Abstract

This research analyzes the application of the Learning Start With a Question method in PAI learning at UPT SMP 23 Gresik. It was found that the teacher succeeded in implementing this method well. The steps involve students in creating questions from the reading material provided, followed by discussion in class. The advantage is the direct involvement of all students in more interactive learning. However, the weakness is that students who are lazy about reading tend to repeat their friends' questions and sometimes ask things outside the material. The descriptive qualitative method allowed researchers to explain the actual conditions in the field. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, presentation and verification. The research showed an increase in average student grades and positive individual achievements. Even though there are weaknesses, such as students not participating enough in reading and sometimes asking questions outside the material, overall, this method successfully improves PAI learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that Learning Start With a Question effectively increases students' understanding of Islamic religious education in class VII SMPN 23 Gresik.

Abstract

This research explores the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving students' discipline in carrying out congregational prayers at MTs Tarbiyatul Islam Karangrejo Ujungpangkah Gresik. The background is based on the phenomenon where some students still depend on teacher instructions to perform prayers; some even hide themselves when asked to do so. Field research methods with a qualitative approach were used to collect data through interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis shows that the teacher's role in fostering student discipline in worship has gone well. Even though there are inhibiting factors that cannot be avoided, the teacher's efforts in providing guidance, direction and explanation have increased students' awareness of carrying out congregational prayers. More than just imposing sanctions for absenteeism from prayer, this approach builds intrinsic awareness in students about the importance of congregational prayer for self-discipline, peace of mind, closeness to God, and strengthening social ties with the surrounding community. These findings illustrate the critical role of teachers in shaping students' spiritual awareness and discipline outside the school environment, creating a more profound impact in forming their character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak layanan bimbingan dan konseling terhadap peningkatan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Dengan menggunakan metodologi studi literatur, penelitian ini menyusun dan menganalisis literatur-literatur terkait untuk membangun dasar teoretis yang kuat. Hasil penelitian menyoroti peran krusial layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan kemandirian siswa serta meningkatkan aspek kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang mendukung efektivitas layanan tersebut, termasuk strategi penerapan di lingkungan MTs. Assa'adah I. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pemahaman praktisi, pendidik, dan peneliti mengenai upaya meningkatkan kemandirian dan kesejahteraan psikologis siswa melalui penerapan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di tingkat pendidikan menengah. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi terkait pengembangan program bimbingan dan konseling yang lebih efektif, serta perluasan peran guru pembimbing dalam memberdayakan siswa. Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang peran pesantren dalam menjaga kearifan lokal dan budaya tradisional.Dalam artikel ini ada tiga pembahasan. Pembahasan pertama terfokus pada peran pesantren dalam bidang pendidikan.Diskusi ini membahas bagaimana pendidikan agama Islam dapat menjadi dasar untuk memahami dan menjaga kearifan lokal dan budaya tradisional.Diskusi kedua fokus pada pesantren dan budaya lokal.Penelitian ini akan mengeksplorasi hubungan pesantren dengan budaya lokal, termasuk seni tradisional, musik, tari, adat istiadat, dan praktik keagamaan tradisional.Pembahasan berikut ini mengenai peran pimpinan pesantren.Yang penting dalam pembahasan ini adalah peran pemimpin yang bertanggung jawab menjaga nilai sebuah budaya lokal yang diungkapkan dalam tradisi, adat istiadat, dan norma masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Quality Management (TQM) in improving the quality of graduates at MAN 4 Agam. The TQM approach is applied to create a holistic, integrated and sustainable education system. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The main focus of the research is on strategies to improve learning quality, Islamic character development, and the challenges and successes of TQM implementation. The results showed that the implementation of TQM at MAN 4 Agam focuses on strengthening the curriculum based on Islamic values, training teachers to improve pedagogical and technological competencies, and implementing innovative learning methods. In addition, the habituation of religious programs such as tahfidz Al-Qur'an, morning halaqah, and congregational worship has contributed to the formation of students' Islamic character. However, the implementation of TQM at MAN 4 Agam also faced challenges, such as budget limitations, resistance to change, and lack of parental involvement. Nevertheless, continuous evaluation and support from various parties have helped overcome these obstacles. This study concludes that TQM is effective in improving the academic and character quality of graduates and can serve as a model for other educational institutions.

Abstract

Basically, humans have a natural tendency to think; the purpose of this process is to produce knowledge and truth. Knowledge helps answer questions and problems faced by humans. Thus, science is needed to answer the challenges faced by humans. Thus, the author will examine the nature of truth, the criteria for scientific truth: types and characteristics, Furthermore, the method for finding scientific truth in the field of Islamic education management. This paper closes by concluding the problem. The method used is qualitative and uses a library research approach. This research was conducted by collecting a number of data and information from the results of the literature, and then presenting new findings. The results of the study indicate that truth is an important aspect in the search for accurate and valid knowledge. The concept of truth is often identified as the correspondence between a statement or belief with objective reality, but other philosophical approaches also recognize truth through coherence, consensus, and pragmatism. Scientific truth has characteristics that are closely related to the scientific method. Scientific knowledge is tentative and can be revised as human understanding develops. The criteria for scientific truth often involve aspects such as logical rationality, empirical content, and can be applied pragmatically

Abstract

The quality of education is highly determined by the learning process in schools and madrasas. School principals and teachers are the main movers who play an important role in the student learning process. The leadership of madrasah principals can be an important aspect in improving the quality of education. The leadership role of the principal aims to improve teacher performance and motivation through training, awarding, and role modeling. Teachers' motivation greatly affects their performance, quality, and ability. Competent and professional school principals with a high sense of responsibility are needed to realize better programs, strategies, and policies to maintain teacher motivation and performance. However, there are still some teachers who lose motivation, caused by various factors, thus affecting their discipline and performance. Therefore, the improvement and creativity of school principals in controlling teacher enthusiasm is very necessary.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter Islami merupakan pilar penting dalam membentuk generasi berakhlak mulia sesuai ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi pendidikan karakter Islami di MTs Pancasila Kota Bengkulu melalui tiga strategi utama: integrasi nilai Islami dalam pembelajaran, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis agama, dan pembiasaan sikap Islami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pendidikan karakter Islami berjalan efektif, terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan kompetensi guru, minimnya fasilitas, rendahnya keterlibatan orang tua, dan pengaruh teknologi negatif. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, madrasah mengadakan pelatihan guru, meningkatkan fasilitas, memperkuat sinergi dengan orang tua, dan mengembangkan literasi digital Islami. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter Islami di madrasah.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have brought significant changes to the world of education, creating new challenges for students in accessing and evaluating information. Digital literacy is the key to ensuring students are not only able to use technology, but also have the critical ability to sort and understand correct and relevant information. This research aims to analyze the level of digital literacy of students at MTs Pancasila, Bengkulu City and the factors that influence it. The research results show that although most students have basic skills in operating technology, they still have difficulty evaluating information critically and selecting valid and relevant information. Internal factors such as interest in learning and technology experience, as well as external factors such as the role of teachers, parents and technology infrastructure in schools play a role in shaping students' digital literacy levels. This research suggests integrating digital literacy skills in the curriculum and increasing support from teachers and parents to develop students' critical thinking skills in using technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam membentuk sikap religius siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan di MTs Pancasila Kota Bengkulu. Nilai-nilai religius sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa agar memiliki moralitas yang baik, tidak hanya secara teoretis tetapi juga aplikatif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan sebagai pembimbing, motivator, dan teladan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan. Kegiatan seperti pengajian, shalat berjamaah, dan pelatihan membaca Al-Qur’an berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman agama siswa dan pembentukan karakter religius. Perubahan sikap siswa terlihat dari antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti kegiatan serta perilaku positif yang mereka tunjukkan di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan kegiatan ini meliputi kompetensi guru, dukungan sekolah, serta keterlibatan aktif siswa. Namun, beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu dan fasilitas masih menjadi tantangan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan pelatihan guru, pengadaan fasilitas, dan pengelolaan waktu yang lebih baik untuk mendukung keberlanjutan kegiatan ini.
