Abstract

This study aims to increase students' enthusiasm and learning outcomes in learning Physical Education (PE), especially on physical fitness material, at SDN Pakis 1/368 Surabaya through the application of warm-up variations. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach, with the research subjects being class 4A students. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests, and analyzed through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, reflection, and subsequent action. The results showed an increase in the average score of students' learning outcomes in the skill aspect from 81 in the initial stage to 89 in the second cycle, while in the attitude aspect from 80 to 90. The variety of warm-ups in PE learning has significantly improved students' enthusiasm and their learning outcomes. It is recommended that PE educators pay more attention to the integration of warm-up variations in learning to improve students' enthusiasm and overall learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of support in the utilization of mobile learning applications among 38 Physical Education, Sports, and Health Teachers in Lahat Regency. Employing a quantitative descriptive methodology through a survey approach, the research encompasses pre-test and post-test assessments. During the pre-test phase, the results highlight a deficiency in teachers' knowledge regarding mobile learning applications, specifically in comprehending their purpose and operational functionalities. Nonetheless, the post-test outcomes signify a significant enhancement, revealing that the teachers developed awareness and proficiency in utilizing mobile learning applications. They demonstrated an improved understanding of the applications' objectives and acquired the necessary skills for their effective implementation. The transition from the pre-test to the post-test phase signifies the success of the provided assistance in bridging the knowledge gap among the teachers. This implies that the intervention, likely delivered in the form of training or guidance, positively influenced the participants' comprehension and utilization of mobile learning applications. The research findings underscore the critical role of targeted support in augmenting educators' familiarity with technology, ultimately contributing to the seamless integration of mobile learning tools in educational settings. Consequently, this study makes a noteworthy contribution to the ongoing discourse on the significance of mobile applications in pedagogy, particularly within the domain of Physical Education, Sports, and Health.Key words: mobile learning, physical education, era 4.0.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out : (1) differences Character Education for PENJAS Subjects between the use of Project-Based Learning and conventional methods for Character Education for PENJAS Subjects, (2) differences High interest in learning and low interest in learning in the Character Education of PENJAS Subjects , and (3) the interaction between the learning model and Interest in learning in the Character Education of PENJAS Subjects , in this case Interest as a moderator variable really supports the strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable . This experimental research was carried out using a 2x2 factorial design. The subjects in this research were class VIII students consisting of four classes with 110 group B students. The subjects that were the focus of the experiment were taken at random, namely group B. This research hypothesis was tested using the Analysis of Variant (Anova) statistical test. The calculation results show that: Based on the results of hypothesis testing and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: (1) There is a difference in the influence of using Project-Based Learning and conventional methods on Character Education in PENJAS Subjects , namely that students who use Project-Based Learning are better Subjects PENJAS than students who use conventional methods, (2) There is a difference in the influence of high interest in learning and low interest in learning on character education in PENJAS subjects , namely students with high interest in learning are better in PENJAS subjects than students with low interest in learning, and (3 ) There is an interaction effect between the learning model and interest in learning on the character education of the PENJAS subject , in this case interest as a moderator variable really supports the strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The effect of using project-based learning with high interest can improve PENJAS subjects

Abstract

Joint disorders are one of the most common health problems in the community, whether due to injury, degenerative disease or excessive physical activity. These conditions often lead to reduced range of motion and increased joint pain, which can have a negative impact on quality of life. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of static exercise and effriction massage therapy in improving joint mobility and reducing pain in patients with joint disorders. The research used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The sample consisted of 30 adults with lower back pain selected by purposive sampling. Participants received two interventions effraction massage focused on the lumbar region of the back and static exercises. The massage was administered by a therapist for 15 minutes and focused on the lumbar region. Pain levels and functional movement were measured before and after the interventions using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Data were analysed using paired t-tests. The results of this research data show that there is effectiveness of static exercise and mass effriction on the recovery of back pain perception in athletes with a t-count value of 15.07, an average of 6.58 and 95% confidence interval level with the lowest value of 3.95 and the highest value of 7.33. There are significant results of static flexibility training to increase the flexibility of the back in athletes with a t-count value of 5.68, an average of 2.49 and 95% confidence interval level with the lowest value of 1.64 and the highest value of 3.47.The conclusion of the study showed that massage effriction and flexibility training can provide changes in the perception of pain and flexibility of the back in athletes.

Abstract

Physical literacy is the development of various human movements consisting of basic movement skills and basic sports skills, so that these skills provide tools for humans to do physical activities that improve or maintain lifelong health. On average, students after school do not have time to do physical activities, this shows that awareness of physical activity is very low, in addition, in physical education learning there are still students who lack and have not optimized physical activity, so that motivation, understanding, knowledge and movement activities in children decrease. This study aims to determine the effect of reciprocal learning in big ball games in improving physical literacy in 12-year-old children at the junior high school level. The method in this study uses a randomized control group pretest-posttest design experimental study, this experimental study was conducted on a group with a control or comparison group, the research sample consisted of 12-year-old children at the junior high school level, the research instrument used in this study adopted from the measurement of physical literacy from the Canadian Assessment of Physical Literacy (CAPL). The results in the independent t-test output table in the equal variances assumed section are known to have a Sig (2-tailed) of 0.015 <0.05 so that a decision can be taken that in the independent sample t-test it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, thus the results of this study conclude that there is a significant difference in the final test results of reciprocal learning in big ball games in improving physical literacy between the intervention group and the control group.

Abstract

In physical education, many aspects must be considered so that it can see whether the physical education learning provided can provide good results, in physical education it is very important to evaluate students so that teachers can provide direction for effective learning, this must be reviewed with the level of fear of negative evaluation in students so that teachers can adjust what will be given to students. This study aims to determine the level of fear of negative evaluation in physical education based on gender and age. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method using survey research design by distributing questionnaires through Google Form which is done directly. The population in this study were grade XI students in 3 high schools with a total of 610 students. The researcher's sampling technique used Purposive Sampling technique by including grade XI students, students aged 16-17 years. The instrument used in this study is the Brief Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale from Leary (1983). All data collected from the research sample were tested for assumptions, namely normality and homogeneity, after declaring the data to be normally distributed and homogeneous, then the analysis was carried out using the mean difference test (Independent T-Test). The results of the analysis show that the level of FNE of male and female students is significantly different (p_value 0.00 < 0.05), and also based on age, there is a significant difference (p_value 0.03 < 0.05). Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the level of FNE in physical education based on gender and age has different FNE. Important implications of the results of this study, considering the category of gender and age differences should be distinguished as one of the psychological parameters both in the form of assistance and intervention can be given to students in physical education so that learning takes place effectively.
