Abstract

The background of this research is that when students learn Arabic language skills they have difficulty in writing Arabic. This study aims to develop and analyze the feasibility of khat and imla 'materials for seventh grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah. This development research uses the Borg and Gall development research model with six stages. The results of this study indicate that teaching materials have been developed according to the Borg and Gall seven-step model, namely problem and potential identification, information gathering, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The results of the validation of the developed teaching materials showed that the material experts assessed that the developed product was very well qualified, the learning expert was very well qualified, and the media expert was also very well qualified.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguraikan penggunaan, bentuk dan fungsi harfu ta’diyah ‘alādalam kajian bahasa Arab. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu dengan melihat koneksitas antara harfu jar, khususnya harf ‘alā yang kemudian disebut harfu ta’diyah dengan berbagai bentuk fi’il serta konsekuensinya dalam aspek sintaksis dan terjemahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif (qualitative research) dengan berbasis pada data penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data primer penelitian ini adalah buku Dalīl fī al-Tarjamah karya Dr Rofi’i, dan sumber sekundernya diambil dari berbagai macam literatur seperti buku-buku, artikel jurnal ilmiah, kamus dan sumber lain yang relevan dengan topik kajian. Penulis menganalisis 22 contoh teks Arab yang di dalamnya terdapat harfu ta’diyah ‘alā yang memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam pembentukan kalimat karena memiliki konektifitas dengan fi’ilyang diikutinya. Meninjau hasil analisis peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa harfu jar, dalam hal ini yang dijadikan contohnya harfu ‘alā, berfungsi sebagai alat atau perantara untuk menyampaikan makna-makna fi’il kepada objeknya (maf’ul bih).Selain berfungsi sebagai alat untuk menjarkan isim setelahnya, keberadaan harfu jar setelah fi’il dapat memberi makna baru, bahkan terdapat pola yang mana harfu jar sendiri tidak diberi padanan terjemahan tertentu. Hal itu menjadi penting untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif bagi para pengkaji bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This research examines the poetry of Aina Azhabu by Nizzar Qabani, a Syrian poet. This poem tells about the character I who lost his girlfriend Dariya. However, there are still words and sentences that are difficult for readers to understand. Therefore, this poem is very suitable for analysis using riffaterre semiotic theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source used was a book entitled Qasayid Mutawahisha by Nizzar Qabbani, and the data source used was riffaterre semiotic theory, then the data collection technique used was library techniques. In this poem there are many sentences that do not have complete meaning, such as أن نفسي من نفسها تتعجب، يسكن الشعر في حدائق عينيك، فلولا عيناك لا شعر يكتب, which contain a replacement of the meaning of the previous meaning (displacing of meaning). Then to get the complete meaning, you have to use a search matrix, model and hypogram. This model will guide the reader to find the matrix. In the opinion of the author, the model in this poem is in two sentences أنت أحلى خرافة في حياتي و والذي يتبع الخرافات يتعب these two models were chosen, because both of them represent the entire sound of the text of the poem contained in the subject, firstly the poet's unwillingness due to Dariya's departure so that he considers his lover as a mystery in his life, and secondly the idea that his love for my character for Daria is a delusion. The poetry matrix that is then obtained is about “Imagine Love” which can be seen from the use of the word love repeated up to four times. Then in the last line the idea that the love of my character for Daria is just a fantasy.

Abstract

This research investigates the meanings and significance of the word "النفس" in the Quran through a comprehensive lexical and contextual approach. Within the Quranic context, this word is employed with various nuances of meaning, posing challenges to accurate comprehension. The research methodology encompasses a literature review, lexical analysis, contextual analysis, the study of interpretations (tafsir), and the formulation of conclusions. This study holds significant relevance in deepening the understanding of the Quran, enriching Quran translations, and contributing to the fields of religious studies and Islamic studies. The meaning of the word "النفس" in the Quran may vary depending on the context of the verses in which it is used. In some verses, it refers to the life or soul of a human being, while in others, its meaning pertains to the nature of humans, particularly the inclination towards wrongdoing, or it denotes a guilty conscience. This meaning is essential for comprehending the messages and teachings of the Quran, as well as the importance of safeguarding the soul and human behavior in accordance with the principles of the Islamic faith.

Abstract

This article discusses the convergence between linguistic and literary studies, especially in the context of syntax and semantics, and how this convergence influences narrative in literary works. Through a multidisciplinary approach, this article explores the ways in which linguistic elements such as sentence structure and the meaning of words can deepen our understanding of stories and characters in literary works. In syntactic analysis, this study explains how sentence structure in literary texts can affect narrative rhythm, express character emotions, and create dramatic tension. On the other hand, semantic analysis reveals how the choice of words and their meanings can design hidden messages in narratives, enrich characterization, and express main themes in literary works. This article also describes how this linguistic approach can help readers and researchers of literature better understand how writers use language to create powerful and diverse works. By considering the essential role of syntax and semantics in literature, this article highlights the importance of integration between linguistic and literary studies in analyzing and appreciating the richness and complexity of literary works, as well as providing a deeper view of how language plays a key role in the process of telling stories and creating meaningful literary experiences. deep.

Abstract

The social changes that have occurred in the Arab world in the modern era have greatly influenced changes in contemporary literary styles, this has raised many questions about how contemporary literary styles are influenced by the social changes currently occurring. This research aims to discuss the influence of social changes occurring in modern society on contemporary literary styles, as well as find out what factors can influence contemporary literary styles. The method that will be used in this research is the qualitative descriptive method, with this method it is hoped that readers can understand the discussion in this research through the images that will be presented more clearly, while the qualitative approach is used because it is often used in humanities, social sciences, and research. other things that cannot be explained using numbers. Meanwhile, the data collection used in this research used the Literature Study method, where this research obtained data sources from several written works such as books, song lyrics, and articles and journals related to the theme of this research. The results of the research in this article show that social changes have a great influence on contemporary literary styles, giving birth to new genres in literary works. This occurs as a result of reflection on the social conditions that existed in the era in which the literary work was born because in reality literary works are not born from emptiness, but written in the social context in which the literary work was created.

Abstract

Marginalization still often haunts figures called 'women'. This is because stereotypes are still attached which originate from prejudice and discrimination. This stereotype is what causes the emergence of many forms of marginalization and injustice towards women. The novel Mudzakarat Thabibah by Nawwal Assa'dawi and the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El-shirazy have similar stories regarding the marginalization of women. The two novels will be analyzed using comparative literary studies theory with a liberal feminist theory approach. This research uses a type of library research. The method used by researchers is the qualitative descriptive method. The focus of this research is the form of marginalization of women, the causes of marginalization, and the struggle to face marginalization in female characters. The research results state that there are forms of marginalization of women in the form of control over women's movements, control over creative power, and control over women's reproduction and sexuality. It was also found that the causes of marginalization were stereotypes about women such as having to marry and have children, having to be able to cook, having to be a housewife, and having limited experience.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the portrait of the suffering of the Palestinian population in the short story Al-Qamish Al-Masruq by Ghassan Kanafani. The theme raised in this short story is about the situation of the Palestinian population in exile after being expelled by Israel. This is in accordance with the principle of literary works which function as a reflection of the condition of society. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Meanwhile, the approach to this research is the literary sociology approach by Ian Watt.. Analysis of the short story text Al-Qamish Al-Masruq with this approach uses three objects or three factors: The relationship between the author of the work and his community, the literary work itself, the function of the literary work in society's life. The results of the analysis of the short story Al-Qamish Al-Masruq are that there are three forms of suffering of the Palestinian population in displacement: (1) Hunger (2) Poverty (3) Exploitation (4) Social gap Key words: Palestine, suffering, Al-Qamish Al-Masruq, sociology of literature, Arabic literature Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potret penderitaan penduduk Palestina dalam cerita pendek Al-Qamish Al-Masruq karya Ghassan Kanafani. Tema yang diangkat dalam cerita pendek ini adalah tentang keadaan penduduk Palestina dalam pengasingan setelah terusir oleh Israel. Hal ini sesuai dengan prinsip karya sastra yang berfungsi sebagai cerminan kondisi masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan pendekatan untuk penelitian ini adalah pendekatan sosiologi sastra oleh Ian Watt.. Analisis teks cerita pendek Al-Qamish Al-Masruq dengan pendekatan ini melalui tiga objek atau tiga faktor : Hubungan penulis karya dengan masyarakatnya, karya sastra itu sendiri, fungsi karya sastra terhadap kehidupan masyarakat. Hasil dari analisis cerita pendek Al-Qamish Al-Masruq adalah ada tiga bentuk penderitaan penduduk Palestina dalam pengungsian : (1) Kelaparan (2) Kemiskinan (3) Eskploitasi . Abstract

Mempertahankan makna dari teks sumber ke dalam Bahasa target merupakan prinsip dasar dalam melakukan penerjemahan untuk memastikan bahwa informasi yang disampaikan tetap jelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode terjemahan yang digunakan oleh Google Translate dalam mengalihbahasakan teks berita dari Bahasa Arab ke Bahasa Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini mengevaluasi teknik penerjemahan yang diterapkan oleh mesin penerjemah tersebut. Data diperoleh dari teks berita Bahasa Arab yang telah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia oleh Google Translate. Hasil analisis menunjukkan berbagai teknik seperti transposisi, peminjaman murni, calque, dan modulasi yang digunakan dalam proses terjemahan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Google Translate mampu menghasilkan terjemahan yang relatif akurat, namun pengguna perlu memahami batasan dan potensi kesalahan yang mungkin terjadi dalam proses penerjemahan.

Abstract

Language is a social communication tool in the form of a system of sound symbols produced from human speech. Over time, language has developed in terms of sound, structure, meaning, style and even teaching and learning. In today's digital era, technology can be used as an innovative, creative, effective and efficient learning medium. Social media is one tool that can be used as a learning medium in language learning. YouTube is a media that can be used as a language learning medium. This research aims to analyze learning media using the YouTube Arab Podcasts platform in Arabic language learning in the form of discussions using the book takalam al-arabiyah volumes 1 and 2 of daily life topics for beginners, muhadatsah arabiyah, and nadzom alfiyah Ibnu Malik.. This research method using library research using a descriptive qualitative research approach method. The data sources for this research come from books, articles and content on the Arab Podcasts YouTube channel. The data collection technique is an analysis of the Arab Podcasts YouTube channel. Data analysis is carried out in three ways, namely data presentation, data reduction and conclusion drawing. The results of this research show that the YouTube Arab Podcasts platform is one of the Arab language learning media that is easy for students to understand.
