Abstract

The LUKU community is a group of children located in Sarekan Hamlet RT 05, Plembutan, Canden, Jetis, Bantul. Luku itself stands for Put All and Read a 15-minute Book. The children collected in this community are in the age range from early childhood to junior high school. LUKU was formed on the basis of reasons during the COVID-19 pandemic and the home learning policy made children often focused on gadgets and lacked developmental stimulation according to their stage of development. Even though it is the age of these children that the stimulation of creativity is needed. The needs analysis in the LUKU community is that there is a need for developmental stimulation that hones creativity and is also connected to technology (because these children generally have gadgets, but have not been developed optimally according to children's creativity). Therefore, a service program was carried out to stimulate the creativity of the children of the Luku Community through traditional augmented reality-based games. Some of the stages that have been running include socialization, self-learning, and mentoring. The children and parents of the luku community participated in this activity very enthusiastically and always actively participated. Keywords: Creative Incubator, Traditional Games, Augmented Reality

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to provide training and assistance solutions regarding the creation of library catalogs in the context of turning the Ceria Reading Park, Bandengan Subdistrict, Pekalongan City into a digital library. This activity also aims to make Community Service partners a source of information literacy in the digital era for the residents of Bandengan Subdistrict, Pekalongan City, especially visitors to Baca Ceria Park who consist of children and teenagers. The partners for this Community Service activity are the library staff at the Ceria Reading Park, Bandengan Village, Pekalongan City. The method for implementing Community Service activities is divided into 4 stages, namely socialization, training, mentoring and evaluation. The result of this Community Service activity is that in the early stages of socialization activities can be socialized well. In the training stage, Community Service partners can participate in training well and smoothly so that they can get the latest information and knowledge regarding how to create catalogs and digital literacy. Not only does the training end, the mentoring process can strengthen the knowledge and skills that have been obtained from the training as well as accompanying Community Service partners in the training. The final results of the evaluation stage showed that Community Service partners stated that their knowledge about cataloging and knowledge about digital literacy had increased and stated that this Community Service activity could provide benefits for Community Service partners.  Keywords: Community Service, digital literacy, librarian, cheerful reading park

Abstract

This community service activity collaborated with various elements of academia, including Lecturers at the Cilacap State Polytechnic (PNC) and Lecturers at the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology (ITTP) and industrial elements around Cilacap Regency. This activity held in a historic building, aims to form a sustainable creative ecosystem by creating creative placemaking as a platform to improve the creative industry and increase the post-pandemic economy in Cilacap Regency. The method of this activity begins with the selection of the main theme H.A.P (Heritage-Art-Pop) as part of the Tjilatjap – Tjakrawedana 1 Edition Banyumasan Peken. The results of this activity were able to collaborate with all parties who are members of B.Y.O.T Heptahelix activities, namely academics, local government, industry, entrepreneurs, media, community, and aggregators. The discussion regarding the development of creative industries in Cilacap Regency is expected to be able to boost the post-pandemic community's economy and be able to alleviate poverty. Abstract

It is hoped that GRAMASI learning media can help students improve their mathematical literacy and numeracy skills. Under these conditions, teachers are also required to be able to develop learning media that can facilitate student literacy and numeracy. This training activity aims to provide training and assistance to teachers, students, parents and guardians of class V students at SD Negeri Kemiri regarding the development of learning media containing mathematical literacy and numeracy questions consisting of question concepts and question characteristics. The method used is divided into seven stages, namely observing partner conditions (conditions, problems, needs), preparing activity agendas, creating GAMRASI learning media, socializing GAMRASI learning media in schools, applying GAMRASI learning media to students, analysis and evaluation, and final report. The 21 training participants were students, teachers, parents and guardians of students. Through this training activity, teachers can find out how the GAMRASI learning media works and can put it into practice.  Keywords: GAMRASI, Literacy, Numeracy

Abstract

The impact of technology in the world of education, especially in the field of accounting. Advances in Information Technology (IT) have an impact on the application and development of accounting science. The emergence of terms such as ebusiness and enterprise systems shows that the world of accounting will become increasingly complex, not just managing journals and preparing financial reports. The role of an accountant can cover three areas, namely designer, user and examiner. Therefore, vocational schools in the field of accounting need to have up-to-date knowledge regarding IT developments in accounting. Pantia PkM conducted a survey, the results found partner problems, namely, the need to improve the abilities and skills of Era Utama Pancur Batu Vocational School students in using IT and required knowledge sharing activities related to transaction management activities to producing financial reports using Accurate Software. Based on this problem, the solution given is to carry out community service activities (PkM) in the form of training in the form of workshops on using the Accurate 5 application. The aim of this PkM is to increase students' information technology knowledge and abilities in operating the Accurate Version 5 application. keyword: Accurate Software; accounting; Financial Information;

Abstract

Literacy is often defined as the ability to read and write, so the actual concept needs to be applied. There are several efforts to develop literacy skills. The aim of this service is to increase the capacity for literacy skills in the LUKU children's community through implementing the among system using 3 principles, namely momong, among and ngemong. The method for implementing this service activity is through direct partner involvement and is implemented through 3 principles in the among system. Service activities were carried out at the LUKU Children's Community with 25 children and were attended by a variety of ages starting from 3 years old to junior high school level. The results of the implementation of this service activity provide an illustration that through the implementation of the among system, indicators of success in achieving children's literacy skills can emerge. Abstract

Padukuhan Tambak, Ngestiharjo Urban Village, Bantul, has a high population density and has a waste problem which is the main issue. Narrow land makes it more difficult for residents to dispose of garbage around their homes, besides that residents throw garbage carelessly, even in river basins, which causes the river to overflow during the rainy season and causes an unpleasant smell. The urgency of this PKM activity is the need to unravel and overcome waste problems to support the Bantul Bersama program, by empowering the community from the lowest level (village level). Partners in this activity are the Mitra Melati Garbage Bank Group (KBS) in Padukuhan Tambak. Priority problems faced by partners are 1) they do not understand waste management, 2) waste segregation is not optimal, 3) lack of skills in managing waste savings/alms, and 4) waste residues are not managed properly. The purpose of this PKM activity is to unravel the problems of waste management in Padukuhan Tambak, to assist partners in dealing with waste management to support the realization of the 2025 Bantul Bersama program.  Keywords: Waste management, Bantul Bersama, Empowerment, Garbage Bank

Abstract

This community service was carried out in the Tambak Hamlet, Ngestiharjo Village, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Tambak Hamlet is a hamlet located in the Ngestiharjo Village, Bantul, which is on the outskirts of Yogyakarta. Therefore, the population in this area is quite dense, so that agricultural land becomes increasingly limited. Narrow land still exists in this area, which can be used for farming or planting horticultural crops. However, nowadays the weather is getting more and more erratic, so the time for planting is becoming more difficult. In Tambak Hamlet there is already an IoT-based green house for smart farming for horticultural crops, but it has not been managed, because it is still in the development stage. Based on this, the service team is trying to make a suggestion regarding the management of the green house, so that the results can be maximized and able to increase the economic value for the community. This service aims to develop agricultural digitalization through the Smart Farming Model, using Internet of Things (IoT) technology, to assist in crop monitoring, so that the growth and yield of horticultural crops is optimal. The purpose of this service is in line with the 3rd and 5th Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of Higher Education. The 3rd IKU, namely lecturers who carry out activities outside the campus, in this case the lecturer performs community service which is carried out in the Tambak Hamlet. The 5th IKU is the work of lecturers used by the community, namely in the form of ideas and thoughts in the development of smart farming. The expected outputs from this community service activity are services in the form of training and assistance for the management of green house smart farming, and publication in the form of scientific articles that will be published in national journals. Abstract

This service is motivated by the problems faced by family planning teachers at Cluster 7 Kindergarten, Kasihan Bantul District, Yogyakarta regarding: 1). Teachers still lack understanding in implementing a scientific approach in learning at school. 2). Teachers do not understand the stages of implementing scientific learning such as observing, asking questions, collecting, associating and communicating information in class activities. This service aims to provide training and assistance in the application of scientific learning and environmental management to facilitate independent learning for early childhood. The method in this research uses: lectures, questions and answers, and supervisory actions carried out over 2 cycles. There are four stages in service activities and each cycle consists of: planning, implementation, observation and evaluation (reflection). The results of the training implementation show that the PAUD teachers at KB TK Gugus 7, Kasihan Bantul District, Yogyakarta, in implementing scientific learning and environmental arrangements to facilitate independent learning for early childhood improved after participating in training and mentoring activities. Abstract

Most of the students at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Mijen Islamic Boarding School in Semarang City are teenagers aged 17-21 years. Adolescence is at the limit of preserving the life of an adult child. His body looks mature but is often treated like an adult and often fails to show maturity such as anxiety, conflict, confusion and frequent self-conflict. This problem is an interesting study to develop. The problem in this service is what is the process of mentoring peer counselors at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School, Mijen District, Semarang City? How is the development of Islamic Guidance and Counseling services at the Fadhlul Fadhlan Islamic Boarding School, Mijen District, Semarang City? This service aims to provide training to develop individual skills in peer counseling, as well as being able to foster social relationships in accordance with desires and independence. The service is carried out using the PAR method, where before carrying out this service, the researcher first conducts research in the field. The strategy used in this peer counseling assistance is Focus Group Discussion (FGD), as well as assistance with peer counseling practices. The result of this service is to bring back the students' potential to be able to solve and unravel the problems of their lives, and to be able to synergize with their peers to move forward together in growing their basic potential.
