As-Sabiqun Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and articles on Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences. This journal was published by Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), March and October with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic Studies and Educational Sciences topics are particularly welcome to be submitted. The journal encompasses research articles, original research report, and scientific reviews in education in any fields including: 1. Early Childhood Education Theory; 2. Early Childhood Education Learning Practice; 3. Early Childhood Development includes Religious and Moral, Cognitive, Language, Social-Emotional, Physical-Motoric, and Art Values; 4. PAUD Policy; 5. Parenting; 6. Teacher Education and Training; 7. Learning Strategy. Editorial Team invites academics, lecturers and researchers to contribute according to the scope above. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether strengthening PPKn competencies can shape the character of students at SMAS GKPI Padang Bulan Medan. The character theory used as a reference is according to expert Thomas Licona who divides character education into 3 aspects, namely; knowledge (Moral Knowledge), emotions (Moral Feeling), and actions (Moral Action). This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research implementation time is approximately one month, namely April 17 to May 18 2024. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. The data collection instruments used in this research were Likert Scale questionnaires and open questionnaires. The research subjects were determined based on samples selected using purposive sampling techniques, namely class X-3 students and 3 PPKn teachers. The type of data in this research uses primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is simple descriptive statistics, namely table analysis and percentages P= F/N x 100%, with categories 0-69% (Low), 70-89% (Medium), 90-100% (High) calculated based on the provisions of the Likert Scale score. The research results show that the character of the students there is categorized as "Medium" because the average score is above 70%. And this has an impact because of the strengthening of PPKn competencies carried out by teachers, namely with the methods, approaches and attitudes shown during teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the Learning Start with a Question method on effective sentences in class IV SDN Widorokandang. This quantitative research was conducted using experimental method. This research was designed using One-group Pretest Posttest quantitative design. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The samples in this study were fourth grade students of SDN Widorokandang consisting of 14 students, consisting of 9 boys and 5 girls. Data were collected through pre-research observations, pre-research teacher and student interviews, pretest and posttest questions to measure students' writing skills and research documentation.This study used the Paired Sample T-Test test to determine whether there was an influence before and after being given treatment using the Learning Start with a Question method. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test analysis show that the significance level with sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 means that there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest. It can be concluded that students are able to show effective sentences, complete words, complete punctuation, compose words and write stories well after the application of the Learning Start with a Question learning method on effective sentence material for grade IV students of SDN Widorokandang.

Abstract

Islamic educational applications are one of the innovations that can make the teaching and learning process easier. Technological advancements, many educational institutions have begun to utilize Islamic educational applications as additional learning media. This app is designed to introduce the basic concepts of Islam through a fun and easy-to-understand method for children. However, although these applications promise benefits in increasing children's religious knowledge, there are a number of issues that need to be considered. This study aims to examine the influence of Islamic educational applications in the digital era on early childhood religious knowledge, especially in Integrated Islamic Kindergarten in Serang City, Banten. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental design and data analysis using Smart PLS 3. The research population is early childhood in Integrated Islamic Kindergarten in Serang City, Banten. The results of this study show that Islamic educational applications in the digital era have a significant influence on the improvement of early childhood religious knowledge, especially in Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, Serang City, Banten. The use of this application not only enriches the religious learning process in a more interactive and interesting way, but also shows the effectiveness of technology in supporting religious education among children. This research also highlights the importance of the role of parents in accompanying children during the use of the application, as well as the need for quality application development both in terms of content and technology

Abstract

This reiseiarch useis R&D (Reiseiarch and Deiveilopmeint) reiseiarch, with thei ADDIEI (Analysis, Deisign, Deiveilopmeint, Impleimeintation, EIvaluation) deiveilopmeint modeil. This reiseiarch was conducteid at SDN 432 Talumaei with thei reiseiarch class IV studeints. Data colleiction teichniqueis in this reiseiarch arei inteirvieiws, queistionnaireis. Thei data analysis teichniqueis useid arei qualitativei deiscriptivei analysis and quantitativei deiscriptivei analysis. Thei reisults of this reiseiarch show that articulatei storylinei-baseid leiarning meidia was deiclareid feiasiblei baseid on asseissmeints by validators with a peirceintagei of 95% by meidia eixpeirts, 96.67% by mateirial eixpeirts, 92.5% by languagei eixpeirts, 100% by leiarning eixpeirts, and it was stateid worthy of studeint reisponseis with a peirceintagei gain of 83% so that leiarning meidia can bei useid in thei leiarning proceiss.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine OSIM activities, the time and process of implementing OSIM activities, and social awareness of student character with OSIM activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study as the type of research. The location of this study is at Madrasah Diniyah Darul Lughah Wal Karomah, Sidomukti Village, Probolinggo District. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. While the data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that there were several activities initiated by OSIM including the Election of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of OSIM, LPJ evaluation, comparative studies, and class meetings. The implementation of several activities is the Election of the Chairman and Vice Chairman of OSIM is usually held a week before the previous OSIM term ends, the evaluation of the LPJ (Accountability Report) is carried out every month and the annual report is transparently in front of the female teachers and all students which is held 1 week after the election of the new OSIM chairman, comparative studies are carried out at the beginning of the new OSIM management period every year, and class meetings are held after the final exams of the madrasah. There are several forms of social awareness with the OSIM activities, namely Leadership Training, Organizational Skills, Communication Skills, Decision Making Skills, More Confident, Experience Working on Projects, Learning to Build Networks, and Positive Contributions to Schools.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of religious moderation as a preventive measure for the formation of radicalism among students. The students' heterogeneous religious backgrounds and school programs that are oriented towards high tolerance practices make researchers interested in studying the implementation of religious moderation-based learning programs at SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo City. This research is Field Research, namely qualitative research with analytical descriptive characteristics. The presentation of data in this research is formatted in narrative form with data collection using observation, interview, documentation and analysis of natural documents for each discussion. The research informants consisted of the Principal, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, Teachers and Students. The research results show that SMAN 4 Probolinggo has implemented the practice of tolerance values ​​which are manifested in the learning process and extracurricular activities. The School Bullying Agent Program (APS) is an important alternative in preventing and resolving problems regarding bullying and religious violence. SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo City plays an active role in the activities of the Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) which is designed to strengthen tolerance and harmony between religious communities in the school environment. The school curriculum is designed to achieve the target of graduates who have a more inclusive and open understanding in preventing the formation of radicalism and strengthening moderate attitudes among students.

Abstract

Local wisdom that develops in indigenous peoples is a form of culture that is still sustainable and has noble values that can enrich students' understanding of civic education. However, in the context of formal education, the integration of local wisdom with the national curriculum still faces various challenges. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of indigenous peoples' local wisdom values on elementary school students' understanding of civic education. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to analyze the influence of indigenous peoples' local wisdom values on elementary school students' understanding of civic education. The results of this study state that local wisdom values, such as mutual cooperation, deliberation, and respect for nature, have a significant influence on elementary school students' understanding of civic education. Deliberation showed the strongest influence, followed by mutual cooperation and respect for nature, all of which contributed positively to improving students' understanding of the concept of citizenship. In addition, an R-square value of 0.65 indicates that local wisdom is able to explain most of the variations in students' understanding, which emphasizes the importance of integrating local values in the learning process. This research also highlights the need for the active role of teachers and communities in connecting formal materials with students' socio-cultural contexts, as well as opening up opportunities for the development of a more inclusive and culturally relevant curriculum.

Abstract

This research is based on the existence of a language development program which we often know as FLDP (Foreign Language Development Program), which is one of the programs offered and presented by the Madura State Islamic Religious Institute campus to prepare students for the future. This research aims to measure the influence of IAIN Madura's FLDP (Foreign Language Development Program). This type of research is quantitative. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation and documentation. In the aspect of developing speaking skills, it is very necessary, especially for foreign speakers, so IAIN Madura presents FLD (Foreign Language Development Program) so that IAIN Madura students are not only able to think but are also able to speak Arabic.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a design, test the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of Canva-based Interactive Picture learning media. effectiveness of Canva-based Interactive Picture learning media material on the diversity of my Indonesian culture in class V SDN 02 Sekaran. This research method with the Borg and Gall development model. Borg and Gall development model. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SDN 02 Sekaran. The data collection techniques applied included observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. Product quality was evaluated by media, material, and teacher and student validators. Product effectiveness was analyzed using preliminary data analysis techniques through normality test and homogeneity test, as well as final data analysis through paired t-test and N-gain test. Research results showed that the Canva-based Interactive Picture media design material diversity of Indonesian culture in my Canva-based Interactive Picture class. class was successfully developed. The results of the large group T-test calculation amounted to 8.6059 where t table 1.6972 is said to be effective, it can be concluded that H1 is rejected and H2 is accepted. and H2 is accepted. N-Gain in the large group trial obtained a score of 0.6494 with moderate criteria. with moderate criteria. The conclusion in this study is that the learning media Canva-based Interactive Picture learning media on cultural diversity Indonesiaku class V SDN 02 Sekaran was successfully developed, feasible to use as a learning media and effective to improve student learning outcomes. as a learning media and effective for improving student learning outcomes at SDN 02 Sekaran.

Abstract

This study focuses on ethnomathematics in the Sambas Malay ethnic Saprahan tradition which aims to answer three questions: (1) Describe the mathematical fundamental activities in the Sambas Malay ethnic saprahan tradition, (2) Tools used in the Sambas Malay ethnic saprahan tradition related to mathematical concepts, (3) Describe the integration of ethnomathematics in the Sambas Malay ethnic saprahan tradition in elementary school mathematics learning. The method used is a qualitative research method in the form of ethnography. Researchers as the main instrument that plays a role in collecting data through interviews, observations and documentation. The data validity technique uses source triangulation and triangulation techniques. The results of this study show that there is ethnomathematics in the Saprahan tradition of the Sambas Malay ethnicity. In counting activities there is the concept of counting operations, measuring activities (measuring) there is the concept of measuring and flat building, locating activities there are the concepts of addition and flat building and inactivity, designing activities there are the concepts of counting and flat building operations, and explaining activities there are the concepts of counting and flat building operations. The concepts of elementary school mathematics in the tradition of Saprahan Malay Sambas can be developed by designing a suitable learning tool such as evaluation questions so as to provide new innovations in mathematics learning in schools.
