Abstract

This type of research used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). Research and development (R & D) is a research strategy or method that is quite effective in improving practice. The population in this study were all grade III students in MI Kutoanyar Kedu, Temanggung Regency, which amounted to 13 MI, but researchers only took samples from third grade students in MI Kutoanyar, amounting to 20 students. Development of learning media by proshow by running text on learning and understanding english language material by (a) Conducting preliminary research, (b) Conducting planning (defining abilities, formulating goals, determining material and sequence of learning, (c) Developing learning media with proshow , (d) Material expert test and media expert test, (e) Small-scale initial and revised field test, (f) Large-scale and final revision test, (g) application in learning. Based on the significance value of tcount = 5.709 with Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000. Before looking at the table of values of t, first must be with db = N - 2. Because the number of samples studied were 20 students, then db = 20-2 = 18. The value of db = 18 at a significance level of 5% obtained t-table = 1,345. Because tcount> ttable or 5.709> 1,345 and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded "there is an influence of the use of media proshow on learning outcomes in English subjects at MI Kutoanyar Kedu. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the need, form and effectiveness of the development of a bulletin-based gold bulletin proshow media on the specific characteristics of living things, which is carried out by (a) conducting preliminary research, (b) carrying out planning (defining abilities, formulating objectives, determining goals, determining learning materials and sequences, (c) Develop learning media with proshow gold, (d) Material expert test and media expert test, (e) Small-scale initial and revised field tests, (f) Large-scale and final revision tests, (g) application in learning. The subjeck in this study were all grade VI students in MI Kedu Subdistrict, Temanggung Regency, which amounted to 12 MI, but researchers only took samples from grade VI students in MI Kutoanyar, amounting to 42 students. The results and objectives of this study are the development of a proshow gold media based on pictorial bulletin The development of proshow gold media on the special characteristics of living things in MI Kutoanyar Kedu is effective. The significance value of tcount = 5.58 with Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000. Before looking at the table of values of t, first must be with db = N - 2. Because the number of samples studied were 40 students, then db = 40 - 2 = 38. The value of db = 38 at a significance level of 5% obtained t-table = 1,99045. Abstract

Theoretically, the type of leadership has a relationship with achieving goals. This article analyzes the leadership typology applied by the Headmaster of MTs.N 1 Makassar to improve the quality of education. Before analyzing it, the data were collected through triangulation of techniques and data sources. The same data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation guided by the relevant research instruments. In terms of data sources, triangulation is applied by integrating data sources from informants, documents, and empirical facts observed to obtain the same data. It aims to ensure that the data presented can be trusted for its validity and accuracy. The data collected was reduced, systematized, and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. After going through the series, the leadership type of the madrasah principle is summarized in three keywords, namely democratic, humanist, and collective types. The leadership typology is based on modern theories and the values of local wisdom sitinaja, sipakatau, and sipakalebbi'. Integration between modern management theory and local wisdom can touch the sense of humanity and togetherness of madrasa stakeholders. It can support establishing a positive influence environment for all madrasa stakeholders to realize quality madrasa education services jointly. Based on that, a headmaster of madrasa must have integral intellectual, managerial, and spiritual competence and understand the values of local wisdom that stakeholders uphold. The indicators for the achievement of quality improvement are assessed from several achievements and the satisfaction of various parties. Abstract

This study attempts to analyze style leadership influence on the performance of employees at the district ayamaru east maybrat district. The method of analysis the data used was the quantitative analysis. Testing significant through (t-test), using linear regression simple and coefficients determinansi (r2). The population of the research is all employees in Office district ayamaru eastern district maybrat. sample respondents were 48. The primary data was obtained through interviews, the questionnaire and study documentation. from the results of data processing simple linear regression analysis using the SPSS for windows version 25 program, the regression equation Y = 7.814 + 0.696X, the regression coefficient value of 0.696 means that every time there is a change and an addition of one percent in the Leadership Style variable, the Employee Performance variable will increase. of 0.696, if the Leadership Style variable is zero, then Employee Performance has a value of 7.814. In the coefficient of determination test, R square is 53.46%, meaning that leadership style has an effect on employee performance by 53.46%, while the remaining 46.4% is influenced by other factors not analyzed in this study, namely work culture. The results of the t-test, where t count 7.525 > t table 1.6787, it can be said that the Leadership Style variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has affected all sectors of life in Indonesia, including the education sector. Now, learning that was originally done online has turned into limited face-to-face learning. During the process of applying face-to-face learning, there are limited learning difficulties for students. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning difficulties with face-to-face learning (PTM) limited during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used descriptive qualitative with research subjects 30 students at MTsN 2 Medan. The results of this study showed that there were several difficulties faced by students in implementing limited online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at MTS Negeri 2 Medan, including aspects of Student Learning Motivation (78%) aspects of Student Activity (70%), Facilities Infrastructure (76.6%), Teacher (59.2%) and Student Barriers (62.8%). Even so, Online Learning is seen as the most effective learning compared to the online system carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. Hence, there needs to be cooperation from all parties, especially in developing teacher human resources in teaching so that Limited online learning can be carried out well, so students can learn well. Abstract

Newspapers as part of printed mass media is become one of the printed media that can help the students to comprehend the text easily. The objectives of this research were to know whether Printed Mass Media influence the students’ reading comprehension ability among the eleventh grade of MadrSasah Aliyah Nurul UlumPayungRejo Central Lampung. To collect the data the researcher used test, observation and documentation, to get the students’ score the researcher used written test in multiple choice form. In this research, the researcher used Quantitative research. It aimed to find out whether by using Printed Mass Media could influence the students’ reading comprehension ability. This research involved students with given pre-test, treatment and post-test. The researcher used T-test formula to analyze the data. Finally, the data indicated that Tobserved = 19,564 was higher than Ttable = 2,042 (5%), and 2,750 (1%). It means that Printed Mass Media can give positive and significant influence on the students’ reading comprehension ability among the eleventh grade of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul UlumPayungRejo Central Lampung. Abstract

This study aims to describe how language politeness management in the student WAG application responds to messages delivered by lecturers and messages delivered by classmates carried out on communication science students in the odd semester of 2021/2022 guided by the principle of language politeness, namely the principle of politeness and the principle of politeness management. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection through observation of activities in the WhatsApp Group (WAG) and messages contained in the WAG, interviews conducted with students are open, and documentation in the form of achievements in the WAG. The data collected carried out data analyzed through the stages of qualitative data analysis and the validity of the data was carried out through triangulation. The results showed that: 1) students prioritize the principles and rules of language politeness in responding to messages conveyed by lecturers rather than messages delivered by classmates, and 2) language politeness management is more applied to messages sent to lecturers than classmates are.

Abstract

Learning is enhanced when it accours within a positive condition where the students fell exitement about what they are learning. Students are the center of learning process. They are forced to be active in reading, doing tasks, and in answering teacher’s question. The article aimed to discuss the characteristics of joyful learning, students’ motivation and the influence of joyful learning in building students’ motivation in studying English. The researchers used library research. For this reason, the researchers have proven it through analytical efforts and in-depth studies in several international publications. In short, the researchers examined each piece of evidence with a phenomenological approach to get answers to research questions that are among other things, involve a data coding system, critical evaluation, and drawing of valid and reliable final results . The result show that teachers can identify the characteristic of their students, so they can choose the kind of the appropriate educative games they can give. So although they come from different background, the students still have a high motivation in studying English. Abstract

The purpose of the article was to create an online learning application-based android at SMK Bahrul Maghfirah as a learning media due to a covid-19 pandemic. Data collection methods consisted of observation, interviews, and literature study. While the application development method used the waterfall method, which was the method used to develop software. The waterfall method in this study consists of needs analysis, design, design implementation using a programming language that can be translated by a computer, application testing using the black box method, and application maintenance. Based on the test results, it was known that the android-based e-learning application can run according to its function, hence it was expected to be applied as an online learning media at SMK Bahrul Magfirah. Abstract

This study analyzed the managerial competence of the principal in planning, implementing, monitoring, and the obstacles to improving the quality of education at SMK Negeri Samarinda. It was qualitative approach with case study method. The results showed that (1) the principal managerial competence in planning for improving the quality of education was the ability to prepare annual budget work plans and implementation of school work programs, the ability to collaborate, create a good and innovative climate and culture, human resource activities, student learning outcomes. and the use of technology, especially in the fields of curriculum, student affairs, staffing, educational facilities, school administration, finance, and community relations, (2) implementation of principal managerial competence in accordance with quality improvement planning was that the principal conducts school organizing, resource empowerment, school management, empowering teachers and staff, facilities and infrastructure, students, curriculum, school finance, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, (3) managerial competence of school principals in carrying out supervision of improving the quality of education was carried out properly through monitoring activities and evaluation every semester, carried out together with the school's internal quality assurance team and involving staff, teachers, and education personnel, (4) obstacles faced by school principals in planning for improving the quality of education are financial limitations, discipline, and infrastructure.
