Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of Electronic Word Of Mouth, Product Quality, and Price on purchase intention. This research was conducted on the Imokey.Id Brand on the Instagram Platform with a sample of 100 respondents from imokey.id followers. This study uses a verification research model with an explanatory survey method, namely the research method for collecting sample data using slovin calculations. This study has the result that electronic word of mouth has an influence on purchase intention while product quality does not have a direct influence on purchase intention and price has an influence on purchase intention.

Abstract

Government prepares Law Copyright Labor by using the concept of Omnibus Law, to be used as a scheme to build the economy in order to attract investors to invest in Indonesia. Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation has several clusters, one of which regulates employment as stated in the previous Law, namely Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower. In the employment cluster, the Government seeks to harmonize the 3 laws so that they are in line so as to provide a space for investors to open their businesses without worrying about overlapping regulations and causing losses to investors. This research menuse normative juridical methods , the concept of the Omnibus Law So far it is not clearly regulated in Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation . The government is trying to implement the omnibus law to create jobs. But it is not balanced with regulatory substances that are able to avoid conflicts that have occurred so far. This Job Creation Act still has many weaknesses. This problem exists in changes to the provisions for leave, giving severance pay and others. These changes further narrow the space for workers / laborers to fight for their rights.

Abstract

In health law, obtaining adequate services and facilities is a right that the Indonesian people must obtain. However, rural areas tend to have inadequate services and facilities due to many factors. The health condition in this village is certainly not in accordance with the applicable health laws. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing government efforts to improve health services and facilities in rural areas related to health law. The results obtained are that many areas have not received adequate health services and facilities. So far, the government has made efforts to improve these health services and facilities; it's just not optimal and more effort is needed so that all rural communities can feel the results obtained.

Abstract

On December 9, 2020, people in Indonesia, especially in Central Kalimantan, participated in holding regional head elections simultaneously. In the Regional Election (Pilkada) on December 9 in Kalimantan, there were 2 elections, namely the regional head election for the governor and Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan for the period 2021-2025 and the election for the regional head of the Regent/Deputy Regent for the period 2021-2025 in East Kotawaringin Regency. The hustle and bustle of implementing the simultaneous regional elections on 9 December 2020 has differences from the previous regional head elections, this is because the implementation of the 9 December 2020 regional elections was held amid the pandemic threat of covid-19 (coronavirus disease -19). Even though it went through a long process, the pros and cons covered the election policy for the simultaneous regions, in the end, the elections were still held on December 9, 2020. Apart from Central Kalimantan, in Indonesia alone, there were around 270 regions that held simultaneous regional elections on 9 December 2020. The study in this paper wants to know how the regional head elections are held in Central Kalimantan, especially in the city of Palangka Raya. This is because Palangka Raya City has a history of the highest confirmed area of Covid-19 transmission. Besides, Palangka Raya as the capital of Central Kalimantan Province is a barometer of seeing the succession of simultaneous regional elections in Central Kalimantan. In its implementation, the Central Kalimantan Pilkada in Palangka Raya went well. The voter turnout in Palangka Raya City reached 63%. What is unique is that the regional elections in Central Kalimantan have increased participation amid a pandemic compared to the 2015 regional elections which were held in conditions without a pandemic. Even though the overall participation is below the target of the KPU RI, this increase needs to be appreciated.

Abstract

Sports coaching is a very important factor for advancing the world of sports. Without properly systemized scouting, the achievement stage will not be maximally achieved. This research aims to identify the sports talents of students at Wonorejo I/312 Primary School Surabaya and the dominant sports among the students. This quantitative research employed exploratory descriptive method. The research population included ten 6th grade students. Data obtained using 10 test types from Sport Search Aussie Sport Australia were identified and analysed. Based on the ranks, the results revealed the following sports talents: Diving, Gymnastics, Weightlifting, Indoor Cricket, and Powerlifting, which can potentially be developed.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020 had a significant impact on all types of businesses which resulted in a crisis in all types of businesses in Labuan Bajo, one of which was the hotel industry in Labuan Bajo. The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the room occupancy rate experiencing a drastic decline, one of which was due to the lack of domestic and foreign tourist visits. This situation requires the hotel industry to revise, innovate, and change its business strategy. This study aims to explore crisis and disaster management for tourism, especially in the hospitality industry by considering a strategic approach from the hotel management perspective. The government and local stakeholders in an effort to grow the hotel industry in Labuan Bajo. One of the strategies carried out by the government in an effort to grow the room occupancy rate is by establishing certification in the hotel industry that establishes health protocols based on Cleanliness (Cleanliness), Health (Health), Safety (Security), and Environment Sustainability (Environmental Sustainability) or CHSE. If it is known that each hotel has implemented and made improvements in terms of service to consumers based on the CHSE, the government will provide subsidies or funds intended for the purchase of tools related to handling COVID 19 in the hotel area. In addition, giving a CHSE Certificate to a hotel will create a feeling of security for consumers to stay at the hotel. The hotel also needs to identify what consumers need and want, as well as consumer behavior patterns, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic which pays attention to cleanliness, health, and sustainability, so hotel management in offering and carrying out hotel operational activities pays attention to the healthy lifestyle of consumers.

Abstract

English is an essential element in the field of marketing communication. The use of sound and correct language can provide its image for the public to view its brand’s image. The use of foreign language itself is one form of forming a brand image so that the public or potential consumers themselves can see a brand with a more positive image. This study aims to look at the purpose of implementing language choice on the Instagram page of Starbucks Indonesia and Coffee Bean Indonesia in building the brand image of these two global coffee shop brands  in Ramadan month and the Eid celebration. This study employs a qualitative approach with an interpretive research paradigm.  Laura Oswald’s marketing semiotics  is the analytical method used in the current study. This study indicates that Starbucks Indonesia and Coffee Bean Indonesia have different target markets and distinctive brand images. Starbucks Indonesia uses simple words and sentences. Starbucks has a more personal or individual promotion; Coffee Bean Indonesia has a more dynamic approach and has word choices that   are immediately related to religion and culture; the image created by Coffee Bean itself is familiar to the Indonesians and their social environment.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting financial distress in Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016–2020. The data used is sourced from the company's financial statements on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the sample has been selected based on predetermined criteria. The population in this study are all Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016–2020 totaling 30 companies, with purposive sampling method, the sample received is 12 companies. From this research, it can be seen that sales growth and working capital turnover partially effect financial distress significantly. Institutional ownership and debt to equity ratio have an insignificant effect on financial distress. All variables have a significant effect on financial distress simultaneously.

Abstract

College Students entering higher education will form new habits and require efforts to adjust to the demands of autonomy. Self-leadership is one of the adjustment strategies needed to achieve autonomy. This study aims to find out the relationship between self-leadership and student autonomy. The subject of the study was 211 college students of Theological College in North Sumatra. The data was collected using two scales, namely a self-leadership scale of 34 items with a α = 0.91 and an autonomy scale of 30 items with a α = 0.87. Pearson Product Moment's correlational analysis showed a correlation value of 0.679 with sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 (p<0.01) which means there is a very significant positive relationship between self-leadership and autonomy. Students who develop self-leadership strategies, namely behavior-focused strategies, natural reward strategies constructive thought strategies will be able to direct themselves in acting as they see fit, making their own decisions and accounting for their own behavior. The coefficient of determination of R Square is 0.462 which means the percentage of self-leadership variable contribution to increased autonomy is 46.2% and 53.8% is the contribution of other variables. The motivation and environment of students, the character of the tasks given, the competence of teaching lecturers, and the materials or courses taken by students may be able to contribute in student autonomy to the reach of academic achievement.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to propose a framework model to capture the knowledge management (KM) process and KM enablers and their connection to improving learning and growth in creative industries. This study is a literature review that analyses several articles related to KM and creative industries. Field observations were conducted at two creative industries to verify the literature review results. This review explores several studies of KM enablers and KM processes to identify KM’s relationship with organizational performance. Organizational performance can be measured from several perspectives, one of which is the tangible perspective of learning and growth. The framework model comprises three interrelated concepts of KM and performance: KM enablers, KM processes, and learning and growth as an intangible type of performance. Further study is needed to identify the types of KM enablers and KM processes to obtain a better understanding of how to improve the performance of creative industries. This study is limited to knowledge management in creative industries. Studies of KM strategies in creative industries are limited, including in Indonesia. Previous studies identify the relationship between KM implementation and improving tangible performance measurements, such as financial and customer performance. This study contributes to our knowledge of implementing KM to improve intangible performance in creative industries.
