Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of asset structure, profitability, company size and sales growth on capital structureKompas Stock Index Company 100. Quantitative research approach with explanatory types of research. There are 100 companies in Kompas 100 with the use of a sample of 40 companies with a total of 200 observational data. The result is that the asset structure, profitability, firm size have an effect oncapital structure Kompas Stock Index Company 100. Sales growth has no effect oncapital structure Kompas Stock Index Company 100. Asset structure, profitability, company size and sales growth have an effect on capital structure Kompas Stock Index Company 100.

Abstract

The Office of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Yapen Islands Regency, Papua, as a local government agency is obliged to foster, protect, and pay attention to issues related to industry, trade, cooperatives, and small and medium enterprises. Good employee performance is important in order to support the smooth running of official duties. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of work discipline, work ethic and work environment on employee work performance at the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Yapen Islands Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The sample used in this study were 66 respondents. The hypothesis was tested by multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results of the analysis show that work discipline has a significant positive effect on employee work performance, the higher the level of employee discipline, the higher the work performance. Work ethic has a significant positive effect on employee work performance, the better the work ethic of the employee, the better the work performance. The work environment has a significant positive effect on employee work performance, the better the work environment, the better the employee's work performance.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out data and information related to the readiness of study programs that have been accredited A at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra in order to participate in international accreditation; 2) to find out how to create and determine the readiness model of study programs that have been accredited A in following international accreditation at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra; 3) to implement and improve the international accreditation preparation model for study programs that have been accredited A at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra. The research method used is research and development using Borg and Gall. Borg and Gall applied only up to step 5 only. This is because the ultimate goal of this research is to apply the model that has been found. The 5 steps start from initial research, determining the model, implementing the model and improving the model. To find the condition and readiness of the study program used descriptive research methods with categorization analysis for the measuring instrument. The results of this study were analyzed to determine the model for implementing the study program's readiness to carry out international accreditation. The model formed will be applied to one study program. The results of this application will be used to improve the first model that has been formed and applied earlier. Through this research, a model for implementing international accreditation has been found for study programs that have been accredited A by BAN PT at UMSU. This model can be used as material for other study programs in carrying out international accreditation and can be imitated by study programs at other universities with the same desire. The output of this research is being worked on because the research process has just been completed.

Abstract

Strengthening Character Education (PPK) is an attempt by the government to improve the national education system. Character is the main foundation that is most important for achieving educational goals. Improving the education system is also done by improving the curriculum used by schools. The 2013 curriculum is currently in force by making changes to the content standards and assessment standards. Schoology is a site that combines social networking and LMS, so that with Schoology, we can interact socially while learning. The research objective is to applymedia E-Learning learning with Schoology towards strengthening character education (PPK). The research method used is quantitative experimental research. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Langsa. Data collection is done by measuring character education. The results of this study are 66.93% religious character, social care character value 71.20, discipline character with 74.93 value and responsibility character value 72.53. The conclusion of this study is very high religious character.

Abstract

The background of this research is the need for quality financial reports. This research aims to determine how the implementation of accounting information system in PT. Lembang Abadi Indah based MYOB. With the use of MYOB software application for accounting information System the company can improve the quality of accounting information in generating relevant financial statements.  The methods used in research are qualitative approaches. Design research is a qualitative dexriptif. The source of data obtained from this research is from primary data on primary data collection conducted through observation and interviews with the authorities. In this research, the secondary data sources used by researchers are sources related to the research object can be an accounting information system based on MYOB Accounting V13 that has been implemented in PT. Lembang Abadi Indah. The implementation of an accounting information system based on MYOB at PT. Lembang Abadi Indah is already running well, MYOB provides the relevance of information in supporting business process, including it is presented in a timely, accurate, consistent, usable and complete. With the application of MYOB accounting information obtained by the company become more accurate because the calculation automatically by the computer and financial statements can be generated quickly and complete because the transactions entered will be processed automatically into the financial statements.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of derivative transactions on earnings management, the effect of earnings management on value relevance of earnings, and the effect of derivative transactions on value relevance of earnings. This study uses data from non-financial companies in Indonesia for the period 2013-2017 with 43 sample of companies. In this study, earnings management is calculated based on the Jaggi model. The value relevance of earnings is calculated based on Ohlson's model.  The results show that derivative transactions have a positive effect on earnings management. Earnings management negatively affects the value relevance of earnings. Derivative transactions are not proven to have a negative effect on the value relevance of earnings. Derivative transactions, especially those with non-hedging criteria, show a high tendency towards earnings management activities. Derivative transactions have a positive effect on earnings management. With the negative influence of derivative transactions and earnings management activities on the value relevance of earnings, the commissioner or audit committee needs to carry out an internal oversight function in reporting financial statements, especially in non-financial companies that carry out derivative transactions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the potential occurrence of stunting for residents who live on the river side, especially residents who live and inhabit the Kahayan River. And the subject is women who are pregnant, have a toddler. The study was conducted with a qualitative method, a descriptive approach used to explain stunting potential for people who live on riverside. This study uses purposive sampling, data collection techniques used: interviews, observation and documentation. The findings of this study are the environmental health conditions of people who live on riverside are very bad, if it refers to WHO standards, because there are no adequate sanitation facilities related to water management and disposal of solid and liquid waste, plus the habits of people who still throw garbage directly into the river. Environmental health in the community should be improved through collaboration of various institutions, in process to change the behavior patterns of disposing of garbage in the river.  Second Findings the potential for stunting in the riverside communities is quite large, because the majority of peoples doesn’t count nutritional content in food, so awareness and empowerment should be done. So that in the future there will be an increase in the quality of health of children, mothers and adolescents.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Medan City Community Perceptions of the Brand Medan Rumah Kita", the purpose of this research is to find out the perception of the Medan Struggle community towards the Medan City government brand, to find out the existence of a community that supports the brand Medan Rumah Kita, to find out what media are used in container information and promotion of the Medan Rumah Kita brand. The theory used to analyze this research is communication theory. The object of research is the Medan City government office and Medan Perjuangan community. This research method is a case study approach method of Medan Perjuangan people and the population is the Head of Medan City Subdivision Government and Medan Perjuangan Subdistrict Community who have a Resident Identity Card (KTP) and have Social Media. The analysis technique used is domain analysis. The results showed that the majority of respondents gave the perception that Medan Rumah Kita whose name means our house must be taken care of, cared for properly if we stay at home in harmony with one of the Medan City government missions, namely cooperation in which together or working together build the Medan City together with the Medan City community, then the Medan Struggle community supports the Brand Medan Rumah Kita, and the Medan City Government has promoted the Medan Rumah Kita Brand through all mass media, electronic media, print media, online media, social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the strategy for developing a management system for strengthening the accreditation of study programs at Islamic religious universities through the use of literature study techniques such as observation, comparison of research journals, book collection, and other reading sources. Data analysis entails several steps, including data reduction, visualization, and conclusion drawing. According to the findings and analysis of the strategy for developing a management system for enhancing the accreditation of study programs for institutions, the strategy will focus on enhancing the accreditation of study programs at Islamic religious universities. According to his findings, the strategy for developing a management system for strengthening institutional study programs based on the strengthening of study programs at Islamic religious universities can have an effect on increasing the accreditation of service study programs, performance, governance, budgets, and the reputation of institutions and study programs. As demonstrated by the data in this study, implementing a management system development strategy centered on enhancing the accreditation of study programs at Islamic religious universities can result in a number of benefits, including the following: a) strengthening organizational governance; b) developing a strong knowledge base; c) cultivating a proactive culture of continuous improvement; d) adhering to applicable laws and regulations; and e) ensuring that, as a result, thinking centered on strengthening the accreditation of study programs has developed into a way of thinking that is embedded in stakeholders and decision makers throughout the organization.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of service quality and trust in developing customer satisfaction and loyalty at JNE Margonda, Depok. The research is used as a quantitative approach. Respondents are 127 people who were taken by purposive sampling technique. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel 8.80 applications for analyzing the data. All three hypotheses are accepted, and the data supports the model. H1: service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. H2: Trust has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. H3: Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The Conclusion: (1) The high quality of service from JNE Surabaya increases customer satisfaction (2) If trust in JNE Surabaya is high, then higher customer satisfaction will be higher too; (3) Respondents who feel satisfied when using JNE Margonda services will be more loyal to JNE Surabaya.
