Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-Book for accounting practicum and evaluate user responses to its implementation. A needs analysis revealed that 48 out of 51 students lacked access to learning resources and required instructional media, correlating with their suboptimal learning outcomes. The research utilizes a Research and Development (R&D) approach, specifically employing the 4D model. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Questionnaire was administered to gauge user feedback. The participants included 51 eleventh-grade students from SMKS Filadelfia Pemangkat. Data analysis involved both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods to address the research questions regarding the E-Book's design, user feedback, and any significant disparities in responses based on socio-economic status. The E-Book, developed using Canva and edited with Heyzine, comprises 2 chapters, 4 videos, 2 Excel files, and 2 online quizzes. User responses from small and large group trials were overwhelmingly positive, categorized as "Strongly Agree." Further analysis indicated that students from higher socio-economic backgrounds had a higher median score (3.95) compared to those from moderate (3.50) and underprivileged backgrounds (3.00). These findings suggest significant differences in user responses based on socio-economic status.

Abstract

Technology has become an integral part of daily life, including the field of education, where it provides broad access to information and resources. This study aims to examine the implementation of technology-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which is equivalent to Islamic Education, at SMAN 1 Bojonegoro. Utilizing a qualitative method with descriptive analysis, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to ensure the validity of the information. The research subjects included PAI teachers and selected students from SMAN 1 Bojonegoro. The findings show that the implementation of technology-based PAI learning, using platforms such as Quizizz, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Classroom, has proven to be effective. Students demonstrated more active and engaging interaction, which in turn enhanced their understanding of PAI materials. These findings indicate that integrating technology into PAI learning can provide significant benefits to the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

A positive public image can enhance trust and interest in educational institutions. This study aims to examine: (1) the concept of public relations management, (2) the concept of institutional image, and (3) the implementation of public relations programs in building the institution's image. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving the principal, vice principal of public relations, students, alumni, and the community. Data were collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed through data condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the findings was verified through source and method triangulation. Results indicate that public relations management is conducted through several stages: (1) Planning is done at the beginning of the school year, aligning with the institution's vision, mission, and objectives; (2) Organizing involves collaboration across different departments; (3) Implementation adheres to principles of integration, sustainability, and honesty; and (4) Evaluation is routinely carried out by the internal public relations team. Furthermore, the public relations team works to build the institution's image by fostering trust and good relationships with local pesantren, providing optimal services to parents, and establishing institutional identity through flagship programs like "Sapa Tetangga" and "Bakti Bahrul Ulum." These programs not only enhance student engagement and talent development but also contribute to the positive image of Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan K.H. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah. Public relations play a crucial role in effectively communicating these initiatives to the public through various media platforms, both digital and traditional.

Abstract

The diversity of Indonesian society is reflected in the variety of ethnicities, religions, races, and social groups spread across the archipelago. Religious moderation is recognized as a key approach to addressing issues of radicalism and extremism. This study aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the process of incorporating religious moderation values into the curriculum for students in the Islamic Education Management Department at IAIN Kerinci, Jambi Province. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was ensured through internal validity measures, including data triangulation, member checking, repeated observations at the research site, peer debriefing, involvement of informants in various stages of the research, and researcher bias clarification. The results reveal that the teaching style of lecturers at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) of IAIN Kerinci plays a crucial role in shaping students to become moderate, tolerant, and peace-loving individuals. Lecturers employ interactive and participatory teaching approaches, integrating religious moderation values into the curriculum using various instructional methods. Factors contributing to the internalization of these values among students include participation in extracurricular activities and campus organizations that promote interfaith dialogue, as well as involvement in social service activities with communities of different religious backgrounds.

Abstract

The management of the Qur'an memorization program at Rumah Tahfizh Al-Furqon, Mugomulyo, Sungai Batang Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau, plays a crucial role in enhancing the competitive advantage of its students. This study aims to analyze the management strategies implemented and their impact on the quality of memorization and character development of the students. Using field research with a phenomenological approach, this study involved Qur'an memorization teachers and students as respondents. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the program not only improves the students' memorization skills but also plays a key role in fostering discipline, responsibility, and leadership among them. Rumah Tahfizh Al-Furqon significantly contributes to shaping a generation that is both competitive and of high moral character within society, while also strengthening the institution's role in Islamic education. This research can serve as a reference for other Qur'an memorization institutions in developing similar programs.

Abstract

of the Merdeka curriculum, aimed at cultivating students in Indonesia to embody and practice the core values of Pancasila in their everyday lives as citizens. This study aims to analyze the project management involved in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile at State Junior High School 19 Ambon. The research adopts a qualitative approach, employing data collection methods such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. The respondents include the principal, vice principal for curriculum, project supervisor, project leader, project treasurer, three students, and two parents of Grade 8 students. Data were analyzed using stages of data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this research highlight the necessity of effective project management in ensuring that the Pancasila Student Profile program is executed in accordance with regulations and contributes to meaningful changes within the school. The study recommends that the principal maintain strong communication with the project supervisor prior to implementing the plan and foster a commitment to enhancing teachers' competencies in delivering the Pancasila Student Profile program. This will ensure better outcomes for students at State Junior High School 19 Ambon.

Abstract

Learning models play a critical role in the educational process. They are systematically designed as a guide for conducting learning activities to achieve educational objectives. Each learning model includes specific syntax that can be implemented by students under teacher guidance. This study aims to analyze the syntax of learning models based on the learning activities presented in the textbook published by Erlangga, titled Waskitha Basa lan Sastra Jawa for Grade X Senior and Islamic High Schools. The study employs a descriptive qualitative research method with observation and interactive analysis. The research instrument consists of data cards. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of the study reveal that the Waskitha Basa lan Sastra Jawa textbook for Grade X, which consists of six chapters, includes four chapters (Chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4) that apply the Project-Based Learning model. However, two chapters (Chapters 5 and 6) were found not to implement any discernible learning model. This research provides valuable insights for textbook authors to ensure the completeness of the learning model syntax applied in textbooks. Consequently, the learning process facilitated by the textbook can be optimized and aligned with the intended learning model syntax to effectively achieve educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' interest in writing and participation in learning activities related to direct and indirect sentence materials by utilizing the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) model supported by Pakalating media. The research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted over two cycles, with each cycle comprising two sessions. The study was carried out in the fifth-grade class of SDN 2 Mayonglor. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using a combination of quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students' interest in writing. The questionnaire results indicate that the average percentage of students' interest in writing increased from 35.9% in the first cycle to 81.5% in the second cycle. Similarly, observations of student learning activities show an increase from an average of 68% in the first cycle to 92.2% in the second cycle. These results highlight the effectiveness of the STAD model combined with Pakalating media in fostering enthusiasm, motivating students, and significantly enhancing their interest in writing.

Abstract

This study investigates lecturers’ understanding of the concept and approaches to integrating general and religious sciences within the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education program. The integration of science and religion is a critical aspect of the curriculum, as the program aims to prepare future educators capable of teaching scientific concepts imbued with religious values in a holistic manner, thereby eliminating the dichotomy between science and religion. This research employs a descriptive case study design with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews, and analyzed using content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques. The findings reveal that lecturers' understanding of the integration of general and religious sciences can be categorized into two perspectives: (1) pragmatic understanding and (2) normative understanding. Furthermore, three distinct pedagogical approaches are employed to integrate these domains: (1) the equality approach, (2) the parallelization approach, and (3) the complementary approach. These findings provide valuable insights and serve as a foundation for policy development in Islamic higher education institutions, emphasizing their unique identity and contribution to education.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the coaching method in enhancing the competencies and performance of students in the Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) Study Program at STAIN Bengkalis. Coaching is a structured, personalized approach aimed at developing students' potential in both academic and non-academic aspects. A qualitative descriptive method was used, collecting data through interviews, observations, and document studies to explore students' experiences with the coaching process. The findings indicate that coaching positively impacts students' leadership, time management, problem-solving skills, as well as academic performance, communication, and self-confidence. Students reported greater clarity in setting goals and increased motivation. Key success factors include active student engagement, guidance from academic supervisors, and a supportive learning environment. However, challenges such as time constraints and initial confusion about the coaching process were identified. This study concludes that coaching can significantly enhance students' competencies and performance, with proper implementation in a supportive environment. It recommends the broader adoption of coaching in the PIAUD program, tailored to local contexts and needs.
