integration of TQM principles with Islamic ethical values effectively fosters a culture of professionalism, accountability, continuous learning, and ethical leadership. Human resource development initiatives emphasizing competency-based training, spiritual character cultivation, formative evaluation, and participatory management contribute significantly to improved educational quality and institutional adaptability. Furthermore, alignment between modern quality management practices and Islamic moral principles strengthens organizational commitment and supports the formation of globally competitive graduates who embody both intellectual capability ('ilm) and moral integrity (akhlaq). The study concludes that quality management of human resource development constitutes a fundamental pillar for transforming Islamic educational institutions into globally competitive entities while preserving their distinctive spiritual and ethical identity.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter dan moral bangsa serta mencetak generasi unggul secara intelektual dan spiritual. Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya manajemen mutu dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan keuangan pada lembaga pendidikan Islam sebagai upaya meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Perencanaan anggaran yang matang, partisipatif, berbasis data, dan selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah menjadi fondasi utama pengelolaan keuangan yang akuntabel dan transparan. Selain itu, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi keuangan yang sistematis mendukung integritas lembaga dan mencegah penyalahgunaan dana. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, sistem administrasi, dan anggaran operasional, serta strategi peningkatan mutu melalui pelatihan, digitalisasi sistem keuangan, dan inovasi pendanaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen mutu keuangan bukan sekadar prosedur administratif, melainkan komponen integral dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan Islam yang profesional, akuntabel, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kemampuan pengambilan keputusan merupakan keterampilan fundamental bagi seorang pemimpin dalam menghadapi berbagai persoalan strategis. Dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam, seorang pemimpin dituntut untuk mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan kebutuhan manajemen pendidikan modern yang menuntut keputusan yang cepat, tepat, dan berorientasi pada solusi. Kompleksitas permasalahan yang dihadapi lembaga pendidikan Islam, baik dari aspek internal seperti pengelolaan sumber daya dan pengembangan kurikulum maupun aspek eksternal seperti persaingan global dan tuntutan masyarakat, menegaskan pentingnya kemampuan penyelesaian masalah yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kemampuan pengambilan keputusan dan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah pada pemimpin pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan melalui telaah berbagai buku, artikel, dan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dengan fokus penelitian. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menelaah konsep-konsep teoritis dan temuan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua kemampuan tersebut memiliki hubungan yang erat dan bersifat saling melengkapi. Penyelesaian masalah menjadi landasan dalam pengambilan keputusan, sementara pengambilan keputusan merupakan tahap akhir dari proses pemecahan masalah. Nilai musyawarah menjadi penghubung utama dalam manajemen pendidikan Islam, menghasilkan komplementaritas antara keduanya yang bersifat siklikal serta memiliki pengaruh timbal balik terhadap efektivitas kepemimpinan.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep IPA masih menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran sains karena banyak peserta didik mengalami miskonsepsi dan kesulitan mengaitkan konsep dengan proses ilmiah yang mendasarinya. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis peran epistemologi dalam memperkuat pemahaman konsep peserta didik melalui integrasi filsafat ilmu dalam pembelajaran IPA. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah buku filsafat ilmu, jurnal pendidikan sains, dan penelitian mutakhir terkait epistemologi, pemahaman konsep, serta praktik pembelajaran IPA. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi epistemologi membantu peserta didik memahami konsep sebagai hasil proses ilmiah yang sistematis melalui observasi, eksperimen, argumentasi, dan evaluasi bukti. Pendekatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman mendalam, memperbaiki miskonsepsi, serta mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kesadaran epistemik siswa. Selain itu, integrasi epistemologi memberikan dasar filosofis bagi guru untuk merancang pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, penilaian proses, serta diskusi reflektif yang selaras dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Kesimpulannya, penerapan perspektif epistemologi dalam pembelajaran IPA memberikan kontribusi penting dalam membangun pemahaman konsep yang lebih bermakna, kritis, dan tahan lama sehingga mampu mendukung terbentuknya peserta didik yang literat sains dan siap menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Guru fisika SMAN 7 Padang pada umumnya hanya mengandalkan bahan ajar berupa buku cetak dan PPT dalam pembelajaran sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik. Mengingat permasalahan tersebut terdapatnya peluang untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika, melalui terciptanya e-modul interaktif berbantuan heyzine menjadi solusi dari permasalahan ini. Hezine flipbook menjadikan modul interaktif dapat memuat gambar, video, virtual lab serta animasi yang menarik sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa yang rendah serta memenuhi keberagaman gaya belajar peserta didik. Dalam penelitian yang akan dikembangkan oleh peneliti yaitu Pembuatan E-Modul Interaktif Terintegrasi Model Inkuiri Terbimbing pada Materi Fluida Statis dan Dinamis berbantuan Heyzine flipvook untuk Siswa Fase F SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE, menggunakan skala Aiken’s V dalam mengolah data. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh produk yang valid dan layak setelah melakukan evaluasi oleh tenaga ahli dengan rata-rata nilai validitas sebesar 0,96 berkategori valid. Kemudian hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil penilaian praktikalitas kepada 2 guru fisika yaitu sebesar 99,2% kategori sangat praktis, dan kepada satu kelas Fase F dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 94,58% kategori sangat praktis. Sehingga produk ini terbukti praktis dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often experience considerable difficulties in recognizing and expressing emotions, which in turn affect their social–emotional skills. This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of an Augmented Reality (AR)–based adapted book as a visual therapy medium to support emotional recognition in children with autism. The research employed the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Expert validation indicated that the media was categorized as highly valid, with an Aiken’s V score of 0.89. The implementation stage involved 10 children with autism aged 7–10 years, who participated in four 30-minute visual therapy sessions. The pretest–posttest results revealed a significant increase in the mean score of emotional recognition, from 45.2 to 76.8 (p < 0.001; d = 0.95). Moreover, 82% of the participants responded more quickly to 3D stimuli compared to conventional card media. Teachers and therapists reported that the media was engaging, user-friendly, and effective in enhancing children’s focus during therapy sessions. These findings strengthen the body of evidence that integrating AR into learning media can effectively improve the social–emotional skills of children with ASD. In practical terms, this product is feasible for use in inclusive schools and therapy centers as an innovative, interactive, and adaptive alternative for visual therapy for children with autism.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media to enhance sign language learning skills for deaf students in the Special Education Study Program at Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember. The research method employed is the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The analysis phase revealed that the sign language learning process still relies on conventional methods without the support of innovative media, indicating the need for an interactive technology-based solution such as AR. The developed media is an AR application featuring 3D models of hand and finger movements adapted from the SIBI Dictionary, designed based on VISUALS principles to ensure ease of use, accuracy, and precision in learning. Validation results from media experts indicated a feasibility percentage of 89.37%, while material experts rated it at 86.66%, both categorized as highly feasible. The application was implemented with 11 deaf students, showing an average usage effectiveness of 94.54%, along with positive responses regarding ease of use, information accuracy, and flexibility in learning sign language anytime and anywhere. Evaluation was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure the application's effectiveness. The findings demonstrate that AR-based learning media is highly effective in improving sign language comprehension and providing an inclusive learning experience for deaf students. This application is expected to serve as an innovative alternative learning medium in higher education to support technology-based inclusive education.

Abstract

Interactive learning media play a crucial role in promoting cognitive and social development in early childhood education. This study aims to develop an interactive pop-up storybook based on local wisdom as a medium to foster the value of tolerance in young children. Using the 4D Research and Development (R&D) model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), the study involved children aged 4–6 years enrolled in early childhood education programs. The Define stage identified needs, analyzed curriculum alignment, and explored cultural relevance. The Design stage produced a prototype integrating local cultural values, interactive features, and multisensory elements to enhance engagement and understanding of social values. The Develop stage included validation of the prototype by experts in early childhood education, child psychology, and local wisdom, resulting in an overall validity score of 90.2% (highly valid), followed by a limited trial which showed significant improvements in engagement, social interaction, and children’s understanding of tolerance. The Disseminate stage evaluated the usability of the media by teachers, achieving a high score of 87.5%. The results indicate that the interactive pop-up storybook effectively enhances cognitive, social, and emotional engagement while instilling tolerance and social values. This study underscores the potential of culturally contextualized interactive media to strengthen holistic learning experiences, learning motivation, and the development of inclusive social character in early childhood.
