Abstract

Teachers play a very strategic role for the progress of a school institution. The teacher's role is multidimensional and graded according to education level, namely as: educator, teacher, leader, servant, mentor, motivator, and researcher. Therefore, the behavior of Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) should be owned by educators, especially teachers. Individual behavior in the organization is distinguished into behavior that is in accordance with the role (intra-role behavior) and behavior outside or beyond the role (extra-role behavior). Extra role itself has many terms, one of which is Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a positive work behavior, outside of the tasks imposed by the organization carried out by a teacher. This study uses quantitative research methods, with the number of research subjects totaling 94 teachers of Madrasah Istiqlal Jakarta (MIJ), both teachers with permanent foundation teachers (GTY) and non-permanent Foundation teachers (GTTY). The research instrument used is the OCB scale. The scale is compiled using Likert scale modeling. The results showed that based on the OCB frequency distribution of permanent teachers at the Jakarta Istiqlal Madrasah Foundation above, the research subject data showed that there were 6 teachers or 11.11% who had a very high OCB level, 31 teachers or 57.41% had a very high OCB. high, 13 teachers or 24.07 low OCB levels, and 4 teachers or 7.41. While the OCB frequency distribution for non-permanent foundation teachers is 8 teachers or 20% have very high OCB levels, 24 teachers or 60% high OCB levels, 5 teachers or 12.50% low OCB levels, and 3 teachers or 7.50%.

Abstract

Fiqih is one of the essential subjects at the Madrasah Aliyah level because it provides an understanding of Islamic Shari'a law.Law is dynamic, therefore, to understand Islamic law, critical and creative thinking is needed. This is due to the growing era and the ever-changing problems of life. The industrial revolution 4.0 is a 21st century world development that demands changes in competence, which is marked by the use of information and communication technology in all aspects of life, including in the learning process. The ability to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate is an important competency in entering the life of the 21st century, requiring the government to improve human resources. Likewise in the world of education, students must be able to solve problems with their critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the critical thinking skills of class XI students in one of the madrasah aliyah in the city of Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative using a test as a research instrument. The results of processing and analysis of this study indicate that students' critical thinking skills are in the moderate category with an average score of 73. Therefore, in the learning process, teachers must always improve the quality of education by facilitating students to develop their critical thinking skills and abilities.

Abstract

The low quality of human resources is a fundamental problem that hinders the economic development of the country. Statistical data shows that Indonesia's labor force is still dominated by people with basic education. This low level of education is an obstacle to our ability to produce competitive products using the latest technology. The method used in this study uses a literature method or approach. Literature research can be interpreted as a series of activities related to how data in the form of literature is collected, compiled, and analyzed to produce findings. The application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the field of education must be fundamental and sustainable. Educational institutions should adopt TQM as a process and initiative to improve and restore the quality of education in managed school institutions, since the application of TQM principles produces good results in achieving quality. The principles of TQM are likened to pillars that strengthen and support the organizational movement of a school institution to achieve the specified quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe that The National Zakat Board -BAZNAS as an Amil Zakat Institution, one of its duties and functions is for community empowerment. The issue of delinquent fee in educational institutions is a main concerns in this research. “Bekasi Cerdas”; as educational program from BAZNAS is helping the poor and needy so they would be able to continue their education. The research method used in this study is qualitative. The data in this study was obtained from 28 respondens of Baznas beneficiaries. The results can be concluded that there is a require for synergy between Baznas and the government in overcome educational problems in an effort to empower community in particular the poor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of the active learning approach and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Al Muslim Junior High School Tambun. The active learning approach and learning motivation help students understand Islamic Religious Education materials. The approach of this paper is quantitative. The research method used is a survey. This study uses data collection techniques using questionnaires and written tests using multiple regression test data analysis techniques. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, written tests, and Islamic Religious Education learning activities. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the active learning approach and learning motivation together on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education at SMP al Muslim Tambun in Bekasi Regency. This causal relationship is proven by Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount = 6.950, there is a significant effect of active learning approach on learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education at Al Muslim Junior High School in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by Sig. = 0.020 <0.05 and tcount 2.399, and there is a significant influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education at Al Muslim Middle School Tambun in Bekasi Regency. This is proven by Sig. = 0.028 < 0.05 and tcount 2.248.

Abstract

Reading the Qur'an is an obligation for Muslims and Muslim women to be studied because the Qur'an is the foundation in understanding Islamic teachings. The most basic thing for students is to be able to read the Koran properly and correctly in accordance with the legal rules of reading the Koran such as recitation and makhorijul letters. However, there are still students who have difficulty reading the Qur'an. Factors that cause students' low ability to read the Qur'an are internal factors from students who are lazy to recite the Koran because they mostly play gadgets and external factors are motivation from weak parents. This study aims to analyze the factors that hinder the ability to read the Koran in grade VII in one of the junior high schools in Garut city. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative by using the Koran reading test as the research instrument. the test results of the ability to read the Qur'an from 40 students who are included in the low category as many as 4 people. Therefore, the role of educators, parents, and the environment will greatly affect the motivation of students in reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine and analyze the problems education of Islamic moderation from the viewpoint of Wahbah al-Zuhaili's Tafsir al-Munir and al-Fiqh al-Islamiy wa Adillatuhu science. The focus of the study in this paper is to analyze the moderate thoughts of Wahbah al-Zuhaili in understanding Islam through Tafsir al-Munir. Wahbah al-Zuhaili as a Muslim intellectual who mastered various scientific disciplines and had a moderate perspective. Wahbah al-Zuhaili's thoughts on moderation in Islamic law through his work al-Fiqh al-Islamiy wa Adilatuhu. In the book of al-Fiqh al-Islamiy wa Adillatuhu, indicators of moderation in Islamic law are a) Flexibility in Islamic Law, b) Renewal in Islamic Law, c) Views in Schools.

Abstract

ABSTRACK This research was conducted at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School in Depok City with the aim of understanding the attitudes of religious moderation among the students (santri). The study is motivated by the fact that Depok ranks fifth as an intolerant city according to a study by Setara Institute in collaboration with the Presidential Unit for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology (UKP-PIP). Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School was chosen as the location for community service with a focus on religious moderation education, with the hope of strengthening harmony and tolerance in the community of Depok City. Research at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School involved 50 participants from among the students and local residents. The seminar held as part of the research activities was attended by Dr. Ahmad Sujai, MM., as Speaker I, Ust. Abdurrahman (Riri), M.Pd., as Speaker II, and Mr. A. Muwahid Muhammadi, S.HI, MM., as the Moderator. The research results indicate that the understanding of religious moderation at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School is generally good. However, there is variation in the level of understanding among respondents. This data analysis provides a deeper understanding of the distribution and variation of attitudes towards religious moderation in the boarding school. Additionally, factors such as the educational background of the students, the social organization of the guardian parents, the teaching of religious moderation, and the leadership role (Kiai) also contribute to the understanding and attitudes of religious moderation at Al-Awwabin Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students is one of the projects implemented in the Merdeka curriculum, the implementation of which is different in each school. This research aims to find out how the implementation of the independent curriculum strengthens the profile of Pancasila in the school. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research were obtained from interviews and observations. Using interview instruments, this research conducted interviews with informants from schools consisting of school principals, teachers and students. Based on the results of this research, the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMA Dharma Wanita, Kediri, East Java has not been implemented comprehensively, but has only been implemented in grade 10. Meanwhile, grades 11 and 12 are still implementing the 2013 Curriculum, and are collaborating with the Putra Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) as an educational consultant to hold outreach and training at SMA Dharma Wanita, Kediri, East Java which discusses the independent curriculum, learning the independent curriculum and learning about P5 activities. Then, in its implementation, SMA Dharma Wanita formed a team of several teachers who were the driving force for creating the P5 project and teaching modules. The Independent Curriculum teaching module at SMA Dharma Wanita was created by adopting or adapting examples of teaching modules that have been created by the ministry and adapted to the school's capabilities.

Abstract

Pemahaman agama tentang adab berpakaian muslimah adalah aspek krusial bagi umat islam Karena berpakaian bukan hanya ibadah tetapi juga penanda identitas keislaman. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan konsisten mengenai adab berpakaian muslimah yang didasarkan pada ajaran agama Islam yang sebenarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pemahaman agama terhadap adab berpakaian di SMK Nurul Iman Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode “Deskriptif Analitik Korelarional”. Objek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X, XI, XII SMK Nurul Iman Jakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 327 peserta didik, dan sampel berdasarkan rumus slovin menjadi 105 peserta didik. Teknik metodologi penelitian menggunakan simple random sampling, untuk menganalisis data dengan korelasi product moment (rxy). Data yang dihasil dari korelasi product moment rxy sebesar 0,622, dan berdasarkan interpretasi data menunjukan bahwa metode demostrasi memiliki korelasi yang sedang atau cukup yaitu 0,40 – 0.70.
