Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research which aims to increase students' learning motivation in the Indonesian language subject class VIII.10 SMPN 2 Sungguminasa. This research was carried out over two cycles with research procedures consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were all 33 students in class VIII.10. Research data was obtained through observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that the application of the culturally responsive teaching (CRT) approach can increase students' learning motivation in Indonesian language subjects as evidenced by an increase of 54.3% from 18.4% before the pre-cycle to 72.7% in the first cycle. an increase in Cycle I to Cycle II of 10.6% from 72.7% to 83.3%. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the culturally responsive teaching (CRT) approach can increase students' learning motivation in Indonesian language subjects in class VIII.10 SMPN 2 Sungguminasa

Abstract

This study aims to implement the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the context of character education in class IA at UPT SPF SD Inpres Mallengkeri II. The research was conducted in two learning cycles, each consisting of three meetings, involving 20 students. Qualitative data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis to assess student enthusiasm and learning outcomes related to the character values being taught. Data analysis techniques included coding, theme identification, and interpretation of the results from interviews and observations. The findings indicate that the application of CRT, supported by the WordWall platform, successfully increased student enthusiasm in the learning process. In the first cycle, active student participation reached 75%, while in the second cycle, enthusiasm rose to over 90%, accompanied by a significant understanding of character values. These findings underscore the importance of integrating character education into the learning process and the effectiveness of technology in creating a more engaging learning experience. This research is expected to contribute to the development of educational practices that are more responsive to the cultural context of students and enhance their understanding of character values in everyday life.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research examines efforts to renew the education system at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Enrekang by adapting local wisdom values as a foundation in facing the dynamics of globalization. The main challenge identified is how to maintain the existence and contribution of Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Enrekang in the global educational environment without eliminating its inherent cultural characteristics. These issues encompass aspects of curriculum development, learning method innovation, educator capacity building, and provision of educational facilities that must be aligned with global standards while remaining grounded in local wisdom values. The methodology employed is a qualitative approach combining philosophical analysis and documentary review. Data collection was conducted through in-depth literature study from various sources, including educational policy documents, previous research studies, and theories about Islamic education, local wisdom, and globalization. The analysis was performed descriptively-interpretively, considering historical and socio-cultural aspects. The research reveals three significant findings: 1) Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Enrekang occupies a strategic position as an educational institution bridging traditional and modern values, 2) There are highly relevant local wisdom values to be integrated into the modern education system, such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong) and deliberation (musyawarah), 3) The developed integration model includes curriculum reformulation, contextual learning method development, and strengthening educator competencies in combining local and global values.

Abstract

Contemporary educational challenges are becoming increasingly complex due to the widespread decline in moral conduct among students, reflected in various behavioral issues ranging from rudeness to minor criminal actions. This situation requires a comprehensive examination of the application of Islamic moral values in the educational context, particularly at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Enrekang. This research aims to examine the essential relationship between Islamic principles and character building in the educational realm, map the methods of implementing Islamic moral values in modern learning systems, and develop an appropriate formula to shape students with noble character. The methodology used is qualitative, based on literature research, analyzing primary references from the Quran and Hadith, supported by academic sources such as scientific literature, research journals, and related publications. Data processing is done through content analysis with systematic stages, including data selection, information organization, and formulation of conclusions. The research findings indicate a significant relationship between the internalization of Islamic values and the development of moral character. In addition, an integrated approach to instilling Islamic moral values yields optimal results through a combination of three methods: providing direct exemplars, forming positive habits, and intensive guidance. This study also emphasizes that the success of character building depends on the synergy between educational institutions, family environment, and social communities, as well as the ability to adapt to technological advances.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement in student learning outcomes at SDI Pabaeng-Baeng through the use of Canva as an interactive medium in the learning process. Employing Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kurt Lewin model, the research follows the phases of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study involved 27 third-grade students from class 3 Baji Pamaik at SDI Pabaeng-Baeng, Makassar City. Data were collected using pretest and post-test instruments, which were then analyzed descriptively. The results show that incorporating Canva as an interactive medium in Indonesian language learning positively impacted student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by an increase in completion rates, from 37% (10 students) in the pre-cycle to 56% (15 students) in the first cycle, and significantly rising to 81% (22 students) in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the learning enthusiasm of sixth-grade students regarding the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) material related to environmental health through the implementation of the educational game WordWall within a problem-based learning model. The type of research employed is classroom action research (CAR) with a collaborative design involving two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, students were introduced to an educational game designed to facilitate their understanding of environmental health concepts. Following the activities, observations were made regarding student engagement and responses. Based on the reflection results, actions were refined and improved in the second cycle by adding variations of games and group discussion methods. The research findings indicate a significant increase in students' learning enthusiasm. In the first cycle, the average engagement score was recorded at 65%, which rose to 85% in the second cycle. Additionally, students' understanding of the material also improved, with the average final test score increasing from 70 in the first cycle to 85 in the second cycle. These findings suggest that the implementation of educational games in problem-based learning is effective in enhancing students' interest and understanding of IPAS material. This study recommends the use of other interactive methods to support classroom learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memastikan bagaimana kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa sekolah dasar dipengaruhi oleh teknik Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R). Desain quasi-eksperimen digunakan dalam teknik penelitian. Tiga puluh siswa masing-masing dari kelas kontrol dan eksperimen membentuk populasi penelitian, yang berjumlah 90 siswa. Pengujian pra-tes dan pasca-tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi semuanya merupakan bagian dari alat pengumpulan data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test di kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pasca-tes adalah 59,30, yang menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pemahaman bacaan tanpa penggunaan SQ3R memiliki tingkat yang cukup tetapi tidak optimal, 2) hasil Independent Sample T-Test yang dilakukan di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan pemahaman bacaan, dengan skor rata-rata pasca-tes sebesar 67,37. 3) Hasil uji T-Test Equality Of Means menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan SQ3R memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan, dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,045 pada kelas eksperimen dan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,045 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan SQ3R memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa. Abstract

This research uses a literature study method or Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which examines the use of Nearpod-based interactive media in Pancasila education learning in elementary schools. This research aims to provide information related to the use of Nearpod-based interactive media in Pancasila education learning in elementary schools to support the learning process in the classroom. The method used is literature study where the data is data from various sources, such as journals, books, scientific papers and other libraries. This collection of data is analyzed one by one to be grouped and combined into a complete conclusion. The results of the research show that the use of Nearpod-based interactive media in Pancasila education learning in elementary schools really supports the learning process, seen from increased understanding of the material and learning outcomes, students who become more active and enthusiastic and are also very enthusiastic about learning, because of the appearance in the product The Nearpod application is interesting and also equipped with audio, video, animation, games and quizzes.

Abstract

Interactive learning media can be a solution for students in learning. According to Sumiharsono (2017: 57) the use of media as a means of conveying information, both audio, visual and audio-visual so that it can stimulate thinking and learning findings for students, therefore the use of technology as audio, visual, and audio-visual learning media can be a solution for information delivery in the field of Education. During the trial process, the researcher wrote down important things about what obstacles occurred when implementing book makers in class V at SDN Pertryan Padang. After applying it, students are then given a test to find out the level of understanding of the material from the author of this book. To find out the level of student understanding, the researchers asked questions to students and the authors designed and made questionnaires for students who still did not understand the material that had been delivered through the book creator. The use of book creators in Pancasila Education subjects at SDN Percobaan Padang can be optimally utilized. This is because the school has facilities that are quite supportive in the operation of this book-making media, such as the availability of projectors, laptops and speakers in the school. This book-making media can be used in online learning, making it easier for teachers to convey learning and students understand what the teacher explains.

Abstract

Thematic learning at SDN Muaro Sungai Lolo has decreased in terms of quality and in the learning process. After being studied, this happened because the learning process was less effective and the teachers were less than optimal in conveying information related to learning materials. Where we know that usually during face-to-face learning, students are more focused and more effective in the teaching and learning process with direction and delivery from the teacher directly. Compared to current online learning, the use of smartphones as a communication tool in online learning is considered ineffective and inefficient. Because as we know that there are many other non-educational applications on smartphones that can interfere with students' concentration and focus. This has a significant impact on students, teachers and parents. This is certainly closely related to the learning system and the use of inappropriate learning media. This study uses a descriptive research method, using comparative data analysis of student grades for the last three years. The conclusion obtained is that at the beginning of making the video, the teachers used the kinemaster application as a support in this case. After operating this Mathematics learning video media to students.
