Abstract

This study aims to obtain evidence about the influence of learning motivation and the Tri Juang Teachings on academic fraud behavior in Tamansiswa University Bachelor's students of accounting department. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method and primary data collected using a questionnaire. This study used a sample of active students at accounting department in the Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University of Yogyakarta (UST). The sampling technique uses the Slovin formula. The data collection method uses a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form. The number of questionnaires processed was 100. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20. The results showed that learning motivation had no effect on academic cheating behavior, and the tri-juang teachings had a negative effect on academic cheating behavior. Research can then expand this research by adding several other variables that can influence it, such as self-control, moral competence, and religiosity. This study is important to study because it has renewal, namely that it adds the variables of learning motivation and Tri Juang teachings to academic cheating behavior, two of which are variables that are still limited to study and research, so researchers are interested in studying this topic.

Abstract

This research examines the role of social media in increasing legal awareness among the younger generation in Indonesia. As of January 2023, Indonesia had approximately 167 million social media users out of a total population of 276.4 million, highlighting a significant opportunity to enhance legal education. Despite this potential, the use of social media for raising legal awareness is minimal, reflected in high crime rates and low legal compliance. This study explores the urgency of legal education for the younger generation and the role social media can play in this effort. Using a literature review method, the research references relevant and reliable sources such as laws, books, journal articles, and official data. The meta-synthesis technique is applied to synthesize data from previous studies and draw conclusions. The findings indicate that legal education is crucial for improving legal awareness and compliance among the younger generation. Social media can significantly contribute by making legal information more engaging and accessible. The study recommends that the government utilize social media's potential in legal education by collaborating with private digital sectors and influencers to disseminate positive legal messages and raise awareness effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain proof and analysis of the impact of organizational culture, competence and work motivation on teacher performance at AL Mubaarok Rembang Vocational School. The sampling technique applied was a saturated sample of 38 permanent teachers. The type of research is quantitative with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Research findings show that organizational culture and work motivation have a significant positive impact on teacher performance. On the other hand, competence has an insignificant positive impact on teacher performance. Based on the determination test, the resulting Adjusted R Square value is 0.626, which means that the variables of organizational culture, competency and work motivation can explain teacher performance by 62.6%, while the remaining 37.4% of teacher performance is explained by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

Student Islamic boarding schools are unique and distinctive educational institutions, both in terms of subject (mahasantri) and objects (curriculum and activities). With modernization, the IDIA Prenduan ma'hadi Islamic boarding school provides an adaptive response to adopting a modern education system. This is done by trying to maximize management and curriculum management to produce students who not only have academic knowledge but also instill character values. This research aims to examine the characteristics of the Ma'hadi curriculum and its implications for student character formation. This type of research, field research, in principle relies more on descriptive aspects of data obtained from the field. The results of this research show that the Ma'hadi Islamic boarding school has an educational program that is prepared by itself, where this program contains an educational process that lasts throughout the day in one condition in the dormitory. While IDIA Prenduan uses modern learning methods (tajdid), Ma'hadi Islamic Boarding School has updated its education system with a modern education model where the entire education system starting from teaching techniques, lesson materials, facilities and infrastructure are designed based on the modern education system.

Abstract

An undeniable fact that still often occurs in Indonesia is friction between religions in the community. The root of the problem is because people do not understand the concept of Multicultural, so it is important for Religious Learning to include this value in the curriculum. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the philosophical basis in multicultural education and its relevance to Islamic Religious Education, as well as its application in educational institutions today. The type of research applied in this article is a literature study with descriptive qualitative methods. The conclusion of this research is that the philosophical basis used in multicultural education is not timeless with the concept of Indonesian statehood, multicultural education is a concept that is very relevant to religious values, in its application it has been implemented through the concept of the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

The implementation of the problem based learning (PBL) model in online learning or what is abbreviated as e-PBL is an alternative model that can be used during learning to improve and maintain the quality of online learning. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the ethnoecological integrated Online Problem Based Learning (e-PBL) learning model to increase the environmental literacy of biology education students. The method used is Quasi-Experimental Design using Non-equivalent. The research subjects were students of the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau Islamic University. Data analysis was carried out using the MSELS (Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey) questionnaire which was adapted based on the scientific integration applied. The research results show that the independent sample t test value has a Sig value. (2-tailed) <0.05 between experimental and control classes. In conclusion, the ethnoecological integrated e-PBL learning model influences the environmental literacy abilities of biology education students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Total Quality Management (TQM) strategy for improving the quality of education in the Arabic Language Education Master's Study Program at Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB). This research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that KUPU SB implements TQM by involving all parties, both internal and external, in improving the quality of education. TQM at KUPU SB includes aspects of vision and mission, information, human resources, facilities, competence, and loyalty. The implementation of TQM at KUPU SB has had a positive impact on the university, personnel, and graduates. Universities can compete at a global level, personnel can improve their welfare, and graduates can meet labor market needs. This study is novelty in the field of education quality regarding how KUPU provides facilities and support for activities to develop student potential.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively mathematically is the basis for students solving mathematical problems. Based on initial observations made on students at SDN Duri Kepa 05 Pagi Jakarta, it was revealed that working on mathematics problems was a problem, therefore a creative learning model was needed to train students' creative thinking abilities. Thus, the ability to think creatively mathematically can be used as an alternative solution to educational problems. This research aims to analyze the mathematical creative thinking abilities of fifth grade students through character education for students in elementary schools. The type of research used is comparative causal research, also called ex-post facto research with a quantitative approach. The respondents in this study were 32 class V students. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive and inferential statistics in the form of simple linear regression analysis. Based on the research results, it shows that student character education can significantly improve their mathematical creative thinking abilities. Students' mathematical creative thinking abilities are influenced by students' character education by 68.7%. Meanwhile, 31.3% was influenced by other factors outside of students' character education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify historical places in Metro city as learning for students in developing intellectual character, increasing students' awareness of local history, integrating local history in history subjects, and using local resources as learning resources. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research in which it is a method of collecting new data and information. Data were obtained by collecting various literature sources such as books, journals, interviews, and online research articles that are in accordance with the research problem. The results show that learning facilities are very helpful in teaching and learning activities, such as nature reserve buildings. The nature reserve building is a built structure which is composed of natural and man-made objects. So that later it can meet the needs of both walled and non-walled and roofed rooms. And students will know more about the history of cultural heritage and be able to practice it in everyday life.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren, as religious education institutions, play an important role in promoting a moderate understanding of religion in Indonesia. Despite widespread support for religious moderation by various stakeholders, there is growing concern about the religious practices of the population. This is evidenced by the presence of extremist movements and acts of terrorism in Indonesia, such as the terrorist attack on the Cathedral Church in Makassar on March 28, 2021. The attack was carried out by the Jamaah Ansharut Daula network, commonly known as JAD. The research will utilize a qualitative approach, using a phenomenological study design. The researcher examines the data, converting interview recordings into written text through transcription. The results of existing data will then be subject to qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show, steps that can be taken in strengthening religious moderation and the profile of Pancasila by maintaining religious diversity, strengthening inter-religious relations, offering a thorough religious education that is reasonable and balanced, promoting tolerance, engaging in efforts to increase tolerance, and promoting unity between religions.
