Abstract

The main problem in this study is that students experience difficulties in pronouncing words correctly, making the messages they convey difficult for listeners to understand. In addition, the students have a limited vocabulary, which causes them to frequently repeat the same words and struggle to express ideas in a coherent manner. Improper use of intonation also contributes to the students’ low speaking skills. One of the contributing factors is the lack of learning media that encourage students to actively speak. This study aims to determine the improvement in speaking skills through the use of the mystery box media among fifth-grade students of UPT SD Inpres Pare'-Pare'. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, with each cycle comprising four meetings. The research procedure includes planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 22 fifth-grade students of UPT SD Inpres Pare'-Pare'. The results showed that in the first cycle, 10 students (45%) met the minimum passing criteria (KKM) with an average score of 57. In the second cycle, 19 students (86%) met the KKM with an average score of 80. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the mystery box media can improve the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SD Inpres Pare'-Pare'.

Abstract

Moral education plays a central role in shaping an individual's character, especially amid the moral challenges that have emerged in the modern era. In Islamic teachings, the heart (qolbu) is regarded as the center of values and behavior, making its management the key to forming noble character. Heart management involves the process of cleansing it of undesirable traits, filling it with praiseworthy traits, and manifesting these in concrete actions. This study aims to examine the concept of heart management in moral education from an Islamic perspective, explain why heart management is the core of moral education, and identify the challenges and solutions for its implementation in Indonesia. This study uses the library research method, which is a research method conducted by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data sourced from literature relevant to the research topic.The results of the study indicate that heart management is the main foundation in the formation of character. The three stages of takhalli, tahalli, and tajallim form an effective framework in character education. The findings also show the positive influence of heart-based education on the formation of students' character, although there are still challenges in its implementation in formal education environments. Abstract

The exemplary conduct of the Prophets and Messengers, miracles, and the righteousness of the saints of Allah and their karamah are essential foundations in shaping the character of Muslims. Prophets and Messengers serve as the ultimate role models, demonstrating noble morals, gentleness, and wise leadership, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in various events, including the Battle of Uhud. The miracles granted to the Prophets and Messengers function as proof of their prophethood and reinforcement of their message, such as Prophet Noah’s ark that saved his people or Prophet David’s ability to soften iron. Meanwhile, the exemplary conduct of the saints of Allah and their karamah serve as inspiration in both spiritual and social life, strengthening values such as simplicity, sincerity, and compassion. These three aspects are interconnected in forming a solid conceptual framework for instilling exemplary values in daily life, reinforcing faith, and guiding Muslims toward a better life based on Islamic teachings. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the forms and contributing factors of impoliteness in comments posted on a YouTube video of the 2024 Vice Presidential Debate on the Narasi channel. The research employed a qualitative method with a pragmatic discourse analysis approach. Data were collected through documentation of comments over three months and analyzed using Jonathan Culpeper’s (1996) theory of impoliteness. The results show that the forms of impoliteness identified include bald-on-record, positive impoliteness, negative impoliteness, sarcasm, and withholding politeness. The most dominant type was positive impoliteness, expressed through subtle derision, followed by sarcasm, direct impoliteness, negative impoliteness, and avoidance strategies. Contributing factors include weak social ties, disregard for social hierarchy, and deliberate neglect of politeness norms in online interactions. This research highlights the need for greater awareness of digital communication ethics as part of digital literacy. The findings are expected to encourage more polite and constructive communication in virtual public spaces

Abstract

Rifka Triana Putri. 2025. Pengembangan Modul Digital Berbasis CTL pada Materi Sistem Reproduksi Siswa Kelas XI. Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengembangkan Modul Digital Berbasis CTL pada Materi Sistem Reproduksi Siswa Kelas XI, serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana validitas dan kepraktisanya. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 MAN 1 MAKASSAR dengan sampel 34 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket penilaian validitas dengan indeks aiken dan kepraktisan dengan presentase, dan data yang akan dianalisis yakni data valid dan praktis. Hasil analisis analisis validitas menunjukkan bahwa modul digital yang dikembangkan berada pada rentang indeks 0,96>0,8 yang berada pada kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil analisis kepraktisan dari siswa berada pada presentase 80%<85%≤100% dengan kategori sangat praktis, sehingga modul digital berbasis CTL pada Materi Sistem Reproduksi Siswa Kelas XI bersifat valid dan praktis

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini ialah Research and Development, dengan model ADDIE yangmencakup lima tahapan: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, danEvaluation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaranbiologi yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai keislaman dan berbasis model DiscoveryLearning pada konsep sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa SMA, serta untukmengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan bahan ajar modul digital. Teknikpengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah angket penilaianvaliditas dengan indeks aiken dan kepraktisan dengan persentase, serta data yangdianalisis yakni data valid dan praktis. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa e-moduldigital yang dirancang menggunakan Canva dan dapat diakses melalui tautanmaupun QR code. Validitas e-modul dinilai oleh dua orang ahli materi dan ahlimedia, dengan hasil rata-rata skor 3,78 dan 3,96 yang berada pada kategori "sangatvalid". Hasil uji kepraktisan dilakukan oleh seorang guru dan 17 siswa kelas XI, memperoleh persentase kepraktisan 86% dari guru (kategori sangat praktis) dan79% dari siswa (kategori praktis). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa e-modul inilayak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar alternatif dalam pembelajaran biologi yangtidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep ilmiah, tetapi juga membentukkarakter dan kesadaran spiritual siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The learning process in the 21st century must provide students with 4C skills, including critical thinking skills. Contrary to the fact that students are still lacking in this ability. To achieve this goal, repeated activities are needed, and the application of the Experiential Learning method will support teachers in developing and triggering the improvement of critical thinking skills in students. This study applies a quantitative approach in a quasi-experimental design, with a population of fifth-grade students from SDN Garatengah and SDN 3 Jalaksana and uses a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis methods applied in this study include validity tests, reliability tests, discrimination power tests, question difficulty tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, N-Gain tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the independent sample t-test show a Sig. (2-tailed) value with the assumption of equal variance of 0.004. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Sig. value. (2-tailed) 0.004 < 0.05 indicates the effect of implementing the Experiential Learning method in improving the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in science learning in elementary schools. The N-Gain test result was 60.68421 or 60%, indicating that the Experiential Learning method had a significant effect in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Education is a planned effort to actively develop students' potential, including various aspects such as intelligence, personality, and spirituality. Education in Indonesia is highly valued by the government, and Article 31 (1) of the 1945 Constitution guarantees the rights of every citizen. The Children's Conference also confirmed the educational rights of all children, including those from poor families. A child who shows differences in growth and development compared to their peers. This includes various conditions, such as visual, hearing, intellectual, physical impairments, and learning difficulties. Students often feel that they are discriminated against due to their less fortunate circumstances, as they face significant challenges in integrating into the general educational environment. As a result, they require educational services tailored to their needs. This includes ensuring access to high-quality education for all. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method across the literature review to understand the implementation of integrated education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri Bertingkat Naikoten through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Quizizz. The research was motivated by low student achievement in mathematics, particularly in the topic of dividing whole numbers up to 100, due to conventional teaching methods that lacked student engagement. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation sheets and tests, then analyzed descriptively. Results showed a significant improvement: the average student score increased from 50.37 in the pre-cycle to 62.59 in Cycle I and further to 81.11 in Cycle II. Similarly, the percentage of students achieving the mastery criteria rose from 18.52% (pre-cycle) to 40.74% (Cycle I) and 92.59% (Cycle II). The findings indicate that the PBL model combined with Quizizz effectively enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes by making the process interactive and enjoyable. This approach not only improved mathematical understanding but also fostered critical thinking and collaboration skills. The study concludes that integrating technology like Quizizz with PBL can be a viable strategy to address learning challenges in elementary mathematics

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of using AI chatbot in accounting learning on student learning outcomes with learning motivation as a moderating variable in Central Jakarta State Vocational School students. The study employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires and documentation. The target population consisted of 213 students in the 11th grade of the Accounting and Financial Institution Program. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The analysis revealed that: (1) the use of AI chatbot negatively significantly affects student learning outcomes, (2) learning motivation as a moderating variable has a significant positive effect on learning outcomes, (3) learning motivation cannot moderate the relationship between the use of AI chatbot and student learning outcomes. Although learning motivation has a direct influence on learning outcomes, its presence is not able to strengthen or weaken the effect of using AI chatbots on student learning outcomes.
