Jurnal SUPERMAT akan menerbitkan naskah-naskah artikel ilmiah dalam cakupan bidang Pendidikan Matematika. Tulisan dapat berupa diseminasi hasil penelitian, telaah pustaka ilmiah yang komprehensif atau resensi dari buku ilmiah. Tulisan belum pernah dipublikasikan dan tidak sedang dipertimbangkan untuk dipublikasikan di jurnal lain. Secara keseluruhan, naskah harus memuat abstrak, pendahuluan, metode penelitian, hasil dan pembahasan, kesimpulan serta daftar pustaka. Artikel dapat ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris. Penulisan menggunakan MS Word, format halaman adalah 1 kolom, tipe font yang digunakan untuk bagian konten artikel adalah Times New Roman ukuran 12 pt spasi 1,5. Artikel dicetak pada kertas berukuran A4 (minimal 10 halaman dan maksimum 22 halaman) dengan batas marjin atas, bawah dan kanan 2,5 cm dan marjin kiri 3,0 cm. Artikel dituliskan tepi kanan dan kiri rata (justified), dan jorokan awal paragraf (first line) 1,25 cm. Tiap halaman harus diberi nomor halaman yang diletakkan di tengah. Jika artikel ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan terdapat kata dalam bahasa asing di dalam naskah, maka kata tersebut dinyatakan dalam tulisan miring.

Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan memiliki peranan penting dalam menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Melalui visi misinya untuk menciptakan pelajar pancasila dengan segala tugas dan kewenanagan yang dimiliki, Kemendikbud memiliki harapan agar peserta didik memili enam karakter yaitu bertakwa kepada Tuhan YME dan berakhlak mulia, mandiri, kreatif, bergotong royong, bernalar kritis, dan bekerja sama. Hasil tes PISA tahun 2018 yang rendah juga menjadi perhatian tersendiri agar tes PISA yang akan datang hasil yang didapat lebih baik. Melihat hal itu, sebagai dosen, kita harus memberikan sumbangsih dengan membuat modul pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan karakter bernalar kritis. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan suatu modul pembelajaran. Modul yang dibuat berisi soal-soal pemecahan masalah geometri dan pengukuran yang membuat siswa untuk bernalar dalam mengerjakannya. Modul ini dikembangkan dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) . Pada tahap analyze, peneliti menganalisis capaian pembelajaran yang ingin dicapai, pretest kemampuan bernalar kritis, serta materi yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Pada tahap design, peneliti merancang struktur modul pembelajaran. Pada tahap development, peneliti melakukan uji validasi dengan melibatkan para pakar dan kelompok siswa untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya. Rata-rata hasil uji kelayakan sebesar 92,4% yang artinya modul pembelajaran matematika yang dihasilkan sangat layak tanpa revisi. Pengembangan model pembelajaran matematika hanya sampai pada tahap development, karena disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian.

Abstract

Technological advances that continue to develop currently provide roles in various fields, one of which is education. Technology-based learning can be used as a learning medium, one of the technology-based learning media that can be used in learning geometry is the geometer's sketchpad application. This app is a commercial interactive geometry software program for exploring Euclidean geometry, algebra, calculus and other areas of mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Geometer's Sketchpad application on learning geometry. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The research subjects were 46 Mathematics Education students at STKIP Bima. Data analysis using t-test. Based on the results of the analysis of the independent sample t-test and calculations using the t test, it is found that tcount > ttable (3,603 > 2,015) then Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Geometer Sketchpad application on geometry learning outcomes in Mathematics Education Study Program students at STKIP Bima.

Abstract

This research is motivated by literacy and numeracy skills as one of the implementations of independent learning proclaimed by the Ministry of Education and Culture which is growing, so that teachers and various parties are always trying and innovating to continue to develop students' literacy and numeracy abilities. This study aims to determine how the influence of the Cettar-Membahana learning model can develop students' literacy and numeracy skills and Malaqbiq character. The research to be used is quasi-experimental research which aims to determine the effect of applying the Cettar Familiar model in developing students' numeracy literacy skills and Malaqbiq character. The research design used was a pre-test/post-test control group where Class VII B served as the experimental class and VII A as the control class, each consisting of 20 students. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Polewali, Polewali Mandar Regency. This study's results indicate that using the Cettar Memorizing learning model can develop students' literacy, numeracy, and malaqbiq character. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of student activities which show they are in the very active category (92.3%), the implementation of learning is in the well-implemented category (100%), and the average results of literacy and numeracy abilities are in the very high category (81). Therefore, this study can be concluded that the Cettar Memorization learning model has an effect on developing students' numeracy literacy skills and malaqbiq characters.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the learning process as long as students attend lectures and increase their average learning outcomes using the PBL model by utilizing google slides. The type of research used is quanti-tative. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent kontrol group design, meaning that the implementation of the study uses two groups of subjects to be designated as the experimental class and the kontrol class. Time and place of research in rooms 3 and 4 of FKIP Tan-jungpura University whose research was carried out on September 14, 2022. The population was 3 regular classes in the mathematics education study program that taught linear programming courses, while the samples were selected for class VA1 as the experimental class and VA2 as the class. kontrol through a ran-dom draw, each of which amounted to 22 students. The results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the Google Slide-based PBL model is effective on student learning outcomes in the fifth semester linear program material for the Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP Tanjungpura University. With the results of the hypothesis using the t test, it is obtained which means that it is rejected and accepted so that it can be concluded that the average learning outcomes of students using the SCL model using google slides are better than the TCL learning model. There is also a significant difference in this study, namely learning outcomes in the experimental class with an initial average of 51.55% and then increasing to 81.23%. From the use of google slides in the SCL model, it can improve student learning out-comes both after receiving treatment in the form of the learning process that has been carried out.

Abstract

Applied mathematics is a compulsory subject for students of the Civil Engineering Program at the University of Banten Jaya. Every student must graduate from an applied mathematics course, but in reality, there are still many students who experience difficulties in working on the question given. Students make various mistakes in the process of working on the questions so it is important for lecturers in charge of the course to find out the errors that often occur and the factor that cause these errors. This study aims to find out the mistakes made by students in solving problems in applied mathematics courses and the factors that cause these mistakes. This research is a qualitative descriptive study in which the subjects are students in the third semester of the 2022/2023 odd academic year as many as 30 students in the Civil Engineering Study Program, University of Banten Jaya. Data collection techniques used in this study were tests and non-tests. Non-test data collection activities are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusions. The results showed that the types of errors that often occur when students work on test questions are at the stage of transformation and process skills which include errors in understanding the questions given, students' conceptual errors, and errors in determining the correct formula to use in solving the questions. Factors that cause errors to occur include students not understanding the questions, students not understanding the concepts of the material provided, students not being thorough in carrying out the calculation process, and a lack of practice in working on various questions.

Abstract

The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is an assessment that designed to measure the literacy and numeracy abilities needed by all students to develop themselves and actively participate in society and to prepare students for the 21st century. The study aims to describe the numeracy ability of eighth graders of SMPN 134 Jakarta in answering the question of the Class Minimum Competency Assessment. The research technique used is a descriptive qualitative method. The research involved 58 eighth-grade students of SMPN 134 Jakarta during the 2022-2023 academic year who will be answering the question of the Class Minimum Competency Assessment on Phase D for numeracy competence. Furthermore, the results of students' work were categorized into three levels of numeracy ability, namely low, medium, and high. After being categorized, interviews were conducted with representatives of 3 students at each level of numeracy ability. Based on the results of study, it can be concluded that the numeracy ability level of eighth-grade students of SMPN 134 Jakarta is still low with details of 55 students at a low numeracy ability, 3 other students have medium numeracy ability, and no students at a high level of numeracy ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test whether the Open-Ended approach with the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) strategy is effective in terms of learning achievement and curiosity of junior high school students. The difference between this research and previous studies is that in the use of an open-ended approach students are required to express their thoughts orally to their colleagues through the TAPPS strategy. The One Group Pretest Posttest Design was used in this quasi-experimental study. The research sample was selected using cluster random sampling, with this technique class IIC was selected as the sample class. Multiple choice questions were used in this study to see learning achievement and questionnaires were used to see curiosity. Proportions test, paired t-test, and one-sample t-test were used to evaluate effectiveness. The proportion test shows that for both learning achievement and curiosity while . Paired t-test showed for learning achievement and for curiosity while the one sample t-test showed for learning achievement and for curiosity. For the last two tests use . The criteria for the three tests are the same, that is, they are met if . Based on the results of statistical tests, it can be concluded that the Open-Ended approach with the TAPPS strategy is effective for students in terms of learning achievement and curiosity, according to hypothesis testing at a significance level of 5%.

Abstract

Metacognition is essential in learning, especially in mathematics because students will be aware of their thinking processes in making plans, monitoring, and evaluating problem-solving. The purpose of this study is to describe the metacognition of junior high school students when solving math problems. This is a qualitative study with a case study design. The study included 32 eighth-grade students as participants.Tests and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data in this study. The researcher is the primary instrument in this study, with additional instruments such as straight-line equation tests and interview guides. A purposive sampling technique was used to select three of the study's 32 subjects. The study showed that: 1) The metacognition ability of subjects with high math scores when solving straight-line equation problems can achieve all indicators at each stage of metacognition. 2) The metacognition ability of subjects with moderate math scores when solving straight-line equation problems cannot achieve all indicators in the evaluation stage. 3) The metacognition ability of subjects with low math scores when solving straight-line equation problems, not all indicators in the information management strategies and debugging strategies stages can be achieved. Then none of the indicators in the evaluation stage can be achieved.

Abstract

The learning crisis associated with the Co-19 pandemic emergency has had a major impact on changes in education in Indonesia. Applying the project-based learning (PjBL) model is an independent curriculum implementation by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) to emerge from the crisis and restore learning after the Co-19 pandemic. The purpose of this article is to discuss the effectiveness of the project-based learning model as an independent curriculum application for learning mathematics. It is a method of literature research or library research by filtering the most relevant sources on the topic to be studied or addressed, then drawing conclusions, noting various key points and implementing them later.form of writing. The results of implementing the PjBL model will have a positive impact on the development of students' mathematical learning skills and provide solutions for post-pandemic recovery

Abstract

A positive attitude towards learning mathematics is crucial and should be present in students as it can reduce the obstacles faced during the learning process. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all aspects, including education. Teachers and students are required to conduct learning activities online, which of course, affects the mathematical resilience of students. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to describe the mathematical resilience of junior high school students in learning mathematics online. The method used in this article is descriptive qualitative with a non-test instrument in the form of a 30-item questionnaire that can be responded to by students using a Likert scale with a range of 1 to 5 points. The subjects were taken from grade IX students at one of the junior high schools in Karawang Regency. From the analysis that has been conducted, students are still able to overcome technical obstacles during the learning process. However, students face challenges in understanding and the lack of innovation from teachers in delivering material, which only relies on textbooks, so there needs to be development in terms of learning models and the form of the material presented.
