Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of auditor ethics, competence, and emotional intelligence on audit quality at Public Accounting Firms (KAP) in Central Jakarta and East Jakarta. A descriptive-causal quantitative approach was employed using primary data collected via questionnaires distributed to 80 auditors across 16 selected KAPs using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis via SPSS 26. The results demonstrate that auditor ethics (t = 2.541, p = 0.013), auditor competence (t = 2.812, p = 0.006), and auditor emotional intelligence (t = 2.389, p = 0.019) have positive and statistically significant partial effects on audit quality. Simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly impact audit quality (F = 18.245, p < 0.001) with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.395. This indicates that 39.5% of audit quality variation can be explained by auditor ethics, competence, and emotional intelligence, while the remaining 60.5% is influenced by other factors outside the model. The implications highlight the necessity of strengthening ethical standards, continuous technical training, and emotional regulation for auditors to yield reliable audit opinions.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) among fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Tanetea, Bantaeng Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 40 students, with 20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class. Learning outcome data were collected using multiple-choice tests and analyzed through descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, paired-samples t-tests, and an independent-samples t-test. The experimental class mean score increased from 68.50 on the pretest to 89.65 on the posttest, while the control class mean increased from 67.50 to 74.75. The independent-samples t-test showed t = 13.538, df = 38, and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, with a mean difference of 14.900. Thus, the null hypothesis was rejected. The findings indicate that audio-visual media had a significant effect on fifth-grade students’ IPAS learning outcomes and can be used as an alternative instructional medium to support more concrete and engaging learning.

Abstract

Abstract

Digital transformation in immigration services does not depend solely on the availability of digital applications, but also on the ability of government institutions to communicate innovations clearly, credibly, interactively, and according to the characteristics of the target community. This study aims to formulate a public communication strategy for the “CURUP” service concept, an abbreviation of “Cukup di Rumah Urus Paspor”, which combines the convenience of digital passport administration through M-Paspor with the availability of passport services at the Rejang Lebong Public Service Mall (MPP). The study uses a qualitative systematic literature review and contextual document analysis. The literature corpus is derived from studies on government communication, digital public service innovation, M-Paspor, passport services, and digital literacy, supplemented by official information concerning passport services in Rejang Lebong. The analysis applies David K. Berlo’s Source-Message-Channel-Receiver (SMCR) framework. The findings indicate four strategic requirements. First, the source must be official, credible, coordinated, and responsive. Second, the message must be simple, operational, consistent, and transparent about which stages can be completed from home and which still require physical attendance. Third, communication channels should be integrated across social media, official websites, WhatsApp, M-Paspor, MPP, and local-government networks. Fourth, receivers must be segmented according to digital literacy, access, age, and experience. The study concludes that CURUP should be developed as a communication strategy that connects digital convenience with geographical proximity and user assistance. Public communication is therefore not merely a promotional activity, but an integral component of service innovation

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is a tangible manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the aspect of community service. This KKN activity was conducted in Cirendang Village, Cikakak District, Sukabumi Regency, aiming to enhance community capacity, health, literacy, and self-reliance through educational, participatory, and collaborative approaches. Field observation identified core issues in nutrition awareness (stunting risk), lack of disaster preparedness among elementary students, limited village visual navigation aids, and low adoption of digital identity among local MSMEs. In response, 15 integrated work programs were executed, covering Mother and Child Nutrition Classes (Pos Gizi Mini), disaster mitigation simulations, environmental greening ("Satu Pohon Seribu Manfaat"), village mapping and road signage installation, fish pond revitalization, reading corner activation (Jam Baca Ceria), MSME visual rebranding, digital email registration for BPJS administration, primary school teaching assistance, IT literacy workshops, and free health checkups at Puncak Bohai. The implementation methods involved participatory observation, direct practice, socializations, and community collaboration. The results revealed a significant improvement in public health awareness, enhanced disaster safety skills among school children, the creation of official visual village assets, and greater digital independence for 98 residents managing public healthcare access. Active community participation and multi-stakeholder collaboration were the principal factors in successfully realizing a resilient, healthy, and self-sustaining village ecosystem.
