Abstract

Continuing professional development is one of the teacher's efforts to improve teacher competency. The ability of teachers to support competence can be implemented through the implementation of self-development, the implementation of scientific work publications, the implementation of innovative works. Based on the situation analysis, it was obtained that SMP Nurul Hidayah teachers had not been maximized in producing a scientific work in increasing professionalism as a teacher. On the basis of the analysis of a problem, a problem-solving framework is created by carrying out community service with the title of publication of scientific works as a form of continuing professional development. The purpose of this service is that teachers are expected to understand and know various types of scientific work publications that can be utilized and maximized by the teacher. The method of community service is done by way of workshops. The results of community service conducted with the target of Nurul Hidayah Middle School teachers, Bojongsari Depok, that the teachers have understood the types of scientific publications, were seen during the question and answer session between the speaker and the service participants. The follow-up of this service is the implementation of further services that have an impact on increasing the ability to produce scientific work.

Abstract

Effective learning can be achieved if the teacher is able to analyze the learning problem and solve it. One of the solutions to this problem is through research based on the creation of educational products. Based on the situation analysis, it was found that the teachers at Nurul Hidayah Foundation had not been maximized in conducting research that produced educational products as solutions to learning problems. This difficulty is felt because teachers still do not understand how to conduct research that produces educational products. This situation has an impact on the ineffectiveness of learning undertaken. Based on that, community service is carried out with the aim of providing socialization and mentoring to teachers in developing educational scientific products with elementary and junior high school teachers in the Nurul Hidayah Foundation. The activity was carried out using lecture, discussion and workshop methods. The results obtained are the teacher is able to understand and implement how to register problems, identify problems, determine problems, and determine the topic of research based on educational products.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to find out how closely the management of the cage and feed does have implications for cattle fattening in the Sindanglaya Village, Subang Regency and the empowerment of the local community. The measurement method uses three approaches including (1) phenomenalogical research method in which the method is based on the philosophy of postpositivism used in object conditions, key instruments, data collection techniques carried out by triangulation (combined) the results of the analysis are inductive to suppress the meaning of Creswell 2009 generalization ( in his book Sugiyono 2017: 24), (2) The grounded theory method of this research is one type of qualitative methods, to attract generalizations that are observed inductively, (3) Ethnography method is qualitative strategy (Crewell 2009) states one type of qualitative research is conducting Study of group culture through interview observation. The results of observations and interviews on community service can be revealed that beef cattle are declared a potential livestock subsector commodity. from the high demand for beef requires effective breakthrough efforts and support from the government and the community. The existence of governance of cows and cattle feed has implications for sustainable cattle fattening programs. The quality of feed is very implicated in the acceleration of beef cattle fattening. The concept of cage management has an impact on cattle health, and traditional food which produces added value in empowering the workforce. for increasing people's welfare.

Abstract

The aim of community service is to provide training to participants to develop technology towards teenager psychology and behaviour effect at 83 State Junior High School Jakarta. The method used there are several stages including the preparation phase, which includes initial survey stabilization and determination of locations and targets. After the survey, the location of the implementation and target of the activity participants are determined. The next stage is the implementation phase of Community Services. The stage will be given understanding knowledge and develop technology being useful for teenagers. This session focuses on providing explanation of how teacher can develop technology nowadays. And the last is the training stage with several methods including lectures, questions and answers, and simulations. The results of Community Service are that the participants (teachers) understand more and gain knowledge about develop technology. There are several strategies that can be tried to develop technology, namely 1) Motivation, 2) Delegation and 3) Appreciation. So the teacher does not create products but creates influence.

Abstract

Based on the National Survey of Indonesian Financial Literacy conducted in 2013, it is known that the level of financial literacy of Indonesian people which is classified as well literate is only 21.8% sufficient literate is 75.69% less literate is 2.06% and non-literate is 0.14 %. The main purpose of the National Financial Literacy Strategy is to realize Indonesian people who have a high level of financial literacy so that people can choose and utilize financial products and services to improve welfare. Based on this phenomenon, given the importance of financial literacy for the community especially for students, it is necessary to hold a community service related to financial literacy among students at Al Mubarak High School. The method used is an interactive seminar or education in the field of finance to students in order to manage finances intelligently, so that the low knowledge of the financial industry can be overcome and not easily fooled into investment products that offer high returns in the short term without considering the risks. The results of this dedication activity are that students become more educated with regard to financial literacy and the use of financial institution products and services, which begin with interactive seminars and continue with directed discussions between presenters and students consisting of 69 AL Mubarak high school students, as well as introduction to products and services from financial institutions. The importance of financial literacy for students is expected to make individuals wiser and smarter in managing their assets so that they can provide benefits in supporting individual finances both in the short and long term.

Abstract

The purpose of the implementation of Community Service entitled "The Socialization of Intellectual Property to Grow Businesses in the Context of Facing Global Competition in the Revolution 4.0" is as an effort to fulfill the obligations of the Higher Education Tri Dharma namely Community Service to be carried out at Bandung Lembang Floating Market on 19 October 2019 up to October 21, 2019. Based on the above, community service activities by providing information and or additional knowledge regarding Intellectual Property Rights. The method used in Community Service is in the form of counseling on the understanding of IPR and the importance of IPR for the business world. The types of IPR are also explained in detail. The Community Service Results obtained are the understanding and desire of PKM objects to administer and register IPR in the interests of their business.

Abstract

Children are the new generation who will continue the ideals of the struggle of the nation and human resources for national development. In addition, children are the nation's assets where the future of the nation and state rests on their shoulders. For this reason, children need to be directed, guided, instilled in their overall values in the form of character and given knowledge so that they have competitiveness with the abilities and desires they have on the basis of noble character. This is because every child has a character that can be directed and potential that can be developed. The potential or ability of a true child has existed since he was born on this earth, but will grow and develop with the guidance in learning. Therefore, learning must be a child's priority to be considered. Learning is an effort to find new things, which have not been known before. The government has provided educational facilities to provide a place for Indonesian children to learn. Schools are formal institutions whose job is to organize education where children as the next generation of the nation will learn to gain knowledge. However, learning is not focused on formal education in schools, but learning can be done anywhere, in informal institutions, nature, playing environment and so on, as well as in TPQ or TPA as an informal educational institution that organizes education and teaching in the field of religion. Through the learning process children will be able to develop the potential that exists in their respective individuals. Learning is also very important for children so they can adapt and solve problems both related to friends and the environment, as well as problems that will arise in their lives as adults. It is hoped that Indonesian children can grow and develop with good education and have a personality in the form of good character so that they can work for Religion, and the Nation. The importance of instilling the value of character is the background of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pamulang University Economic Education Study Program to carry out community service in one of the informal educational institutions namely TPQ and TPA Almuhajirin, with the title "The importance of instilling mind and character from an early age in TPQ, TPA Almuhajirin , Sawah Village, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City ". With this activity it is hoped that the students of TPQ and TPA Almuhajirin will be more motivated to learn and be more confident in their abilities and potential. So that in the end they can grow into the next generation of quality people, have good morals, in time they can boast within the scope of their families and communities.

Abstract

The purpose of Community Service Activities is to carry out one of the Tri Darma of Higher Education. In addition, it is expected that through community service, the existence of tertiary institutions can make a major contribution to the development and application of knowledge to the community. The method used in this Community Service is in the form of counseling and coaching that is a better action, process, result, or statement. In this case shows progress, increased growth, evolution of various possibilities, develops or an increase in something. The results of community service obtained are increased knowledge for students and students conducted in grade 3 of the Department of Computer and Network Engineering at SMK Muhammadiyah Jl. H. Mawi No. 292 Desa Bojong Indah, Kec. Parung, Kab. Bogor 16330 with 25 participants, so that they have a good view of how motivated they learn, how to prepare themselves for entering college and the world of work. The knowledge gained in Community Service this time is expected to be able to provide new enthusiasm for us in delivering material and motivation to save and know the growth of money and to contribute to the young generation, both in schools, colleges, communities and families.

Abstract

This community service aims to help open the paradigm of Mulia Buana Parung Panjang SMK teachers to want to explore in teaching and provide an understanding of the real conditions outside of the threat of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. which was then given material on developing the skills of SMK Mulia Buana's teachers in implementing creative and innovative teaching in accordance with the development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The problem faced by the Mulia Buana Parung Panjang Vocational School Teacher is the lack of ability of the Mulia Buana Parung Panjang Vocational School teacher in mastering technology and many teachers who have not been able to utilize ICT devices for teaching and learning. This certainly has an impact on the lack of enthusiasm for student learning. Through the training method in the form of providing material and practice, at the end of the activity a question and answer session was conducted as a form of evaluation, the teachers received training in soft skills and hard skills. The results after attending the training given by Pamulang University lecturers, the ability of Mulia Buana Parung Panjang Vocational School teachers to increase. It's just that it needs to be maintained regularly and improved the ICT support devices.

Abstract

One of the goals of Higher Education Tridharma besides Education and Research is Community Service (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat). This is regulated in Articles 20 and 24 of the Law. No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System which states that there is autonomy by Universities, Scientific Research and Community Service. In the implementation we want to develop Appropriate Technology Services (Pelayanan Teknologi Tepat Guna) so that the utilization of PTTG can be accepted by the community by providing guidance, training, mentoring that ultimately the results created are effective and can compete in industry 4.0. Therefore, the management of existing human resources of Posyantek employees is needed to improve competence so that the utilization of Appropriate Technology (TTG) can be understood properly and knowledge of competition in industry 4.0 can be answered effectively and efficiently. We hope that this community service will benefit us all, especially to the young generation of the nation's hopes.
