Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has been attacked almost all countries in the world since 2020 has changed the lifestyle and habits of peoples globally. Since this outbreak until now, peoples in all countries including in Indonesia must implement the health protocols to reduce the rate of virus transmission. One of them is by maintaining hand hygiene by washing hands using soap or hand sanitizer (HS).  HS is used as an alternative in conditions which is difficult to washing hand. But, rural communities, especially in Tangguh Village in Kampung Pasir Honje, Sukawening, Ciwidey, Bandung Regency, are currently unable to use it due to limited access and economy. Training of making HS for the community can be a solution in overcoming this problem. Thie aims of this activity to provide skills to the people of Tangguh Village to make hand sanitizers made from alcohol and non alcohol. Method: conducted by lectures and do questions and answers about HS and then direct practice of making HS. Result: All participants can make hand sanitizers well. There are 2 types of HS that have been successfully made by the community, namely HS containing alcohol and HS free of alcohol. The alcohol content in the first type is around 60-70%, while the alcohol-free HS is made from betel leaf extract because it contains antibacterial compounds. The results of the evaluation show that 50% of the participants stated that they were very satisfied with the implementation of this activity and about 92% stated that this activity was very beneficial for them.

Abstract

Housewives (RT) in one of the Talun Districts are active in activities every month, namely “arisan”. Unfortunately, those who are members of the RT Community just fill their spare time because on average they don't work in the formal sector. They want to increase their potential by not forgetting their obligations as wives or mothers at home. This is urgent to do to increase the potential of women in order to produce superior resources. Currently, women's participation in the business sector is increasing. This is due to the provision of equal and fair opportunities for women to carry out business activities, so that it is expected to help improve the family economy. Thus, it cannot be denied that women can strengthen the economic resilience of families and communities. Therefore, the team seeks to take advantage of opportunities to increase the potential of mothers by providing appropriate skills, raw materials that are easily available and having economic values. This skill is the decoupage. Method used to carry out community service in the form of lectures, questions and answers, and practice through four stages starting from the analysis process to determining the target output. The results obtained by partners are very enthusiastic and have a desire to practice independently to be more skilled. In addition, the participants had mastered the knowledge of techniques for making decoupage crafts and marketing.

Abstract

The Real Work Lecture Program (KKN) of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta provides support for the establishment of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). The benefits of BUMDes are to improve the village and community economy, increase original village income, and improve potential village management according to community needs and economic equity. The implementation of the Community Service Program was held in Sendangarum Village, Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region, from October 15 to December 15, 2021, in the context of community service, which aims to optimize the potential and progress of the village by preparing villages to form BUMDes. The method of implementing the program is by socializing the importance of establishing BUMDes, making complete information about villages through making village profiles that are useful as village introductions, and exploring village potential. The appearance of an attractive Instagram logo and social media is a strategy to increase product sales packaged in preparing for the formation of BUMDes. Assistance and training with training on institutional aspects of BUMDes, BUMDes Innovation Training, BUMDes Digitization Training, and BUMDes Sustainability Training help prepare for the formation of (BUMDes). Mentoring and training facilitated by the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta support realizing the ideals of Sendangarum Village to have a BUMDes.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship in this time is still less echoed because the ratio of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is meager. The community of conducted at Porong 2 state middle school various problems by empowering the existence of students' entrepreneurial canteens to have entrepreneurial skills, courage to face challenges, and entrepreneurial independence. This method of implementing into several stages, including 1) the planning stage, 2) the organizing stage, 3) the implementation stage, 4) the monitoring and evaluation stage, 5) the follow-up stage. The development and empowerment of entrepreneurship canteens in schools effectively makes students more active, productive and responsible in their lives

Abstract

Sauce and chili sauce are pasta product that well-known and popular in the community. These products can be processed through simple technology at the household level. Local food ingredients such as papaya, pumpkin, and chayote can be used as raw material for sauces. Not many people know about the appropriate technology for processing sauces with local ingredients. This activity aims to introduce appropriate technology for processing sauces and chili sauce with local ingredients. The method of implementing activities was through training includes lectures for theoretical material on food safety, food additives and packaging. While the introduction of appropriate technology was carried out by practicum. For carrying out practicum, participants were divided into groups (5 people / group). The target of this activity is 50 members of 'Aisyiyah Semarang City. In general, the results of the activities showed that the target participants were 50 people, and all of them followed a series of activities until the end. The participation and activeness of all participants in lectures and practicum showed that this service activity has been achieved. The results of the practicum in the form of sauce and chili sauce products generally had fairly good characteristics. This shows that the appropriate technology for processing sauces and chili sauce with diversification of local food ingredients can be understood and implemented properly by all participants. This activity has been able to provide new information to participants in addition to the processing process as well as the utilization of local materials that have not been known to the participants beforehand.

Abstract

As we all know that the Covid-19 pandemic has paralyzed various aspects including education. In the field of education, learning habits are limited face-to-face and are required to apply strict health protocols. On the other hand, the ability of teachers to teach their field of study using online methods still has limitations, for example, the ability to design teaching materials and transfer learning using media is considered to be very limited. Training and improving teacher competence through blended learning and the use of hyper content with hyperlinks are seen as one of the solutions so that teachers can design teaching materials oriented to text and image processing by using QR Codes. The subject matter, whether text, images, graphics, diagrams, or models designed by the teacher, can be delivered by using hyper content and inserting links to being content on the internet such as YouTube, to enhance the knowledge supply of teachers and students. The training activities were carried out face-to-face at the New Building, UPI Campus in Purwakarta, involving 20 Junior High School Teachers and 18 Madrasah Tsanawiyah Teachers in Purwakarta Regency. The results of the activity show that the blended learning hyper content with hyperlink training can improve the ability of teachers in designing engaging, interactive digital modules or teaching materials that are rich in content that can be accessed online anytime and anywhere or printed and then scanned via QR Code when students want to access the provided learning content. Thus, blended learning hyper content with hyperlinks can be used as an effective solution in improving the ability of teachers to design teaching materials during the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of limited face-to-face learning.

Abstract

Drug users in DIY from 2008 to 2015 have increased. Data from the State Narcotics Agency said that drug users in 2008 were 2.72%, in 2011 2.8% and 2015 were 3.37%. The purpose of this activity is to form a cadre of preventive health promotion for adolescents. The method of implementing the activity is by forming cadres who have been trained and conducting socialization to other teenagers to motivate drug tests. The result was formed 15 cadres or observers and socialized prevention efforts of 46 drug users who were motivated by drug testing. The output of this activity is in addition to the formation of cadres and adolescents who are socialized can increase public knowledge related to the dangers of drug abuse.

Abstract

MSME actors have limited knowledge in applying for halal certification so that it becomes an obstacle in implementing halal product guarantees in Indonesia. Whereas the halal logo on the packaging has an impact on purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction. Community service aims to provide training on the importance of halal certification as an effort to increase customer satisfaction for MSME actors. The target of the activity is 26 MSMEs in Surabaya. The method used is lectures and questions and answers followed by distributing knowledge questionnaires about halal certification and consumer satisfaction as material for evaluating activities. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the Paired Sample Test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant increase in knowledge (p-value 0.000). This is indicated by the average knowledge score before training from 3.81 to 6.50 after being given training. Furthermore, MSME actors expect there are activities to assist in the registration of halal certification.

Abstract

Lansia adalah setiap orang yang berusia 60 tahun atau lebih, yang secara fisik terlihat berbeda dengan kelompok usia lainnya. Pengetahuan merupakan faktor yang membentuk perilaku seseorang. Perilaku seseorang memiliki peranan penting dalam menetukan kesehatan gigi mulut. Salah satu kondisi yang sering terjadi pada rongga mulut lansia yaitu kehilangan gigi yang disebabkan oleh karies gigi. Hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar (RISKESDAS 2018) menyatakan penduduk Indonesia yang memiliki masalah gigi dan mulut dengan proporsi usia 55-64 tahun sebanyak 61,9% dan usia >65 tahun sebanyak 54,2%. Untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan kesehatan gigi mulut, perilaku kesehatan gigi mulut, dan status gigi pada lansia di Panti Wreda Surakarta. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif observasional dengan cross sectional design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 55 orang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif survey. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa dari keseluruhan lansia di Panti Wreda Surakarta yang berjumlah 55 orang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dengan kategori sedang sebanyak 30 orang (54,6%) dan perilaku kesehatan gigi mulut dengan kategori sedang sebanyak 40 orang (72,7%). Status gigi geligi lansia menunjukan bahwa lansia yang mengalami karies gigi sebanyak 41 orang (74,6%), gigi yang dicabut atau hilang sebanyak 53 orang (96,4%), gigi yang di tambal sebanyak 6 orang (10,9%), dan gigi yang goyah sebanyak 4 orang (7,3%). Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan kesehatan gigi mulut lansia dan perilaku kesehatan gigi mulut lansia yang tinggal di Panti Wreda Surakarta termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Status gigi geligi lansia menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar lansia sudah kehilangan banyak gigi-giginya yang disebabkan karena karies gigi dan sisa akar pada gigi.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that is currently happening in Indonesia has had a major impact in all fields, one of which is education. In this pandemic period, education in Indonesia must be carried out online, which results in the inhibition of direct interaction between teachers and students. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture organizes a Teaching Campus program, which is part of the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy. This Teaching Campus Program aims to provide solutions for elementary schools affected by the pandemic by empowering students who live around the school area to assist teachers in carrying out learning activities in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Class 2 Teaching Campus at Public Elementatry School 04 of Purwosari includes the following: First, teaching is carried out by home visits, through online media, and face-to-face (after limited PTM verification). Second, technology adaptation by helping teachers prepare materials sent via WhatsApp media, and third, assisting administration in the form of allocating textbooks in libraries and collecting student data.
