Abstract

Learning media is a means of channeling learning messages and information. Learning media that are well designed really help students digest and understand the subject matter. The existence of learning media as a tool in the learning process is a fact that cannot be denied. The teacher as a messenger has a great interest in facilitating his task in conveying messages or learning materials to students. The teacher also realizes that without media, learning material will be difficult for students to digest and understand, especially if the learning material that must be delivered is complicated and complex. For this reason, the use of media is absolutely necessary so that material can reach students effectively and efficiently. In general, the benefits of media in the learning process are facilitating interactions between teachers and students so that learning activities will be more effective and efficient. The development of information technology in the current era of globalization and information has spurred the development of more advanced learning media as well. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning medium is already a requirement. Although the design of ICT-based media requires special expertise, it does not mean that the media is avoided and abandoned. ICT-based learning media can be in the form of internet, intranet, mobile phone, and CD Room/Flash Disk. Advances in Information Technology have led to many changes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis makna konotatif dalam cerpenyang berjudul “Teman Kencan” karya Eka Kurniawan, yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen Corat-Coret di Toilet. Cerpen ini mengisahkan seorang pemuda idealis yang merasakan kehancuran hidup dan kesepian setelah menggulingkan pemerintahan yang korup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali makna konotatif yang tersembunyi dalam cerita, dengan fokus pada berbagai jenis konotasi yang menggambarkan konflik batin, emosi, serta pengalaman tokoh utama. Melalui pendekatan semantik, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi enam jenis konotasi dalam cerpen ini: konotasi tinggi, konotasi ramah, konotasi berbahaya, konotasi tidak pantas, konotasi tidak enak, dan konotasi keras. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kata-kata dengan konotasi tertentu berperan penting dalam menggambarkan kedalaman karakter dan perasaan tokoh utama. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pemahaman pembaca tentang pentingnya makna konotatif dalam karya sastra dan memberikan kontribusi bagi kajian semantik dalam sastra Indonesia. Kata Kunci: Semantik, Makna Konotatif, Cerpen Teman Kencan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and work conflict on teacher performance at State Elementary School 001, Ukui District. This research uses the variables Work Motivation and Work Conflict as independent variables and Teacher Performance as the dependent variable with a descriptive quantitative research method and a sample of 39 people and using a saturated sampling method. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression technique. The results of this analysis show that work motivation and work conflict influence teacher performance at State Elementary School 001, Ukui District. From the hypothesis test obtained, the research hypothesis Hypothesis 1, Hypothesis 2 and Hypothesis 3 are accepted.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low ability of students in science content, especially in the photosynthesis process material, this is proven based on the results of daily questions. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the use of video animation media on students’ abilities in learning the photosynthesis process. This type of research was the experimental method. The design of this research was quasi-experimental. The place of this research was SDN 10 Koto Baru and SDN 04 Koto Baru. This research was used at the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The samples for this research were 40 students. From the results of the dependent sample t-test, the significance obtained was 0,001 < 0,005. So it can be concluded that there is an influence from the use of animated video media on students’ abilities in learning the photosynthesis process based on the pretest and posttest results in this research that the use of animated video media has a good influence. Towards students’ abilities. Animasi video media can be used by educators as a supporting medium in the learning process and can increase students’ concentration in participating in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Problems in Mathematics learning in the discussion of fractions, where there is a lack of student learning outcomes in mathematics on fractions. Students still have little knowledge about fractions, students have difficulty understanding fractions. Through this problem, the aim of this research is to overcome the low student learning outcomes. To overcome this, interesting and appropriate media is needed so that students can easily understand the material. Therefore, researchers will apply fraction puzzle media. The type of research used in this research is the experimental method. Experimental research is research conducted to reveal the relationship between two other variables. There are several types of Pre-Experimental Design, namely One-Shot Case Study, One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, and Intact-Group Pretest-Posttest Design (initial test-single group final test). In this study, an initial test (Pretest) was given before treatment was given, after treatment, acting out was given a final test (Posttest). Because by knowing this you can compare the results more accurately. This research was carried out at SDN 04 Koto Baru in class IV in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The population in this study was 20 elementary school students. The data collection instruments used used independent and dependent variables. Development of instruments used for validity testing, reliability testing, level of difficulty testing. The data collection technique used was an initial test (pre-test) and a final test (post-test). The data analysis technique for this research uses the Normality Test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results obtained, the significance of the paired samples t test showed that it was significant at 0.000 at a significance level of 0.005. The calculation results obtained sig <a (0.000 <0.005) which means the t test is not in the Ho acceptance area so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus the hypothesis proposed in this research is proven. So "there is a significant influence of the use of fraction puzzle media in the Mathematics subject Fraction material on the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 04 Koto Baru".

Abstract

The problem that is the background of this research is the low learning achievement of students in fraction material in grade V of SD Inpres Minasa Upa 1. The purpose of this study is to explain how the use of Puzzle learning media can improve the learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Inpres Minasa Upa 1 in fraction material. The method used in this study is a qualitative method and the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings involving planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. This activity will take place from July to September 2024 in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research will be conducted at SD Inpres Minasa Upa 1 according to the ongoing learning schedule. The objects of this research consist of 1 teacher and 21 students from grade V in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The focus of the research consists of two things, namely the use of puzzle learning media and the achievement of learning outcomes. Data were collected using observation sheets, tests, and documentation. The data analysis aused was descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The study showed that the use of puzzle media in learning increased based on observations of student and teacher activities and student learning outcomes. In the early chapters, teachers and students carried out teaching activities with a sufficient level (C). However, in the next chapter, the activity increased to Good (B). In cycle I, 11 students did not mee the Maximum Passing Criteria (KKM) and were included in the Sufficient (C) category. However, in cycle II, 19 students had achieved KKM and were included in the Good (B) category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa fase A kelas 2B SD Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Kristen Satya Wacana pada bulan Agustus 2024-September 2024. Jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) berlangsung dalam 2 siklus. Satu siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa Fase A kelas 2B sebanyak 22 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan Analisis data kuantitatif. Kondisi awal persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar 40.91% presentase belum tuntas 59.09%, kemudian pada penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) siklus I sudah menunjukkan peningkatan presentase hasil belajar menjadi 77.27% presentase siswa belum tuntas 22.73%, kemudian pada siklus II presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar mencapai 90.90% dengan presentase belum tuntas 9.09%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika SD Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga.

Abstract

The decline in the effectiveness of the learning process in schools is caused by suboptimal classroom management and a less than optimal work ethic among teachers. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of classroom management and teacher work ethic on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process in eighth-grade junior high schools. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, involving a population of 160 eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Pabelan, divided into 5 learning groups, each containing 32 students. The sample was taken using purposive sampling techniques and Slovin's formula, resulting in a sample size of 128. Data were collected through questionnaires, and the analysis was implemented using multiple linear regression tests. The findings of the study indicate that classroom management and teacher work ethic have a significant impact on the effectiveness of the learning process, both individually and collectively.

Abstract

This article discusses the significance and role of Islamic education in shifting social structures and functions of society. This study uses a library research approach, while this research is a type of qualitative research. The essence of education and the purpose of education in general is a system and means to improve the welfare of human life in all aspects. The fundamental question related to Islamic education and social change is about how Islamic education can simultaneously function as an agent of change and the dynamics of social change. It is a common understanding that Islam is a religion of love and peace, so it is only natural that Islam, a religion of mercy for all things, is also very concerned about the happiness and well-being of its people. Based on this statement, Islamic education is one of the best alternatives to build humanity, the findings of this study show that Islam builds society through education. The formation of a perfect human is the goal. Islamic education, which always considers two perspectives in all aspects external and spiritual, individual and social, as well as worldly and ukhrowi.

Abstract

This research aims to produce interactive learning media development products using smart apps creator in chapter VIII material, I am a healthy child in class IV. This research uses the type of research and development. This 4D (four-D) development model has four stages, namely: definition, design, development and dissemination. The type of data taken is from the development of interactive learning media, namely quantitative and qualitative. The instruments used in this research are validation of interactive learning media, instruments for the practicality of interactive learning media, instruments for the effectiveness of interactive learning media, data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and questionnaires. The results of research on interactive learning media using smart apps creators resulted in content, material and language validation scores with an average score of 92.06% categorized as very valid. The practicality of interactive learning media using smart apps creator received a score of 89.52% which was categorized as very valid. The effectiveness of interactive learning media using smart apps creator obtained a score of 91.30%, categorized as very effective.
