Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile through the Muhammadiyah/Keaisyiyahan program at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal VI Manggala, Makassar City. This research was carried out at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal V1 Manggala Kindergarten, Makassar City. The informants in this study were school principals and teachers in group B1 Aisyiyah Kindergarten Bustanul Athfal V1 Manggala Makassar City. The method of data collection in this study is qualitative data collection, namely observation, interviews, and documentation as well as data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students through the Kemuhammadiyahan/keaisyiyahan program at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal VI Manggala Makassar City is in accordance with the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, one of which is faith, piety to the One and Only God and has noble character which is carried out with habit. perform dhuha prayers, recite the Koran, and pray every day before starting learning or after the end of learning. So, after the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students in Muhammadiyah/Aisyiyah activities, the implementation is still the same as before the project was implemented to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan di era abad 21 menuntut adanya pendekatan asesmen yang mampu mengukur kompetensi peserta didik secara holistik dan kontekstual. Kompetensi seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, kolaborasi, literasi digital, dan karakter menjadi fokus utama dalam proses pembelajaran saat ini. Namun, pendekatan asesmen konvensional yang hanya menilai aspek kognitif dan menghasilkan angka-angka nilai belum mampu menggambarkan kemampuan sebenarnya dari peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep asesmen abad 21 serta bagaimana strategi penerapannya dalam konteks pembelajaran modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif menurut Sugiyono (2022), melalui telaah sumber-sumber ilmiah terkini dari tahun 2019–2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen abad 21 memerlukan strategi penilaian autentik, formatif, berbasis proyek, dan didukung teknologi digital. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan guru untuk menilai proses dan hasil belajar secara lebih bermakna, serta menumbuhkan tanggung jawab belajar pada siswa. Dengan demikian, asesmen abad 21 bukan hanya alat untuk mengukur nilai, melainkan sarana untuk menakar dan mengembangkan kompetensi peserta didik secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven a major transformation in the world of education, one of which is through the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an interactive learning medium. AR enables the integration of virtual objects into real environments in real-time, thereby creating a more engaging, contextual and immersive learning experience. This research aims to examine strategies for using AR in the learning process, especially in increasing student engagement, understanding abstract concepts, and supporting personal and collaborative learning. Apart from reviewing the advantages of AR such as increasing learning motivation, time flexibility, and three-dimensional visualization, this study also highlights implementation challenges, including limited infrastructure, teacher readiness, and curriculum and ethical issues. Various types of AR applications such as Discovery-Based Learning, Object Modeling, AR Books, Game-Based Learning, and Skill Training show great potential in enriching teaching methods, especially in the field of science. With the right strategy, the use of AR can be an innovative solution to answer the dynamic and technology-based learning needs of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study examines the application of basic teaching skills in elementary schools using a systematic literature review approach. The basic teaching skills include abilities in planning, executing, and evaluating the teaching and learning process. The research uses a literature review to analyse various relevant sources and identify the theoretical gaps between previous research results and the latest developments in the field. The main focus of this research is on the effective application of basic teaching skills to improve the quality of teaching in elementary schools. The findings of this study show that mastering basic teaching skills is crucial for teachers in supporting the success of the learning process and enhancing students' motivation. Various theories explain how basic teaching skills can be applied in elementary schools, emphasising the importance of an appropriate approach to meet the needs of students and the educational context. The study concludes that training and development of basic teaching skills for teachers are essential to improving the quality of education in elementary schools. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan keterampilan dasar mengajar di Sekolah Dasar dengan pendekatan sistematik kajian literatur. Keterampilan dasar mengajar yang dimaksud meliputi kemampuan dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, serta mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber yang relevan untuk menemukan kesenjangan teori antara hasil penelitian sebelumnya dan perkembangan teori terbaru. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah pada penerapan keterampilan dasar mengajar yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran di SD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan keterampilan dasar mengajar sangat penting bagi guru dalam mendukung keberhasilan proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Terdapat berbagai teori yang menjelaskan bagaimana keterampilan dasar mengajar dapat diterapkan di sekolah dasar dan pentingnya pendekatan yang tepat agar dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa dan konteks pendidikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan dan pengembangan keterampilan dasar mengajar bagi guru sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Asesmen dalam dunia pendidikan tidak lagi dipandang sekadar sebagai alat ukur capaian belajar, melainkan sebagai bagian integral dari proses pembelajaran itu sendiri. Artikel ini mengkaji peran asesmen formatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berdasarkan studi literatur mutakhir. Asesmen formatif terbukti mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif, serta mendorong refleksi guru dan peserta didik. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka dengan merujuk pada pendapat ahli terbaru, terutama teori Black dan Wiliam yang diperbarui serta integrasi dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen formatif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar secara signifikan bila diterapkan secara konsisten dan reflektif. Temuan ini mendukung pentingnya pergeseran paradigma asesmen dari penilaian akhir ke proses pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Elementary education plays a crucial role in building the quality of human resources, where student learning success is the main goal that must be achieved through an effective learning process. One of the key factors supporting this success is the implementation of appropriate learning evaluation. This study aims to analyze how the application of learning evaluation in elementary schools (SD) can contribute to student learning success. The research method used is literature study (library research), reviewing various relevant written sources such as scientific journals, books, and educational articles. The research results indicate that the implementation of evaluation based on the principles of validity, reliability, objectivity, comprehensiveness, continuity, and educative nature can enhance learning effectiveness. Strategies for implementing formative evaluation, such as goal checks, observations, individual discussions, group presentations, and self-assessment, as well as summative evaluation through written tests, portfolios, and performance assessments, have proven to monitor and improve student learning achievements continuously. In conclusion, well-designed and properly implemented evaluation not only measures student achievement but also serves as an important tool to improve the learning process and support the optimal development of students at the elementary education level.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ mathematical communication skills through the implementation of the Brain Based Learning (BBL) model in IX-4 of SMPS Katolik Budi Murni 1 Medan. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through mathematical communication ability tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the systematic and structured application of the Brain Based Learning (BBL) model was able to enhance students' mathematical communication skills. In the first cycle, the average percentage of students’ learning mastery was 6.25%, which increased to 93.75% in the second cycle. This improvement reflects the effectiveness of the BBL model in helping students understand and communicate mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. Therefore, the Brain Based Learning (BBL) model can be considered an effective alternative teaching strategy to improve the quality of mathematics learning, especially in the aspect of communication.

Abstract

Through the use of Synthetic Analytical Structural (SAS) methods, this research seeks to enhance the implementation of the first reading learn and improve processes. the outcomes of using Synthetic Analytic Structure (SAS) Methods to enhance beginners' reading abilities SDN Cikalong Class I Students 2. Synthetic analytic structure (SAS) methods are used to improve the reading process and initial learning outcomes. This is done through classroom activities and qualitative research. Collaboration between teachers and students for classroom action research. The findings demonstrated that the use of Synthetic Analytical Structural Methods (SAS) to create wholesome, spotless, and lovely Ambient materials could enhance students' beginning reading abilities. It can be inferred from pre-cycle observations that the level of learning outcomes for reading in a tidy, healthy, and attractive environment is still below average or low, i.e. e. 65.7% of students who have not yet graduated from school at the designated KKM. The average score must be at least 70. In cycle II, the grade point average is 66 points higher than it was in cycle I, which was only 65 points, and the student pass rate is 65 points higher than it was in cycle I, which was not 65 points. This information can be gleaned from each student's grade results, which are completed in accordance with the established KKM, which is 70.

Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisor I Andi Paida, and Supervisor II Muhammad Saeful. Research on the Influence of Using Local Wisdom-Based Learning Media in Increasing Reading Interest of Fifth Grade Students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang. This study aims to describe the Influence of Using Local Wisdom-Based Learning Media in Increasing Reading Interest of Fifth Grade Students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang. The sample in this study was fifth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 16 people. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with an experimental approach. The research design used in this study is One Group Pretest-posttest, where this study was conducted by comparing the conditions before and after learning. Based on the results of research and data analysis on the comparison of statistical values, comparison of learning outcome categories, and comparison of completion levels, it has proven that there has been an increase in the learning outcomes of class V students of UPT SD Negeri 8 Tarowang seen from the learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using local wisdom-based learning media, the average student score is still below the KKM score and after using local wisdom-based learning media, the average student score increases above the KKM score. It is known that the Posttest score of 80.31 is greater than the Pretest score of 60.06. Furthermore, based on the results of the inferential statistical data analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the tcount obtained is 9,814 with a frequency of df = 16-1 = 15, at a significant level = 0.05, the ttable is 1.75305. So tcount> ttable or HO is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in learning outcomes. So that Local Wisdom-Based Learning Media can be used as a very appropriate supporting media for students and teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' critical thinking skills at Budi Murni 1 Medan Catholic High School through the application of Problem-based learning (PBL) model integrated with Teaching at the Right Level. This research is a class action research conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were students of class VII-4 SMPS Katolik Budi Murni 1 Medan, totaling 25 students. Data collection methods through critical thinking skills test, teacher ability observation and student activity observation. The results of the study stated that there was an increase in the critical thinking ability of students after the application of the Problem-based learning (PBL) model integrated with the Teaching At the Right Level approach, with an average value of cycle I of 64.41 increasing to 88.16 in cycle II, classical completeness in the critical thinking ability test cycle I as many as 15 students (60%) increased to 22 students (88%) with a score ≥70 in cycle II, and the results of improving the critical thinking skills of students from the N-gain test value increased from cycle I of 0.37 increased in cycle II to 0.72 with a high improvement category so that it was concluded that the application of the Problem-based learning (PBL) model Integrated Teaching at The Right Level can improve the critical thinking skills of students in Class VII of Budi Murni 1 Medan Catholic High School
