Abstract

SMEs play an important role in regional economic development; however, many business owners still face challenges in managing production costs. One of the main issues is the use of simple costing methods that do not systematically account for all production cost components. This condition may lead to undercosting or overcosting, resulting in inaccurate pricing decisions and reduced profitability. This study aims to analyze the calculation of Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) using the full costing method in SMEs in Jambi City. The full costing method incorporates all production cost elements, including direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using primary and secondary data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research objects consisted of CV Jambi Grafika Mandiri, which applies a job order costing system, and Roti Cahaya Jambi, which uses a process costing system. The findings indicate that the full costing method provides more accurate and comprehensive production cost information than conventional costing practices. At CV Jambi Grafika Mandiri, the total production cost amounted to IDR 4,700,000 per order, resulting in a unit cost of IDR 940. Meanwhile, Roti Cahaya Jambi recorded a total production cost of IDR 31,000,000 per production period, with a unit cost of IDR 3,100. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the full costing method improves the accuracy of COGM calculations and supports more effective managerial decision-making in SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal provisions and the meaning of Special Minimum Penalty stipulated in Article 82 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 17 of 2016, to examine the legal reasons and judges’ considerations in imposing a sentence below the minimum threshold, and to thoroughly assess whether the verdict has fulfilled the elements of justice for the child victim. This research is a normative legal study. The results indicate that although Article 82 Paragraph (1) sets a minimum threshold as a form of maximum legal protection for children, judges still hold legitimate authority under Article 51 of the Indonesian Criminal Code to deviate from such provisions, provided that the decision is grounded in strong, valid, and clearly elaborated reasons. The reduction of penalty in Verdict Number 42/Pid.Sus/2021/PN LRT was based on comprehensive considerations, including: the defendant’s admission of guilt, expression of remorse, and clean criminal record; the defendant’s personal circumstances and economic role as the sole breadwinner of the family; the incidental nature of the act committed without violence, along with its minor harmful impacts and the victim’s full recovery; and the existence of a peace agreement between the parties. In synthesis, this verdict constitutes a just, humane, and appropriate decision within the context of the specific case, as it successfully balances legal certainty, protection for the victim, accountability of the perpetrator, and the values of justice upheld in society.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SD Negeri 13 Curio. Teacher-centered learning and the lack of innovative learning models and media have caused students to be less active during the learning process. This study aimed to determine the effect of Game Based Learning assisted by audio-visual media on students' learning outcomes in magnetism, electricity, and technology for life topics. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 21 students selected through saturated sampling techniques. Data were collected through pretests and posttests and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the mean pretest score was 61.90 and increased to 91.43 in the posttest. The Wilcoxon test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Therefore, Game Based Learning assisted by audio-visual media had a positive and significant effect on students' IPAS learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines a criminological review of perpetrators involved in the unauthorized transportation of timber within the Mutis Timau Production Forest Area RTK 183 Bipolo, Kupang Regency, as reflected in the Decision of the Oelamasi District Court Number 37/Pid.Sus-LH/2025/PN Olm. The research questions addressed in this study are: (1) What are the contributing factors behind the occurrence of unauthorized timber transportation in the Bipolo Area, Kupang Regency? (2) How are rehabilitation and guidance efforts carried out toward perpetrators of unauthorized timber transportation in the Bipolo Area, Kupang Regency? This study employed an empirical research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research was conducted at The Class IIB Detention Center of Kupang, the Regional Office for Natural Resources Conservation (KSDA) of East Nusa Tenggara, the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Forest Management Unit (KPH) for Kupang Regency, Kupang City, and Sabu Raijua, and the Head of the Forest Protection and Forestry Law Enforcement Agency for the Java–Bali–Nusa Tenggara Region, c.q. Section III Manggarai Barat, Kupang Gakkum Post. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) The contributing factors behind unauthorized timber transportation in the Bipolo Forest Area include internal factors, namely economic need, low levels of education and understanding of forestry law, and self-rationalization by the perpetrators; and external factors, namely weak forest area supervision due to limited human resources and infrastructure, high market demand for timber, social environmental influences that normalize illegal behavior, and the involvement of intellectual actors who exploit laborers as field operatives. (2) Rehabilitation and guidance efforts toward the perpetrators are carried out not only through a repressive approach via criminal sentencing, but also through rehabilitative and preventive measures, including legal counseling and forestry law education, environmental awareness development, vocational skills training, economic empowerment of communities surrounding the forest area, and strengthened cooperation among BBKSDA, UPTD KPH, Forestry Law Enforcement (Gakkum), local government, and the community through the establishment of Community Forest Police Partnership groups (MMP).

Abstract

Intellectual property plays a crucial role in providing legal protection for the creative and innovative outcomes of the community. However, the low level of public understanding regarding the importance of copyright, trademark, and patent protection poses a challenge to optimizing the utilization of the intellectual property system. Therefore, intellectual property services provided by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights play a strategic role in increasing public awareness and access to such legal protection. This study aims to describe the implementation of intellectual property services in supporting copyright, trademark, and patent protection through internships at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in West Nusa Tenggara. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation conducted during the internship, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that intellectual property services at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in West Nusa Tenggara are implemented through consultation services, registration assistance, outreach, and facilitation of copyright, trademark, and patent applications. These services contribute to increasing public understanding, simplifying the registration process, and supporting legal protection for works and innovations. Although there are still obstacles such as low intellectual property literacy and limited understanding of registration procedures, various efforts to improve services continue to be made. Thus, the implementation of intellectual property services at the NTB Ministry of Law and Human Rights has played a positive role in strengthening the protection of the community's intellectual property rights.
