Abstract

Land suitability for particular uses is usually evaluated using land characteristics or land quality. Land suitability is crucial to determining the success of a plant's production. Janggelan plants are potential commodities that are potential to be developed. Technological opportunities and innovations in the development of Janggelan are very wide open, both as a source of food, biopharmaceutical, industrial, and trade. The cultivated land has been exported to Thailand, Vietnam and China in dry form. However, during this time, janggelan plants have not been developed and only planted as side crops in agroforestry. The purpose of this activity is the development of janggelan plant based on land suitability analysis in Pacitan Regency and increase the production of grass jelly in Pacitan regency.Keywords : janggelan, land suitability, Pacitan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKekerasan anak di Indonesia semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya. Tahun 2011 terjadi 2178 kasus kekerasan, 2012 ada 3512 kasus, 2013 ada 4311 kasus, 2014 ada 5066 kasus (KPAI, 2015).Hal ini terjadi salah satunya karena dari sisi kelembagaan gerakan perlindungan anak belum berjalan optimal karena pemahaman akan pentingnya perlindungan anak dari para pemangku kepentingan (stakeholder), baik dari para pengambil kebijakan, penyelenggara, dan masyarakat, masih terbatas.Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini membentuk kelompok relawan perlindungan kepada anak dari ibu-ibu pengurus PCA Kraton sehingga relawan tersebut dapat mengkampanyekan tentang perlindungan anak kepada orangtua maupun kepada masyarakat umum dan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan relawan mempraktekkan ilmu terkait hak-hak anak.Materi yang disampaikan antara lain dampak kekerasan terhadap anak, mengenali tanda-tanda kekerasan terhadap anak, ketahanan keluarga dengan konsep keluarga sakinah, paralegal, parenting  orang tua & anak korban kejahatan seksual, prinsip dasar dalam kerja pendampingan anak korban kekerasan & kode etik, prinsip dasar dalam kerja pendampingan anak korban, faktor resiko & penyebab kekerasan, peran keluarga untuk pencegahan, langkah-langkah pendampingan terhadap kekerasan anak, pertolongan pertama psikologis dan alur layanan pendampingan anak korban kekerasan melalui power point dan modul pelatihan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan TOT atau training relawan perlindungan anak di wilayah PCA Kraton.Pelatihan pemberdayaan relawan dalam upaya penanggulangan kekerasan terhadap anak di Pimpinan Cabang Aisyiyah Kraton Yogyakarta mampu meningkatkan dan kemampuan relawan mempraktekan ilmu terkait hak-hak anak. Hal ini dibuktikan setelah dilakukan ToT terbentuk relawan perlindungan anak yang dinama GACA ( Gerakan Aisyiyah Cinta Anak ) terdiri dari berbagai unsur majelis seperti majelis  hukum dan HAM, majelis soial, majelis tableq, majelis dikdasmen , majelis kebudayaan dll serta telah menetapkan program kerja.Kata kunci : penanggulangan kekerasan, anak korban kekerasan

Abstract

Buku Limau village is located at Belitung Timur district. This village is one out of 18 remoted villages which located in one region of Bangka Belitung Province. Buku Limau village is also one out of three villages which are populated by the people. One of the greatest potential of this village is tourism, which have a very lovey beaches all along the coast line. However, it seems that they do not have an adequate number of human resources. The purpose of this students community service programme is to increase the awereness of Buku Limau people in several important aspects, namely: education, tourism, well-being based on local wisdom. In order to increase those several aspects, the students will held several comunnity job, namely: first aid training, training and education for tourism human resources. These several community service will helped the people of Buku Limau to increase their wealth and boost the tourism programme.

Abstract

Managing and packaging information of tourism destination is one of the important components of tourism at the regional level. However, the activities to manage the tourism information at the local level have not been handled well, due to the minimum knowledge and skills of local human resources on how to manage and develop the tourism information system. This community services aimed to empower the Group of Tourism Activist called Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) Mutiara Mas to organizing and managing the tourism information of Krakal Beach, which is located at District of Gunung Kidul, DI Yogyakarta Province. The community services had been done in 2015, following some steps, i.e. 1) Exploration and identification the tourism objects, 2) Focus Group Discussion to collect some data from the perspective of local people, 3) Interview to some important figures to explore more information, 4) Do training for participants, and 5) Monitoring the program. Method to empowering the member of POKDARWIS called 3Mp, which is abbreviation of the first M is Mengumpulkan (Collecting), the second M is Mengolah (Processing), the third M is Memberikan (Giving), and the small p is for pelayanan (services). The result of community services were website of Krakal Beach tourism, pamphlet, direction board, and map of Krakal tourism destination. Another result was the establishment of a group of tourism guide called Kelompok Krakal Kreatif (in brief K3), which is a part of POKDARWIS with special tasks, i.e. to manage the information of Krakal tourism, and to guide tourist to know and enjoy the pleasures of Krakal Beach by providing various information services. Key Words: Pokdarwis empowerment, model 3Mp, tourism info, tourism guide, Krakal Beach

Abstract

Organic wastes disposal without sufficient treatment by both Tani Makmur Association Farmer Groups and Alcohol Industry Small and Medium Enterprises in Ngombakan Village and chemical fertilizer application has indicated paddy soil quality decrease in surrounding area. IbM’s implementation as joint business pioneering trial in their organic wastes based fertilizer production is an effective strategy to solve those problems. Mainly, the activity purpose is to transfer technology of organic fertilizer production method from vinasse, cow dung, rice straw, and paddy soil. Thetechnologywhich be transferred consist ofvinasse pre-treatment, rice straw and paddy soil-based bioactivator production and propagation, organic fertilizer production using double composting method from vinasse, cow dung, and rice straw with rice straw and paddy soil-based bioactivator, and its organic fertilizer products application into rice plant. The techology transfer methods used are giving talks & discussion, demonstration & practice, and accompaniment. Event was attended by 25 participants from Tani Makmur Association Farmer Groups and 6 participants from Ngombakan Alcohol Industry Small and Medium Enterprises. In this activity, given 4 liquid organic composter having capacity 60 L, 10 L of bioactivator (consortium of Azotobacter, phosphate solubilizing bacteria, and sellulolitic bacteria), bioactivator propagation tools, 2 pre-treatment vinasse drums having capacity 200 L, and leaflet for each transfer tecnology topics. Results of activity showed an increased the ability to do vinasse pre-treatment for Ngombakan Alcohol Industry Small and Medium Enterprises, and to propagate bioactivator, to produce organic fertilizers, and to apply its products to their rice plant field for the farmers. Abstract

Produk lele di Desa Mojogedang, Karanganyar sangat melimpah, namun warga masyarakat belum dapat memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya alam tersebut sebagai alternatif peningkatan nilai ekonomi daerah. Pelatihan pemasaran berupa branding produk diberikan pada warga dalam upaya membantu memasarkan produk nugget lele yang sebelumnya dikenalkan sebagai inovasi produk lele dan sayur-mayur yang tersedia melimpah di daerah Mojogedang. Aktivitas pemasaran dan branding produk merupakan kunci keberhasilan produk untuk lebih dikenal oleh konsumen dan meningkatkan potensi penjualan produk. Pelatihan pemasaran sebagai bentuk pengabdian pada masyarakat ini diikuti oleh peserta dari anggota PKK Desa Mojogedang, Karanganyar.

Abstract

The ducks hatchery produces a number of waste comprises empty shells from hatched eggs, infertile eggs, dead embryos, and unhatched eggs. The presence of the waste in large amount can cause an environmental pollution. Furthermore, it has a potential but has not received enough attention in terms of utilization as feed ingredient in poultry ration. It contains a substantial amount of nutrients such as protein and calcium, and can be processed into hatchery waste meal that can be applied as an inconventional feed ingredient in ducks ration. The purpose of this activity was to process the ducks hatchery waste into hatchery waste meal to be applied in the ration of local ducks. We colaborated with the Farmers Group of Sabar Sabar 1 and Subur Subur 2 in the Village Gaum, Tasikmadu, Karanganyar. This activity comprises of two stages. The first stage was instructional methods and dialogue through socialization, whereas the second stage was the practical of the hatchery waste meal production and its application in ration. The benefits of this activity is the application of hatchery waste meal can increase ducks productivity, minimize the costs of ration and can reduce the impact of hatchery waste on environmental pollution.

Abstract

Science and technology activities for the community was held in bamboo handicraft business partners belonging to Wahyu Purnomo and Supri. Both Small and Medium Enterprises (SME5) partners produce home furniture and souvenirs using bamboo as the main material. The activities was located in Jambu Kulon village in district of Ceper, which is 13km from the city of Klaten or 33 km from the city of Surakarta. Issues to be solved in this activity are: bamboo craft designs that are not varied and bamboo SMEs have not implemented financial statements in conformity minimum accounting standards.Problems solving through the development of design (shape and color combination) and applying accounting training in accordance with the minimum accounting standards that are tailored to the needs and capabilities of SMEs bamboo. Using training and supervision individually or in groups, the results shows that: 1 ) Design a corner chair and chaise lounge on the Bamboo SMEs belongs to Supri has done. 2) Batik mega mendung design in a duck's handicraft and innovation of the form of a duck as a pencil case has implemented. 3) The financial statements conform to accounting standards minimum for bamboo SME has trained, which includes daily cash flow, purchases journal, sales journal, and income statement.
