Fokus publishes original research or theoretical papers about teaching and learning in Guidance and Counseling study program of IKIP Siliwangi Bandung on current science issues, namely: Guidance and Counseling educator in elementary, secondary and high school level. Guidance and Counseling observers and researchers. Educational decisions maker on regional and national level. We recommend classroom action research, qualitative, descriptive, or quantitative. We may process manuscript of didactic development research (DDR) or research and development (RnD). Our publication could be research on teaching method, an experiment of teaching aid or media, and even effectiveness of lesson study. We accepted any manuscript derived from research of Guidance and Counseling in Indonesia. We will not process manuscript from research approach of school management.

Abstract

Classical guidance is a guidance and counseling service that has the aim of launching service activities that develop students' potential to achieve educational goals. One of the techniques that can be used in the implementation of classical guidance services is the symbolic modeling technique. The symbolic modeling technique is a technique that is carried out by showing a video or film in which a character who has behavior or activity can be imitated by an individual who sees it. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation, the responses of BK students and teachers, as well as the obstacles experienced by BK students and teachers in the implementation of online-based classical guidance services through modeling techniques for career maturity of class IX students. The approach taken is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection technique used is the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the modeling technique used in this classical guidance service can assist students in planning their further education after graduating from junior high school.Keywords: Career maturity, Junior high school students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of group guidance services through self-This article aims to determine the implementation of group guidance services through self-management techniques on student discipline at MTs Uswatun Hasanah Padalarang. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, the subjects in this study were 4 students of class VII at Mts Uswatun Hasanah, this research instrument used observation, interviews and documentation guidelines and used data triangulation, namely data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained indicate that group guidance services through self-management techniques on student discipline have proven effective. Student responses to group guidance services through self-management techniques on student discipline carried out by researchers are giving positive responses, which means students are interested and happy to carry out group guidance services with BK teachers and researchers.Keywords:group guidance, self-management, discipline

Abstract

Discipline is an attitude of obedience and obedience to the rules or regulations that apply with full responsibility without any coercion from anyone. This study aims to determine the description of student discipline at MTs Negeri 4 Bogor. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the low discipline of students against the rules at school was caused by a lack of awareness of discipline, not being able to control their own will, managing themselves and a lack of attention from parents to motivate and remind them to be orderly, so they do whatever they want.

Abstract

This study aims to describe group guidance services through the Reinforcement technique for students who have low self-confidence at Mts Darussalam. The research design used is descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects in the study were 4 students of class VIII at MTs Darussalam. Information assortment methods used are interviews, documentation and observation. The data analysis used is data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing of data. The results of the research obtained from the research are group guidance services through the Reinforcement technique carried out to students who are indicated to have low self-confidence, student responses are very good to group guidance services through reinforcement technique. Obstacles faced by BK teachers when implementing services are inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Students experienced an increase in self-confidence after being given the Reinforcement technique group guidance service. Based on these results, group guidance services using the Reinforcement technique can be used as a reference for future researchers who will conduct research on the level of student confidence.Keywords:Self Confidence, Group Guidance Service, Reinforcement

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat gambaran kepercayaan diri siswa di SMK Kimia Dharma Bhakti, Kepercayaan diri menjadi faktor penting dalam perkembangan siswa di sekolah dalam penelitian ini menggunakan aspek kepercayaan diri yaitu optimis, objektif, bertanggung jawab, rasional dan realistis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriftif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X,XI dan XI di SMK Kimia Dharma Bhakti sebanyak 99 orang. Adapun prosedur dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kepercayaan diri sebanyak 40 butir pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan kepercayaan diri siswa di SMK Kimia Dharma Bhakti berda pada kategori Sedang yaitu sebanyak 75 orang siswa dengan persentase 76% dan berdasarkan kategori aspek kepercayaan diri yang lebih dominan terdapat dalam aspek rasional yaitu 71 orang dengan persentase 72%.

Abstract

Abstract                                                                                                                                    This study aims to determine the implementation of the application of group guidance through Cinema Therapy techniques to interest in learning. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. With research subjects 5 students of class XI at SMKN 2 Cimahi. Instruments used in the use of data are questionnaires, interviews and observations. Based on the results of research on the application of group guidance through the Cinematherapy technique to students' interest in learning, it was found that the average percentage value of the happy feeling indicator was 69.14%, the attention indicator was 68.40%, the interest indicator was 68.36%, the student involvement indicator was 71.2%. , and the average value of each indicator obtained a percentage of 69.28% which is included in the high category. So it can be concluded that the application of group guidance through the Cinematherapy technique is effective for students who experience low interest in learning.Keywords:  interest in learning, group guidance, Cinematherapy AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dari penerapan bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik Cinema Therapy terhadap minat belajar. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan kelompok melalui teknik Cinema Therapy efektif terhadap siswa yang mengalami minat belajar yang rendah.Kata Kunci: minat belajar, bimbingan kelompok, Cinematherapy

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the description of students who have social media addiction during the Covid-19 period at SMKN 1 Pacet, Cianjur Regency. This research was taken based on phenomena that occur in schools. According to Young, internet/social media addiction is defined as a person's inability to control himself in using the internet, resulting in a few problems that interfere with the performance of his brain. Students who have a fairly high social media addiction during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used in this research is to use interviews and observations that will produce data for this research. The sampling technique in this study used the purpouse sampling technique. The sample used was 10 students who had social media addiction during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of this study are from the sample taken there are 5 students who have a high addiction to social media. This can be seen from the attitude of students who feel they cannot control themselves in accessing social media in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, this is due to the factors that influence students so that excessive social media addiction occurs. These factors are influenced by both internal and external factors.Keywords:Addiction, Social Media, Covid-19.

Abstract

This study is based on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on implementation of Guidance and Counseling services in schools. Group guidance services given to students who have low learning interest problems. To assist online group guidance services, group discussion techniques are needed. This study used a qualitative research method. The data collection used was observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were amount 5 students who had problems with low interest in learning. As a results obtained after providing online group guidance service using the group discussion technique there are changes in students. Based on research that online group tutoring services through group discussion techniques are effective in increasing the learning interest of class VII students of SMPN 2 Purwakarta. Keywords:Interest in Learning, Techniques of Group Discussions, Group counseling online

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the offer of online group counseling on the self-esteem of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Gununghalu. The design of this study used descriptive qualitative research methids. The subjects of this study were six students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Gununghalu. This survey tool uses observation guides, interview guides, surveys, and documentation. Data analysis technigues used are data reduction, dan display, and data inference. The results obtained from the survey are changes in students’ self-confidence after beibg given online group counseling services through modeling technology. One of the obstacles faced by BK teachers when implementing online group counseling services through modeling technology is the difficulty connectivity and networks. The results showed that online group counseling services can help bulid self-confidence through self-confidence modeling techniques of students.Keywords:   Group Guidance, Modeling Techniques, self-Confidence
